my coh client hard locks everytime i try to use chat on baf.

Two questions:
1) By "chat", you mean typing in the chat window and not a voice chat program, right?
2) Do all channels lock you up? Local? Broadcast?

I mean if i press enter to type anything my screen freezes and i have to control alt delete the program.

Weird. Try this: activate the chat window by clicking in it with the mouse, then type something and hit enter. At what point does it lock up?
