If button-space is limited, you could also try setting up some bind files to change the attack used each time you press a button. I don't have the exact commands for this (it was on my old PC that had a harddrive crash), but it was something like this:
Lets say we want an attack chain with four attacks that goes Power Bolt -> Power Blast -> Power Bolt -> Power Burst -> repeat. We want this all on button1.
Make four files, named attack1.txt - attack4.txt, in a folder coh_binds. These all have one line in them. (Again, I'm not positive this is the exact syntax since it's been a while since I used it. Hopefully it's good enough to show how it works at least.)
attack1.txt:
button1 "powexec_name Power Bolt$$bind_load_file c:\coh_binds\attack2.txt"
attack2.txt:
button1 "powexec_name Power Blast$$bind_load_file c:\coh_binds\attack3.txt"
attack3.txt:
button1 "powexec_name Power Bolt$$bind_load_file c:\coh_binds\attack4.txt"
attack4.txt:
button1 "powexec_name Power Burst$$bind_load_file c:\coh_binds\attack1.txt"
Finally, manually bind button1 to load one of these files to get the combo going.
Each time you press the button it loads the next file and rebinds the button to the next attack. However, be aware that if you button mash faster than the attacks can activate, you can skip over attacks.
For a gamepad with four face buttons, you could setup a blaster this way with one "melee" button with blaps, one "ranged" button, one "AoE" button, and one "powerup" button with Buildup and aim. -
You could try a "mace blaster" Bane Spider, if you play Villains.

So basically, people who are drama timebombs will continue to be drama timebombs, and the rest of us will carry on.

Oddly enough, I just had someone badmouth single-target blasters for the first time last week.
I joined a PUG Positron task force with a hover-blapper. The leader made a comment about single-target blasters, but kept me on the team as filler.
During the Circle of Thorn missions, I kept hovering over the Agony Mages' earthquake and trapping them in knockdown/blap combos. Around half way through the TF, the leader sent me a tell to apologize.
So that's my warm-and-fuzzy story of the day. -
The first thing I do:
Notice the character named "asdlljsadfkl" standing right next to where the new characters appear, and sigh. -

> What is the most Chaotic Combo?
Ninja / Trick Arrow mastermind. Find an outdoor location with enemies all around, where you can stand in the middle. Put pets on aggressive. Drop and light an oil slick in the middle of your pets.
Try it. -
Hi all, just thought I'd give an update.
I took your advice and stayed out of Cimerora. For a while, the swelling seemed to die down a bit. The itch was intense but I avoided the urge. I thought the worst was over, so I finally caved and stepped back into Cimerora. But then the enlargement hit me like a lightning bolt, and now it's worse than ever!
Is there anything I can do? Or is it already too late? I'm having a lot of difficulty hiding this from my family now. Do you think we can get a support group going?
Thanks. -
Darn, I thought this topic was about potato chips.
-
Things were more fun back when you could slot the chance to stun proc in stamina and randomly dizzy yourself.
-
Thanks guys, that seems to work.
By all means, carry on thread-jacking this into a toke jopic.

Either this is something new or I haven't been paying attention. How do I get rid of that giant useless compass that blocks the entire upper left of the map?
So far I've tried browsing the game options and searching here, but as I'm sure you can imagine all I get are unrelated topics. -
With the new difficulty settings, I've been playing my high level AoE blasters solo with large groups of enemies. Inspirations drop like candy, at least a couple every group. I've found that I can keep one purple going pretty much non-stop (or get enough other types to combine into purples). So basically, as long as I keep moving I can keep myself softcapped with only 32.5% "real" defense, making up the remainder with a purple inspiration.
Not sure if it will work for everyone, but I find it works for me. -
Doesn't Shield Defense have a team +defense power?

Quote:One thing to remember about Voltaic Sentinel is that it cannot be targeted by enemies. Anything it aggros will retaliate in your direction. Not sure if that effects your desire for how much AoE love it's spreading around.Give VS a second attack that has a small chain lightning effect. Problem solved?
Although if boosting Sparkey is the way to go, consider adding Lightning Field. Now that would be pretty. -
Quote:What makes you think the base recharge would need to be increased that much? Will the blaster version of Cosmic Burst have it's recharge increased over the defender version? The problem with increasing Tesla Cage's damage is that it wouldn't really do much to fulfill the "tier 3 blast" role because the base recharge would probably be somewhere near 20 seconds, which isn't really fast enough to make it a reliable contributor to an attack string.

Quote:I would also strongly recommend that you pick up Op Gloom. It costs almost no endurance, and takes all minions--except Stun resistant ones--out of the fight altogether. Used in combination with the SM attacks that Stun (Stone Fists, Fault) it will even Stun bosses. I think picking up Fault would be a good idea because of that.
This.
In my opinion, Fault + Oppressive Gloom is pretty much the whole point behind Dark/Stone. Insane stun stacking and knockdowns everywhere mean you rarely even get attacked. -
Quote:It's my second favorite power to joust with. The first being Inferno.
What is Fire Sword Circle for?
Nothing says love quite like FOOM from across the room. -
That's an entertaining combo. There's nothing more hilarious than a bunch of enemies standing around in a damage field with no endurance to attack you. Although some enemies will just run around instead of stick around.

Quote:Which brings us back to point number 1: Holding power names to a higher standard than character names. What happens to to people who (use your imagination) in character names? Why would that be any different than power names? They probably don't (although they'd find it stupid).
I could easily come up with more offensive power names than PWNURMOM but why get myself modsmacked by proving how offensive I can be? Let your imagination run wild with things that could slip through the filter and let PWNURMOM serve as its placeholder.
