The XP bonus for the WST *ONLY* applies to the end of mission bonus. It doesn't apply to critter XP at all.

If you actually believe that is always true, then we can't even have a good debate. Do you really think every company updates their web site in a timely fashion? The posted system requirements are out of date. Ask around if you want corroboration, but don't just parrot the company line again and again.


Absolutely wrong. Some trials are more stressful on computers than others. Just check the forums to see how many people complain specifically about the warehouse map in the Lambda Trial.

That's a very common power. Lots of heroes and villains have theme music that follows them.

Firstly, it is fair. You may not like it but, if everyone has the same odds, it's fair.
Second, there is randomness THROUGHOUT The game. When you defeat an enemy, it's random *IF* you get a drop and *WHAT* you get.
And, of course, hitting in combat is random.
If you don't want randomness, go play chess. Games like this are built around random results.

And someone can take you on a tour of a base built by someone else.

If I know that there is going to be a large patch, I leave the launcher running when I go to work. That way, it downloads the patch while I'm out. This is important to me since my "broad"band sucks.


And this is different from every other piece of software in existence in what way? If someone has trouble with the launcher, tech support works with them to try to get it to work. If you can't get it to work, you're hosed. I had that happen with an anti-malware product. Absolutely could not get it to work even after 3 full uninstall/reinstalls at the behest of tech support. I ended up going to another product. It happens. No software is perfect.


It was broke. The old launcher sucked. Unfortunately, the new launcher is not an unconditional improvement. It also has issues.

You mean if they had done it the way YOU want. You're not in a position to judge if it was done correctly (i.e. to maximize income in the long-term). Neither am I.

Nonsense. Their stated minimums are out of date while the "baseless suppositions" are up-to-date evaluation from people who play the game daily. If you go by the posted minimums, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

There is a good reason and it does make good business sense. Plenty of people felt that the lack of high-end raid content was a serious flaw with the game. By introducing that type of content, they widen the appeal of the game. Please note, they did not REMOVE any solo content in the process.

It's partly concept, partly what you're accustomed to. I have characters with no travel power because I wanted other stuff. I have some who take a travel power very late, because they wanted other stuff earlier, I have some with two travel powers.

I wouldn't say that I "work hard" to skip travel powers, though. With Ninja Run and the 2 jump packs, it's practically a default option for me. Unless a travel power actually fits the character concept, why take one at all?
