  1. Here's mine now that Mids has been repaired of some bugs with procs. Follow Through and Whirling Smash could eventually get Purple sets and the Alpha would most likely be Agility.

    Best Taunt aura?

    Autohit/debuff auras like CE are better as I believe debuffs generate more threat than damage. CE also has multiple debuffs (-move, -rech, -dmg).

    Against All Odds is also a good aura for the same reasons as CE, and it is the only aura I've ever had to fight for aggro with on my Icer.

    Tankers don't get Energy Aura, but Entropic Aura now seems to be a decent aggro aura. My New TW/EA Brute has been the one stealing aggro from other Brutes and Tanks on various TFs.

    Willpower's RttC "should" be a good aura, but IIRC, it's taunt durations and rate of ticks are smaller that CE or AAO. Slotting some Taunt duration IOs in it should help out, if you choose to stick with WP.
  3. Here's an alternative. Sacrifices a bit of recharge but no longer relies on Defensive Sweep for the melee defense. With T4 Agility Core, the build gets 32.7% defense to melee/range.

    Tactics can probably be dropped from this build, but I put it in to show where the Acc values would be with the kismet proc as it isn't displaying properly in Mids (along with some other procs, like Regen. Tissue). Dropping it for whatever else should be fine.

    With just Kismet, attack Acc for all except Lightning Field should be ~95% to +4s. With the Regen Tissue, regen should be ~244% or ~1% hp/sec.

    Without Agility, you're looking at 31.4% def. Something to think about as the build is extremely hungry for end, which makes Cardiac far more useful, imo.

    Last thing, powers like Energy Drain (Energy Absorption from Ice Armor) love Membrane HOs. Two of those and a couple end/end and end/rech IOs and it's golden.

    By all means squeeze a travel power in. The build I posted was for my own elec/ice stalker that I started and I don't build with travel powers as I feel they are unnecessary.

    You revised build is still lacking - mainly in your underslotting of attacks. Getting your defense numbers is great and all, but rather pointless if your attacks don't land, take forever to recharge, or drain your endurance after the first couple volleys.

    Less slotting on your defenses, more in your offenses. You could easily cut back on the s/l defense, too. That's what lucks/EA are for.

    Depends on the rest of your build and how much other global recharge you have. The Alpha can replace a slot, though.

    If it makes the OP happy, my Earth/Time troller has perma Hasten with just the base slot. >.>

    45% is the softcap for defense in non Incarnate content, which you hit with your original build (think it was 48% total).

    I also mentioned in my post that going with 32.5% and nomming on lucks is a viable method as 1 luck should last you 1-2 spawns as it lasts me 1 spawn on my SO build.

    You also don't 'need' purples even if you can afford to use them. With the build I posted, 2 Siphon Speeds will make Hasten perma and you should be running at a pace where you're consistently double or even triple stacking SS. Earth's Embrace is also perma, meaning you're running around with capped HP the whole time so even if you forget to eat a luck or some hits get through, you've got a buffer.

    Going with this method also means you can slot more damage into your attacks, making sure you're capped on damage when you use FS (a fully saturated FS only gives 240% +dmg - making up that 60% is easy with slotting and gives you another buffer for when you don't saturate FS).

    At the end of the day, though, it's the OP's choice. Either build methodology is viable. Just depends on how much you want to invest in a character whose purpose is to help your alts achieve a higher level of investment.

    TW/Elec - weave?

    Getting positional defense is more comprehensive than just s/l because positional protects from almost all damage types.

    That being said, I've found it better to skimp on the AoE defense in favor or Melee and Range. AoE attacks are generally weak so Ela's resists would take care of it.

    This is how I did it on my Ela/Ma tanker. 30% m/r and working on getting that glad armor 3% but with storm kick I get bumped up to 40% m/r.

    Also it is a bit harder to do with a brute because of the lower mods on CJ and Weave.
  14. Seismic Smash!

    I have a fire/kin that's running on SOs (F2P acct to PL my main) and I'm also running Stone Mastery. Rock Armor, Weave, Maneuvers, and CJ get me 32.5% s/l def so I just run around with that and a tray of Lucks in the Council Empire mission.

    One Luck lasts be one mob. With an IO build you should be able to do two mobs per luck.

    I would do something similar to this if I was able to use IOs on my F2P acct.

  15. As has been said, take everything except the T9 from EA - the +def is redundant on a softcapped build but the +hp is still quite useful.

    On mine I'm taking all of the TW powers except Taunt. That's the gameplan anyway. Might change once Mids is updated.

    Probably going to add things in like tough/weave, CJ or Hover, and Hasten. Maneuvers is also a high possibility with Energy for epic pool.

    Build goals... Softcapping, which is easy to do for s/l/e/n/f/c. Then getting in +hp, +rech, +regen, and some +recovery.

    Energy Drain doesn't give as much +def as Energy Absorption from Ice Armor does, but I'm still going to slot it the same as I do on my Ice tank. 2 membranes, and End/Endmod and a Rech/Endmod IO.

    This is one of the reasons I started it. The other was it being useful across all of your characters, which are each bound to be using different powers within each slot.

    The original code I'm using also has commented out spots for the other powers. Just no telling how many of the remaining iPowers will be clicks.

    I did make one correction before I posted it in the OP. I was missing 'Improved' in some of the Lore powers. If you guys find any other typos or broken parts, please let me know.

    I do not, unfortunately. You can use a bind or a macro to bring it up. It's just a menu box similar to what's in game for the quickchat menu or the new Collection menu (formerly badges).

    Based on the code, all that's visible would be:

    Then you just push the corresponding number and you will use whatever power you have equipped for that category.

    I don't have an extensive collection of Incarnate powers to test with, but for the ones I do have it's worked.
  18. The order in which powers were taken doesn't make a whole lot of sense and the slotting doesn't really give clues as to what you were shooting for with the build. Try my current build for my Ice/Ice/Soul. GIS is teh suck. It's is better to get an Epic pool blast to fill out a single target attack chain. Frost, Freezing Touch, and Frozen Aura should be slotted mainly as attacks. The winter's gift slow res IO is redundant with your shields, permafrost, and EA giving you a total off 100% slow/rech resists.

    Do take notice how I have shield toggles slotted. It's the easiest way I have found to softcapping Ice/Ice.

    It's an expensive build, but not purple/pvp expensive.

  19. Posted this in the thread that explains popmenus but wasn't sure how much traffic that got so I'm posting this here to share with everyone.

    It's a popmenu that includes all of the current Lore, Destiny, and Judgement powers so you can use it for all of your characters.

  22. I have an Earth/Time. It is very good at controlling and buffing/debuffing mainly since you have 4 powers that are location based AoEs. Only downside with it is being quite weak on damage. Once you get the pet, epic pools, and maybe some damage procs that turns around a bit.

    Can't post my build right now but I can tell you it has perma hasten, chrono shift, and indomitable will. Something like 230% global recharge in the planned build
  23. I'd say get at least 32.5% s/l defense and then work on getting energize perma. Chasing melee and range defense is also an option with the T1 attack giving melee defense.

    Level 22 is the lowest you can go. At least with some sets and whether or not you feel comfortable using level 25 IOs. At some point I'm planning on this with my own Mind/Psi.
