    Mostly because a "real world" threat made in an online game where both people are anonymous means absolutely nothing. There simply is nothing there to be offended about.

    Most of my characters only use one or two of them (mostly for the huge rech bonus most of those sets give)
  8. Heya folks, i'm thinking of making an Energy/Kinetics Corruptor and i was wondering if they are any good solo or whether Kin is pretty much a group powerset.
    How do they fare against EBs/AVs on their own, can they take most of them out like /Rad can or do they get swat like annoying bugs?
  9. Heya folks, this has probably been said already but i'd like to suggest making the "base portal" in bases function the same way like the outdoors*, giving you a list of locations to go except for "Your base" would be replaced with "Exit".
    This would also solve accidental clicks that toss you out of your base and allow you to more easily have "linked" bases/sections.
    Any thoughts?

    I was recently trying to get one of my cyborgs a "cowboy" look and then discovered he would have to lose the cybernetics in order to wear the trenchcoat!
    It should especially be possible on sleeveless jackets.

    More costumes would be nice, especially for heroes/villains that wear a costume with a helmet/mask - that takes up two slots already! ((gotta be able to take the helmet off now and then! :O))
    Not to mention the upcoming sudden influx of shapeshifters that Super Booster III will bring with it! :P

  13. It should work fine in attacks that drain end and give it to you though, Dark Melee's whateveritscalledagain and Fire's Consume for example.

    One of my zombie MMs is a mutant actually, his power manifested when he was killed - turning him into a living mass of negative energy.
    He animates his zombies by splitting off parts of himself and infusing corpses with them (so the zombies are all him too >.&gt.
    Another one that would work would be a kind of puppeteer who's powers work only on dead organic matter (like one of the villains in the Painkiller Jane tv series in case anyone's seen those).
  15. Yeah, there is - not so much on PuGs, but mostly in SG's - including some SG storylines (at least in the VG i'm in) and some personal ones of the characters.
    A while ago i ran with a few RP PuGs - it was fun and a great way to meet new people IC
  16. Heya folks, i was wondering what would be a good slotting of IO's for a Stalker's MoG.
    Frankenslot Def/Resist sets like LotG and Impervium Armor? Go for special IO's like Steadfast Res/Def, LotG +7,5% global Rech, Aegis Psionic + Mez resist?
    So many options and only 6 slots to go! (of course if i pick up Resilience i'll have another Resistance power to slot...)
    Oh, in case it may influence suggestions - i'm also Electric Melee

    Steadfast is a +3% defense (not resistance) bonus. The lookup table it uses is static across all ATs, as is the Gladiator's Armor +3% def unique.

    Interestingly, the Impervium Armor +Psi resist and Aegis +Psi/Status resist IOs have the same "scales by AT" lookup quirk.

    Ah, the Impervium Armor is the other scaleable one i was thinking of.
    Yeah, i knew Steadfast was defense not resistance - good to know about the tables though.

    If you want to min max it, you'd probably best off by just pulling either one of the end mod/acc or end mod/rech and slotting a vanilla end mod IO. That gets you to 95%+ end mod and retains the movement and hitpoint bonuses. The hitpoint bonuses are generally very desirable on a melee character unless you're already hitpoint capped in other ways (accolades, perma dull pain, tons of other hitpoint bonuses, etc.)

    1 Level 50 End Mod IO
    1 Level 50 Performance Shifter End Mod
    1 Performance Shifter Proc

    Nothing more - can't spare the slots for a 3rd end mod.

    Same here, and a 3rd End Mod IO's bonus is minimal anyway due to ED

  24. I might be mistaken here, but when i turned off XP last time i got the feeling i was getting the same amount of Inf as i was getting with it on... and not increased like when you are Malled/Exempted.
    So there really is no gain here then (except not leveling, but if you're after prestige there is no reason not to lvl).
    I could be mistaken though...

    At which point i will simply go buy them in the University - take that you greedy *beep*s!
