    Ninja sounds cool, although 36 random sheild charges would be heck on my video card and likely give me a headache, but I'd probably use it on consept alone. I think your foot stomp (or alternate animation whirling hands) would be most easily done. Maybe just a ninja leap off screen and a smash return to earth.

    How about just the typical ranged attacks:

    dark blast - got it - void
    fire - got it - pyro
    ice - got it - cryo
    elec - got it - ion
    rad - need it - nuclear -def high -def for short time vs medium -def for long time PBAOE

    sonic - need it - vibro/sono -rez high -rez for short time vs medium -rez for long time ConeAOE

    archery/weapons - need it - tanks/heavy artillery increased number targets/damage with chance to fire DOT for incidiary rounds vs very long ranged (combination of smash and leathal damage) and use crosshairs to target the epicenter like orbital lance (no actual target/critter needed tho)

    psy - need it - psycho -rech, vs -rech with -acc, fear PBAOE

    energy - need it - etherial(?) pillar/column of light TargAOE single/10 target(s) irrisitable damage x2 vs max 16 targets with high chance to x2 dam
  3. I agree with the last 2 posts: its a fun ride, but I dont like it after 50. The attack string is easy to do, the power from PS caps, and the addition of IO's really didnt make a significant play-style difference. Oddly, I felt more pigeon-holed than the combo system of Dual Blades, and I dont even use it o.O Go figure...

  4. I could see them limiting the effects of stacking rage much like they don't let Soul Drain stack. Not sure it is necessary, just think it's likely.
  5. Ya, missing the "Big 3." That means in issues 22 and 23 will be ice/ice ninjitsu (hopefully) +/- the dom's treatment (nothing). Oh, and Titan Weapons. Maybe next year...

    Can't wait to see numbers and the Pylon Results thread light-up

I believe the average damage is around 72 per hit when the proc fires depending on resistances then just multiply by your %, ex: 72dam/proc x .2 = 14.4 average; TOD is 15% because it is less often resisted. Now depending on your attack chain, you will have to factor in how often you use that attack - thats the best way. I'm sure someone else has a better way tho.

    I just wish they would have a ball-and-chain so I can make Meteor Hammer the way I intended: Not just stone/fire brute (using fury), or even empty hand. Either way, dang! Guess I'll be around another 84mo! (DING!)

    My stone melee toon doesnt "redraw" each hammer/mallot with each strike same with elemental weapons. The weapons in question may be "virtual" in this way. I know little about graphics/coding, but it seems that for new sets it could be worked around and that older sets are more intimately related to the weapon itself. A similar situation arises with granite armor and its powers: to have those powers you have to be a rock pile (no customizing).

    Regen issues

    I'd like to see 20% -recharge resist in resiliance and additional 25% in in each application of reconstruction for 30 seconds. Add winter's Gift and the set would have to *work* to maintain 100% with set bonuses.

    Add strong (1000s?) -regen to IH, modifiable with slotting, and active only wihile IH active, to power thru -regen debuffs in the game

    Or, scrap both and just add 80% -recharge to IH while up (+20% from resiliance) to let all other things recharge (instant heal) more quickly.

    the changes to revive as stated are fine.

    I would like to see super-damage DOT aura, click and it starts out just chewing threw stuff at a higher rate than burn for 7-10 seconds and fades like the rest of the incarnate powers to about the same damage/rate as a typical aura. Could be fire, ice, radiation, etc, with their respective secondary effects.

    Build-your-own would be full of win.

    Musings on SR

    I could see that only as a timed function (successful hit would trigger this function for 5-10 seconds then reset to regular probability and this recurring over the life of the activation) to avoid bad luck streaks, such that back-to-back large hits would be nagated and /SR could stay in high flack situations more effectively. Needed, no, but an interesting idea and I really like it.

    You might be able to get to that point if you use Shieldwall and Gladiator Armor, Gladiator Nets, FotG, etc sets in PVP (they give resists in PVP only), in addion to what you mentioned. That sounds good, but with the amount of buffs going around Leagues these days, I'm not trying anytime soon.
  15. If you franken-slot Mako's with Undermined Defenses and added assualt, RedFort, both -res procs, oblits, and slot a ranged with the dam from Apoc. Muscular to make up for slotting with Undermined Defences, Gaussian (or franken-slot adjusted targeting and encouraged acc)... I think you could get some good numbers just on that. (assuming that this isnt /fire or other set with auras and etc, and we're just talking set bonuses)

    I agree with the OP. I looked at the set a lot with /SR, after a while some of the "internal constraints" of it put me off because performance that I wanted wasnt there. PS not stacking and longish animations, etc. Performance from a damage/time stand-point really was difficult to push despite really trying.

