Quote:um... it's perfectly clear. It uses the word "subscription". If you're not paying a monthly (or quarterly, annual, etc) fee, you're not subscribed.I have noticed that it says that you have to have had an active subscription between a certain timeframe ending at March 31st. What I need to know is, does that mean an active account or does it mean you actually have to have been a VIP during that time? That needs to be written more clearly.

Quote:Sorry, but wrong. Soul Mastery having white effects is not a problem and it will not be changed. It's like that for a reason. The effects come from Ghost Widow's powers. And you can't change it because it's not YOUR power. It's a PATRON power. You have been granted the power by Ghost Widow.Hmmm. Considering shoving all my darkness powers over to white. It looks like another "This can never be done, it takes smartsy people payed to do jobs" problem.

Well, here we are back at the beginning!
Since there always seems to be someone who isn't sure they'll get their new character to level 10 in time, we'll do the Sewer Trial first. So you just have to get CLOSE to level 10 by Saturday. Here's hoping we don't end up with an All-Staff-Melee team.

Death From Below AKA The Sewer Trial
Level 1+
Requires 4 to start.
Uses the LFG system to start.
This trial gives a temp power to boost either accuracy, damage, recovery or defense (you get to pick). The buff lasts 7 days or until you hit level 22.
Positron TF part 1
Level 10+
Requires 3 to start.
Contact is in Steel Canyon.
1. Ironblade - Probably Capt Tom Tachyon, a level 7 time/rad defender.
Whoa! Deja vu! I cut and paste from the message I posted on October 31, 2011 for the last time we ran this.
1. Ironblade - Either Dark Lord Darkness (dark/dark controller) or Fists of Furry Fury (SR/StJ tank)
2. Elllls - maybe Tributary (WP/staff tank)
3. AngelicaVenger - Speaks Softly (staff/something) - That's two!
4. Asgardian Blade - maybe Asgardian Razor (brute)
5. Saint Jon - sumthin'
6.

Quote:So, your argument is that it MIGHT be?And I just repeat this so it doesn't get lost:
My argument has never been that they "should" compensate us, but that it might be good business sense to do so.
umm.... The position you're arguing is "maybe"?
Reminds me of The Neutrals from Futurama, "I have no strong opinion one way or the other." -
Two thoughts:
1) Is the crafting screen one of the screens that has an option to hide all recipes that you don't have the salvage for?
2) Are you perhaps using an arcane worktable and looking for a tech item? -
Well, that sounds broken. You're right that it's not a 'badge mission' so it should work for the flashback badges. I'd file a bug report.

Quote:Yes, they said Celestial is going away and being replaced by the mecha set. If you want a citation, go find it.If someone claims something is confirmed as a developer decision, yes. I do demand they quote it if only because things like this lead to rather interesting reactions.
Quote:That and I'm lazy. -
Quote:It doesn't need to be a "single mission" arc to not give the flashback badges. It needs to be a 'badge mission'. For example, "The Redemption of Alexander" is a 3-mission arc, but it's a 'badge mission' (Redeemer badge) so it is not eligible to earn flashback badges.I believe that that "single mission" arcs do not count for these badges, that's a possible solution.

Quote:Guess how much liability they have if their software causes my computer to animate and attack me with an axe. Yeah, I can come up with ridiculous questions, too. This is absolutely true that at the current time, Pando doesn't do anything bad.
However, guess how much liability Pando or NCSoft have if they release a buggy update of PMB that uploads all your banking information to the wild? -
Started keeping track, due to this thread.
Ran the entire arc: 5 commons, 1 rare. -
Quote:Since I have never bought an enhancement of any type from the Paragon Market, can someone tell me what these Performance Shifters cost? I'm curious as to whether this lawyer comment is as stupid as I suspect.Honestly, I really don't even know who to contact for this type of issue as it really isn't something that has happened before. As the community's liaison to Paragon, I figured I'd start with Zwillinger but that's been a bust so far. If not Zwill then who? A lawyer?

