  1. Muscularate does not buff damage of procs (since proc damages can't be enhanced by enhacements) or hybrid assaults damage boost (since there is no damabe buff enahcement)

Pretty much things like this IIRC.

Alpha buffs those can be buffed with enhancements. Damage can be buffed with enhacements damage buffs can't (build up example) regen can be buffed by enahcements, +max HP can't (not total certain about this however) none of the damage procs can be buffed by enhancements even if it is global bonus.

I am not sure about debuff procs but I think they are not buffed by enhancements either.
  2. Read what you want think I understand you and my response. No thanks.

A system like this will have huge balancing issues, assuming that blanacing was done than your crafted IO's in some cases need to give less bonuses than others. No thanks.

For Secret World referance you can learn all skills in that too and its crafting system is rather what Tow wants but with alot of grinding for materials and with specific way of crafting.

Overall there is no crafting that is easy to make and free-formed otherwise there wouldn't be an economy in-games which people are why focusing on crafting. (especially in sandbox games)

It's six missions long (technically three, but the second one has four parts) and gives the same reward table as any of the Dark Astoria arcs.

Since the DA arcs only have five parts that grant that reward table (Max's arc has no reward at the end), but Gabriel is on a seven-day timer, you can use it as filler if you dont want to run any of the DA arcs a second time in a week.

Unlike the Dark Astoria arcs, however, its story is not self-contained. Since it's in Night Ward, it's part of the whole Pretorian storyline, and it's set as the second-to-last chapter of that story. It continues from the 30-39 Night Ward arcs (particularly in assuming you already know who Pendragon and Sir Bedwyn are), and some of the the events it sets in motion (including introducing two brand-new last-minute allies for Tyrant) are only concluded in the Magisterium Trial.
I maybe remembering wrong but IIRC Max's arc can give reward table if you complete all of its side quests. Admitedly I don't know about Ouroboros repeation of it. But if you don't do any of side quests and turn wrong place in the map you get a continous ambush I think like 10 or 15 wave which is good for thread drop and ixp.

I tried this before my scrapper. On the paper it looks like a viable way but soon I discovered vorpal was all I need as an opener and spring Attack was putting me in an awkward situation. Don't get me wrong it would work with an AoE heavy toon but katana is not the best choice out there for it.

For changes I had at least one more reason for to add Golden Dragonfly in your arsenal but you seem to be convinced.

For the brute part. Well I think you don't need to change AT but if you are going to, select a good place for your ATO. IIRC brute proc was only works from the power which it was slotted.
  5. All purple IO's are on beta market atm so any purple you don't see on live market has a chance to appear tomorrow. I think beta market also has almost all of rares so youcan expect some of them too.

So hey, I was looking at the Media Blitz patch notes, and apparently Cognitive and Degenerative received a 60% boost to their damage in that update. Their current scale is 0.1, where the other Interface procs are 0.125, so for a 60% boost to have taken place, they would have had to do scale 0.0625 damage.

Because... because why, exactly? Why would Fire do 0.125 and be coupled with a -Resist proc, but the Psionic and Toxic do 0.0625? Figure that one out.
How about because degenerative has better DPS for bosses and higher enemies? For pylon runs on my best reactive run i had 4 min 30 second time and with degenerative my worst was 3 min 55 second. I can't talk about cognitive but if you ask me this is enough reason for balancing issues.
  7. For my kat/SR scrapper main, most of the 50+ enemies are my favored but I actually like beating malta guys. I am not sure why but being a natural hero himself he gets ticked about malta's "Supers will be doom of planet so lets get rid of them" view. His ticking gets worse when he become incarnate and actually become a "Super"

Well like everything else in the game it was not designed to be always on. Which is kinda stupid. I would like it to be transparent however since I can't play with small maps anyway.

Skipping the heavy hitters was deliberate, though arguably a bad choice. It looks a lot worse than the standard defensive chain on paper, but in practice, the damage isn't that far behind on something like a pylon. I specifically wanted to avoid the way that Soaring Dragon can reposition enemies. I worry that chasing or switching targets can occasionally cause a Divine Avalanche unstack. It would also slightly reduce damage output. I'm thinking in groups, that might make the damage output even out. I also wanted a chain with a more comfortable Divine Avalanche overlap than the typical defensive chain (which is just over 10 seconds, and that's assuming you're glued to a single target). I do give up some active mitigation in the form of knockup/down, but that's only on a single target. Mind you, even mitigating a single target COULD make a difference here, but so could keeping Divine Avalanche better stacked while moving around and changing targets. I've played both chains. I still haven't decided which one works better for me.
Umm there is no soaring dragon in the attack chain I posted. I know ST attack chain is GC-SD-GC-GD but I used an AoE one in dark Astoria (and was using it in AE) and even if you don't get fliashng steel its place can be easily filled with Gamblers cut, divine avalanche or sting of the wasp.

I will DEFINITELY keep that in mind in case of a repeat of last night.

We actually re-started the TF after that first mission because nobody knew we could mess with the difficulty.
It was not a new thing. A couple of things are new however. In old days when you can only set difficulty there was a way to make some misions easier by making peole log out except one who will be opening whole map than whole team were plowing through a map that was designed for one player.

In current system however although you can set difficulty between missions as you like you can't change how much people in the team lower than that TF's minimum ( For example for STF all missions spawn as if team is 8 no matter what is your setting or how many people are left in the team)

Better to do worse against enemies I don't have as much problem with, and better against those that can kill me more often than I'd like. Hmmm.

