Build suggestions for Titan/Energy?

Just rolled a Brute Titan Weapons/Energy Aura. I could use some suggestions as I rarely play Brute and never did Energy Aura before. Since Titan is new, I'm a bit in the dark.

There are a few build suggestions in this thread (I linked to mine, but there are others below as well).

Overall, Energy's a pretty good defense set. You don't want to skip anything except maybe the T9 if you don't like crashing godmodes (I don't). Since Titan Weapons is an endurance hog, you'll definitely want Energy Drain and Energize.

The set is really easy to softcap, and while Defensive Sweep only boosts Melee and Smashing defense, which leaves a Lethal hole, Smashing is still common enough that it'll make a difference. I'm at level 22 and I can already softcap Smashing with a single Def Sweep. (Admittedly, I cheaped out and bought a couple sets of Kinetic Combat off the store when they were on sale.) Energy Drain will add between 0.38 and 3.75% overall defense depending on how many enemies you zap with it, and it's easy to perma the def bonus plus provide a regular intake of endurance when you need it.

It's probably not quite as synergistic with TW as Willpower or Elec Armor might be, and it doesn't take full advantage of Brute HP and Resistance caps the way they do, but it's still an effective combination. I'm definitely enjoying it.

As has been said, take everything except the T9 from EA - the +def is redundant on a softcapped build but the +hp is still quite useful.

On mine I'm taking all of the TW powers except Taunt. That's the gameplan anyway. Might change once Mids is updated.

Probably going to add things in like tough/weave, CJ or Hover, and Hasten. Maneuvers is also a high possibility with Energy for epic pool.

Build goals... Softcapping, which is easy to do for s/l/e/n/f/c. Then getting in +hp, +rech, +regen, and some +recovery.

Energy Drain doesn't give as much +def as Energy Absorption from Ice Armor does, but I'm still going to slot it the same as I do on my Ice tank. 2 membranes, and End/Endmod and a Rech/Endmod IO.

SG: Guadians of Paragon - VG: Paragon's Darkness
The Usual Suspects: Fimboolvetr (Icer Tank), Tsukiyomi (Mind/Psi/Ice Dom), Smiting Dragon (Dm/Sr Scrap), Widow Mortis (NW)
Up and Comers: Ameterasu (Km/Reg Scrap), Arrhymian (Elec/Nin Stalk), TDMKII (Bot/Traps MM)

Yup, as Bosstone said, lotsa good suggestions in the mentioned thread. Keep in mind, Mids doesn't have an update yet for building out TW characters, so you'll have to use your imagination a little bit on the builds in the thread.

I've got my TW/EA brute to 28 so far. Unslotted Energy Drain was enough to keep my endurance going (keep in mind, I 2 slotted end reducs for all attacks). It's a very fun combo, you'll enjoy it!