Quote:Yeah, that's definitely going to slow you down. The fast way to get progress as an 'incarnate' is from the incarnate trials.... which mainly get run in the evening. The solo route in Dark Astoria works, just more slowly.I tend to be more of a solo player...there isn't a lot of server load during the morning/day when I play on the east coast.
Regarding the Alpha slot, though, you have two options. You can go the 'shard' route or the 'thread' route. Threads and the related salvage are the only method for 4 of the 5 incarnate slots (Interface, Judgement, Lore, Destiny). Shards and the related salvage only work for the Alpha slot. But, the Alpha can ALSO use threads.
Personally, I would save your threads for the other 4 slots and use shards for the Alpha slot. This is because you're going to get shards anyway. You can only get threads from 'incarnate content' (Dark Astoria or incarnate trials). You can get shards from EVERYTHING ELSE. When you defeat any enemy that is your level or higher (and not in 'incarnate content') there is a chance to get a shard.
Your main goal is generally to get your Alpha slot to tier 3 because that gives you a "level shift". Instead of being just level 50, you're 50+1. For reward calculations, etc you're 50. But for combat, you're treated as level 51 and it makes a big difference against tough enemies. To get your Alpha slot to tier 3, you'll need 40 shards and one 'Notice of the Well'.
You can get a Notice by doing the Weekly Strike Target - this is one task force / strike force that changes each week. Currently, it's the Numina TF on blueside and Ice Mistral SF on redside. Doing one of these (between now and Monday - it changes every Tuesday) will give you a Notice of the Well, in addition to the regular rewards. Alternatively, you can do the Mortimer Kal SF, which will give you a power called the Flames of Prometheus. The buff stops working at high levels, but you can trade it in for a Notice of the Well. You'll need to team to get a Notice but, generally speaking, you'll only ever need one for each character. -
Well, the defender version of Darkest Night is absolutely brutal - makes a huge difference. The brute Soul Mastery version is about 55% the effect, so I'd say it's enough to make a very noticeable difference in combat. Both are 25' radius and affect up to 16 targets.
defender
-18.75% to hit
-37.5% damage
brute
-10.5% to hit
-21% damage
Both sets you mention give you an immobilize attack. It looks like you'd be giving up some damage for the debuffs. If this was a build for farming, that wouldn't be good. If your goal is 'tanking', this is good. "General game play" is kind of vague, but you know best what you'll be doing with the character. -
Quote:I tried Googling "dog launcher" but that only got devices to launch balls for dogs to chase. Surprisingly, searching on "dogapult" gave better results.I tried Googling 'dog weapon' for a quick search to see if anyone anywhere at any time ever pondered this idea. Apparently not. Using dogs as weapons though...

It does. My impression was that the previous poster was indicating at what levels you could participate, so I corrected it in the same fashion. I don't recall the level but, since it's in Bloody Bay, I would guess it's 25.

Quote:Oh, and that means a lot. If you go to Google and start typing "is Obama" the first search that comes up is "is Obama a Muslim".and note that both Google and Bing have immediate related searches of Pando Media Booster Spyware and Pando Media Booster Malware.
So.. um... people are stupid. -
Quote:And? Are you implying that there *IS* some costume item that will have an impact when forming trials and they should use the last anchor point for that? The anchor point pertains ONLY to costumes and has no impact on game mechanics. If you have a better use to suggest, please do. But to mention trial teams is just being silly.Metaphorically speaking, if there was only 1 anchor point left, I'd choose something else over this. I don't have very many female toons and honestly, no ones going to be paying attention to your hair ladies. When a trial is being formed I'm not going to look around at people thinking "oh hey, I like their hair".

15-50.
To the OP:
In my opinion, you should check the forum section for your server to see if there is a list of the active global channels. If not, post and ask. I do most of my teaming from my global friends, supergroups or the global channels. The only time I hang out in a general gathering place for content is for the Incarnate Trials (level 50 VIP content). -
-
In fact, there is one. Paragonwiki has a definitions page that includes a boatload of acronyms.
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Acronyms
(I actually typed acronyms in the search and it redirected.) -
Quote:Yes. Any VIP can pay rent.
Not entirely sure WHY it happens to be set up this way. But there ya go.
In order to pay rent for a supergroup, you must:
1) Be a member.
2) Be VIP.
3) Be of sufficient rank. (The rank requirement can be adjusted at will.) -
hmm.... Typing in chat is just typing text. Technically, everything else you do from the keyboard involves keybinds. It sounds as if all of your default keybind settings are getting wiped. I'm not at my gaming system, but there is an option in the Menu, under Keybinds, to reset them all. See if that fixes it.
-
hmm... sounds like you're not actually familiar with the set. My main is broadsword/regen and is incredibly tough. I would prefer that the regen set not be touched. Not even slightly.
