San Diego Comic Con is a place of choice for City of Heroes®. We've been going there for several years now and have not only met many of our players that way, we've also spread the word amongst avid comic book fans and people like you and us who like a good super-powered game!

Well, guess what? We'll be back this year! Come and see us from Thursday, July 21 to Sunday, July 24 at the San Diego Convention Center, 111 W. Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA 92101, booth #5345, where the City of Heroes team will be available to show you the game or have a chat with. We will have representatives of the Community and Development team of Paragon Studios so don't miss out on this opportunity to talk to the people behind the game!

If this doesn't sound as sweet a deal as you'd expected, maybe you're wondering whether you'll be getting a costume code? Meet Mk-VI "Victoria", a deadly assassin that could soon be yours to impersonate!

To get your very own Mk-VI "Victoria" costume code, come and meet any representatives of the Paragon Studios™ Community team at the NCsoft booth #5345!

Stay tuned for more info, so we can tell you more about our NCsoft San Diego Meet & Greet on July 22, 2011 at the Hard Rock Hotel!

See you all in San Diego!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't SD ComiCon been sold out for months now? I'm glad you guys will be there again, but at this point you're only informing those that managed to get their hands on a pass before they were gone. I just checked the site and all 4 Day and single day passes are sold out.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Doesn't help people across the U.S. who would need to make plans in advance to travel (in my case the East Coast) there--for the very very slim chance you MIGHT get a returned ticket.

This announcement should have been released much, much earlier--like when they were FIRST planning on going--and possibly when there might have been some tickets still available.

To your first point, I never said it did, but I don't think the chance is as slim as you think, based on my experience.

And they go every year. It's safe to assume they will until they say otherwise, IMO.

Same with this years PAX west...hell I went last year and waited 45 minutes while they "looked for a code" but never found one.

Actually the returns start selling sometime in Mid June and they'll do them in batches over several days. Best to get on SDCC's Facebook and Twitter to find out when.

At SDCC 2010, the 4 Day + Preview Night passes for 2011 sold out on Sunday around noon at the con. I happened to buy mine just a couple of hours before they ran out. This year I'm buying mine for 2012 as soon as they make them available. Considering that you can get a full refund if you cancel before mid June, if you think you might be able to go you should grab a ticket if possible.

NCSoft has been at Comic-Con for at least the last five years running; it would be far better to assume that they would be there and plan accordingly -- you can always cancel travel and hotel reservations, and a membership can always be transferred to someone else.

Would you base a trip to a city on a chance to get a costume code or see a booth for a video game you already play and read its forums? This is a sincere question.

I'll keep poking Black Pebble about selling some of these costume codes or a costume pack for those of us who can't attend these things.

Oh well, another costume code I would love to have but Marketing won't sell it to me.

Last year they where at the New York Comic Con so I am guessing they might do that one again for the east coasters.

If you're willing to volunteer to help a vendor or other company in attendance you can get a pass for that day.

I know Mile High Comics is looking for people to help them load their trucks after the show loses on the last day....

Flargh! Over $1100 in plane tickets and hotel costs later, my girlfriend and I are definitely going to be there.

East coast to west coast travel is friggin' expensive, but only a cold, calculating murderbot could keep me away this year.

If that's for two people, $1100 isn't that bad. I'm flying out from PA and my flight alone is like $380. Then there's the $200+ per night hotel room for 5 nights...

Did you get tickets to the con?

Yeah, my girlfriend bought them in January. Before she was my girlfriend, even.

To save money, the hotel we're staying in is also 40 min away from the convention center in Escondido. I think a 40 min drive is worth saving $150 a night.

So the Meet and Greet is a ticketed event this year? And it's a joint M&G with the Guild Wars folks like the one in NYC last fall and Boston this spring?

That's... interesting.