    Umm... sorry you lost me, unless your censoring yourself, but I thought of doing that - I guess I'll try it. Getting at least a T3 for it shouldnt be that hard (only have the T3 for Diamag because I could care less about the -regen). Again its a work in progress so anything goes at this point. Thanks.

    Another for Stone/DM/BodyMastery (or w/e); sporting the following:
    Spirit Core Paragon T4
    Diamagnetic T3 100% -to-hit
    Rebirth Radial Epiph T4
    Seers T3
    Void Radial Judge T4

    My thoughs were to make the stone slab in "2001: A Space Odessey" that taunts everything by just standing there and being impervious. Its also a study in survivability. I'll look into Darkness mastery, tho. Thanks for that.

    Seriously, an easy way to solve this may be if you want to target all peeps for a buff then click on *yourself* in the team/league list, make an anouncement and buff. Otherwise target individuals. Possible?
  20. Possible:
    1. Just stop the flaming swords (alt animations pls): fire sword - make it an uppercut, FSC: whirling hands animation, GFS - Behemoth Hammerfist animation.

    2. Alternate animation to Kin Melee or at least the tier 9, can we have the stalkers AS animation? Ability to swap Kin Melee Torrent animation with kin melee focused blast (?) - they are the same lenth/time.

    3. Alternate animations to Midnight Grasp, maybe siphon life's so it looks like a, i dont know, a grasp!? At least an option to loose the tenticles. On the other hand, give MG the option of Soul Tenticle tinting. Siphon Life needs an alternate animation, maybe "Lift" from Gravity Controll or do the grab thing more quickly then a punch like scorch or pistol-whip/focus (the first action heals you the second is the damage). Just for theme reasons to get out of the Dark Sorcery hand waving stuff. DM could be more punchy.

    Impossible:

    I used to love Energy Melee before the ET nerf. *I DONT CARE ABOUT THE DPS* I like the flow of the set. EP, Barrage, ET, BS (in no particular order just let me pummle stuff freely... I liked that, I didnt have to worry about attack chains because the visual feel and animations were so interchangable the *FLOW* was nice. Maybe a reworked animations to kin melee would help, but it's a little slow.
  21. Heh, and if they could extend the range of dragon's tail, so that I could hit a foe with it after the are sent flying by crane kick then follow up with some ranged attack, I'd be in heaven.
  22. a strong ST attack (ranged vs melee based on branches of tree; preferrably usuable in an attack chain, but unlikely)
    a strong immobs/holds (ST vs AoE depends on branch of tree)
    a strong de-buff (lasting 5min then cooldown for 15 like Lore). Think Radiation infection and cold debuffs on steroids
    a buff powers of a single target (like fort or forge, etc)

    I understand the "god mode" for Omega, but likely a second Alpha-like slot (passive global).

    My dream would be to make a click or toggle power permanant, or make your own sig move, or (quite possibly) just an open slot that you decide what extra ipower to take: Want 2 judements? ok. Want barrier and rebirth, thats cool too.
  23. I dont know how well it would fill in holes, but if Void Radial judgements were used, the subsequent -dam might be helpful.
  24. In this game, no AT or power combination is ever "needed." Incarnates really make this point stand-out.
    A lot of /SR players thought this way when shields came out, too.
    Last, IMO, we currently have a content gap. Too many powers not enough things/challenges for them. If it were the reverse, too many would complain. Be patient. I think more challenges are ahead.

    DoT and Procs

    Araus dont hit as often so they're not as bad. Burn, in fire armor, and some "patch-powers" also is buffed quite a bit from this interesting mechanic (from what I understand).

    It is broken. If people hold the idea that "this is Incarnate power; deal with it" then my scrapper better get single target powers that have damages expressed in scientific notation like Steel Canyon Building Explosion and Kill Monster.