Well, a friend wants to go red side and back. I might as well at least get myself the option to go Leviathan.
I did whole DA arc with my kat/SR scrapper +4x8. Admitedly i didn't had much problem with most of the arc only problems were EB spawns at last cim mish and Black Scorpion who was spawned as an AV (and let me tell you he hurts alot) From your build I see you have none of your katana's heavy hitters. I used attack chain of FS-LD-FS-GD and allthough it is not best attack chain it is fast and let you have breathing room in front of you. It can be easily made as GC-LD-GC-GD but GD is an important element nonetheless.

I had T4 musculurate, T4 rularuu, T4 degenerative (degen is more effective against bosses and EB's because its debuff works better against minions and liuets however reactive is better because its DoT has higher damage), T4 rebirth (I was exchanging elude with rebirth+conserve power and surprsingly surviving long enough to retoggle), T4 vorap (this and rularuu are totally personalflavour but vorpal has a wide range and with luck it cleans minions, leavingliuts withlittle health and drop bosses 3/4rd of their health)
  12. Well I am not sure about toxic much but psionic is one of cliche comic book powers and it is one of that can be varied without strecthing concept too thin so it is no surprise it is not as uncommon as ice or negative energy which are basicly very limiting concept-wise.It can be said for fire too but fire is flashy enough to cover its concept and energy is basicly fits to everything that does not in one of other types. We don't see toxictype of characters much in comic books because almost every hero have a way to overcome it. I think only villian i can think of that was using poison as primary weapon was Cobra from marvel.

I wonder what would happen if we suddenly had a preatorian, nemesis, rikti, zombie, rularuu invasion in the same zone :P

If you purchased them than they are staying with you. Though IIRC you need to reopen them one by one.
  15. I myself made a spines/bio on beta as a nature origin character choosing thorns options from spines making it mostly green and white. It turns out surprisingly well looking.

You can try claws for a similiar concept.

Martial arts, street justice, kinetic melee (behold the power of photosynthesis :P) can be used without making too much changes on your concept.

Dark melee can be used for a vampiric concept of character especially in later part bio armor effect your foes and with DNA siphon actually fit to concept.

Weapons except katana and dual blade can be used for a gladiator theme since most of set looks like gladiator armors.

For katana and dual blades I don't have really any good ideas except being trained in the way of sword and had a little acident that gave the biological armor (not that others are not cliche's as well but they can be turned into something else too I don't have a particularly good concept for these two however)

Electric melee maybe you are a mutant or mutated into someone produce electricity in your body and your body (or help with science you or a friend) developed bio armor to prevent you go out of control.

For staff fightning only thing that comes to my mind is a Daredevil which had a gamma explosion accident..................yup bad idea :P

If it is enhanceable with a healing enhancement than yes it also increase those if not than no. I vaguely remember that none of the +max hp powers can be enhanced with enhacements but I am not certain.

This is a big difference in terms of dps...
Hmm I need to check this but I remember a couple of weeks ago it was working like it may miss a few checks than fire again so if it is cancel-on-miss it is new.

Nope Prometheus explicitly mentions that ascension severs your ties with your well and race while droping their collective potential dramatically in one of his dialogues and only selected few should be ascend in the guidance of his organisation.

For MoT reference it is not mentioned if it is connected to our well or not but it was using our wells collective potential by stealing peoples and incarnates potential to ascend.

My suspicion is that the cycle we're seeing here has repeated itself over the centuries:
    • the "potential" awakens, bringing with it a new age of heroes
    • these heroes do great things, inspire legends and battle among themselves.
    • the greatest powers become incarnate, and the greatest of these ascend.
    • the ascended ones become so powerful that their wars threaten all mortals.
    • as humanity becomes too dependent on the ascended (relying on the gods) their own "collective potential" diminishes and the well goes into a more dormant state.
    • some seek to destroy those ascended (perhaps that era's equivalent of malta). The dagger of Jocas is an artifact from one of these, as is the god-killer sword.
    • some seek to banish the ascended gods to the spirit world,
    • some benevolent ascended may even voluntarily go so humanity can again develop its own potential.
    • a few lesser powers stay behind, but don't directly intervene with humanity (the furies, as portrayed in the novel?)
    • eventually, a new heroic age emerges and the cycle repeats.
One problem is that ascension severs your ties with your well and with your race so people not become too dependant on ascendeds they become dependant on incarnates (Zeus was an incarnate not an ascended since his power returned to well, MoT was trying to ascend which suggests that he was also an incarnate or similiar being not an ascended there for implying that ascended are gods is wrong) which increase that incarnates powers but to ascend it requires mroe than that.
  21. Funny I started as resistance than used find contact button to get into loyalist arcs and I have the option to call Calvin Scott a couple of times and it never failed like how did you describe. Mind you I didn't switched sides but after a certain event (first morality event and I choose resistance again) the orange text stoped to show up for quiet awhile evbenthough I am doing loyalist missions.

Taunt is not part of passive boost so like you stated it is pretty much useless %50 up time one. Also lets see which melee AT's don't have a taunt mechanics scrappers and stalkers. Both always have more room for more damage rather than taunt.

if your just going for general gameplay (mostly fighting minion through boss) then any of them will work great and you should get something to either cover a weakness or play to a strength
nope DoT's maximum stack is 6 unless they changed it.
