I never got why they cut this scene from the movie. I went to the theatres with like 15 people no joke and we all were wondering what the F happened to Saruman. Well we had to wait for the extended version to release on DVD.

But where is the music coming from? This only raises further questions!

Yeah it's not near what happened in the book... but I can see why they changed it.

That's a very common power. Lots of heroes and villains have theme music that follows them.

eh upon rewatching it, it does follow some of the original flow, not exactly of course, and the location is, of course, off but the scene is not fully shown in the trolling vid, saruman still gets his justice from who gave it to him in the books, and that seems to be the central theme of saruman's arc.

I think my favorite part of this has to be that almost everybody has this really uncomfortable look on their faces...everybody but Aragorn...who somehow, has GOTTEN the joke!

He's just sitting there, that sorta half-concealed smile, he's enjoying this.

I saw that as a grim smile of admiration for one's foe, "Well played, evil wizard... well played."
