Well, my promise to create a mini isit hotinhere has come to fruition - just gotta find the cable to attach my blackberry to my desktop so i can upload the extemely dodgy pic.

Just arrived at the office after a 60 mile 'trek' through a blizzard in Reading. COuld possibly build a snowman at the office, but leaving lunchtime to head home again, as it's supposed to get worse during the day.

I have the same. My toon wil pull out either staff (both available as i chose 'the other one' as my 54th Month Vet reward.

I can't move for a few seconds, can still be hit, etc then he/she moves again after 2/3 seconds. And yes, agree with FFM, annoying as hell.

SO if a rumour about updating engines to the Aion engine for the next incarnation of COH is true.. Could those lovely locks finally sway in the wind?

Scary thing for me is i've never used mids and only ever slot the standard IO's, none of this new-fangled enhanced IO malarcky where you things add a percentage to 3 different attributes on one IO...

Am I challenged, or is it A challenge. Before others answer for me I'd say the latter occasionally but even then, it's fine

I'd only look to slot the enhanced IO's if i wanted to seriously play the game to it's max potential, which i don't. I enjoy the way i play and hope others find me enjoyable to play with

Just for the record - having only just seen this thread :

I was playing union villains a lot of the time yesterday and didn't have any problems.

SLI mode with 2 nVidia cards, doesn't work well with City of X ? (Villains mostly as that's what i've been playing lately).

2x 880GT's in SLI Mode. noticed it over the the last 2 weeks mostly as that's when i started playing Villains more than normal, to push for a 50 on the red side.

I'll take it out of SLI Mode tonight to test, but wondered if anyone knew if it was common knowledge that you get slow down in game in SLI mode villain side. I do understand Villains uses more umph (non technical term, obviously) when it comes to graphics, as blue side has been fine prior to switching to the red side.

or.. (and i always seem to reference Dark Age of Camelot in these cases as that's the other game i played for 5 years) mob trophy heads, (ala deer head trophies).

Defeat the Lusca, get the trophy head to put in your base. (smaller version obviously)

Defeat 300 Arachnos spiders, have a trophy for your base... or 3000 combined throughout your SG toons, gets the reward added to whoever can edit the base.

Fireblazer, i wonder if BT broadband don't allow patching, then. I tried on my fathers for I13 download around the same time of day (Tiscali Broadband) it worked fine, i come home (BT Broadband) and find patching on my 2nd PC, takes forever..

My assumption therefore is that BT no matter what throttle ports in some way, for sure, during peak time.

/bug will flag the issue to our QA team to check. /petition is what you need to get a support response. Sending multiple petitions will not speed up getting a response. In fact, it does the reverse: it slows the system down because of multiple duplicate entries that all need to be looked at by our staff.

sorry should've made it clear - i only 'bug'ged and 'petition'ed [u]once[u] and waited 15-30 minutes before the GM completed the mission for me.

I had this exact thign once, too. I got a GM (not giant monster) to assist by completing the mission for me, after about 15-30 mins of '/bug'ging '/petition'ing it.

I had the same (through BT Broadband) although i was getting a tiny bit faster at 3.2k a second on 6mb broadband I restarted the updater a few times but nothing made it go faster. It was done by 11pm in the end, so i logged in, check my day job badge progression and logged out again, ready for this evening.

Thanks for the info about choosing a port though, that's good to know for future.

Thay're ok, if you are attacking all mobs at once. It doesn't take aggro, unless there's more than one mob and you've not hit or held the 2nd and subsequent.

So, solo on heroic or equiv on red side, is perfect. anything more and it gets killed incredibly easily

How about night time in Talos Island, south area... Good place for the Bantheon bosses (defeat x amount badge) there too.

I like the idea.

I would also welcome an idea of (as Dark Age of Camelot once had) - once you have a level 50, being able to create a character from Level 20.

I think we should get a 5 year 'cake' emote as well... like the cup of tea emote but eating a piece of cake or something...
