Haha, I'm gonna have to get one to try out if that's the case. A couple of my softcapped alts use a full set of Gaussian, and I just consider the proc as a bonus if it hits. Having something which will ALWAYS proc is just... :3
  2. My mind is blown.

I started thinking about store procs ever since I saw the explanation Arbiter Hawk gave us regarding Stalker ATE/ATO procs along with store procs. I had never really thought about it before and always regarded them as inferior to crafted procs. My Ice Blaster uses a store Lockdown hold proc in Bitter Freeze Ray which seems to fire fairly consistantly despite the 2PPM.

Finding a place for store Decimation build-up proc will be fun on a lot of my favorite alts.
  3. From the first build, couple of friends ingame made suggestions to help remove slots. So I have three empty slots, where to put them...

    Vorpal

I only wish Cryonic had a similar cone range of 120arc/120range at tier4 (it has 45arc/120range). Vorpal has really spoiled me. XD
  7. Can't Scirocco fly? If so, try flying and he should follow you in the air instead?

I understand that the ATO proc will fire everytime in a power that has a base recharge of (is it 12 or 15 seconds, I have seen both posted). This is the base, so even if brought down to 4-7 seconds it will still proc everytime? unless its an AoE in which case it is still good, but no guarantee of anything? For my Electrical Blast I have it in the Ball attack, of course. But for the Ice the best place appears to be in the "Bitter Ice Blast" making this an icy/hot Boss Killa build, with a crashless nuke and other AoE goodness keeping mobs chilling at about 30-50, close, but I'm getting better at this lol.

The problem is the Bitter Ice Blast is exactly 12 seconds base, so if the verbage is "over 12 seconds" base, or if it is "15 second base" I have to rethink the concept a bit. Anyways, can I get a ruling or a flag on this play?
My latest Incarnate is an Ice/Energy/Cold, haha.

I put the full ATE set into Bitter Ice Blast with the intention of catalysing it later on. It works off base time, not whatever recharge you have it down to. Unfortunately for you, Ice Blast's tier9 nuke has a crash, though I plan to pick up Ageless Core side to solve that issue.

I'm also experimenting with Apocalyse fire proc for fire in Ice Bolt and Impeded Swiftness smash proc in Ice Blast with the intention of swapping it later for Gladiator's Javelin toxic proc, for an attack chain using those three powers with Freeze Ray at times. Currently, Blaster's Wrath proc is active extremely often in Bitter Ice Blast, though once it's catalysed, it should proc at near 100%. I should do a test in warzone on the dummy and keep a log or something, haha.
  9. Remember if there's any Illusion Controllers on the team, get them to dismiss their pets when the Boss GMs are out, as Phantom Army has a strong taunting effect which can play havoc with players attempting to taunt the GMs over.

Haha, I generally use dismiss when it comes to Mastermind pets so they dismiss without dying. XD Phantoms, don't care so much since they immediately do hit animation and fade.

Haunt is a long duration distraction power, much like Illusion's Phantom Army. And just like Phantom Army, you can't prematurely dismiss them.

On the plus side, they only last 60 seconds, so you don't have to wait long for them to go away on their own.

gets rid of my Phantom Army whenever I need them to. Phantoms show up in the pets window so you can dismiss them when you want.

There's a ton of people who sometimes when they check prices just to casually buy salvage for crafting, nerdrage at the extortionate prices, immediately log on their farming alts for an hour or two and flood the market with cheap salvage.

Not that I'm guilty of that.

I dunno how a meleer would deal with this-it was a mess even on the Mastermind, with repeated minion deaths and forcible retreats to get everyone back. Then again, the Patron arc is meant to be a level 40+ arc(according to the Wiki at any rate), and I'm doing it at 37-8 for whatever reason.
The first two Patron arcs were changed to start from level 35 onwards, along with Hero epic pools being unlocked at level 35 as well.

A Melee person simply goes into melee range and hits stuff and relies on resistances or defences to protect him. In addition, he also has mez protection meaning holds don't do anything to them unless heavily stacked.

And now I'm fighting Serafina. Times like this I wish for damage reduction rather than being Pain Domination.
Her idea of 'Moderate' damage is something like 360+ HP damage to everyone hit by that damm tornado. She tears through pets and henchmen both even with Bodyguard and there's only so much I can do against damage that high. I mass heal for 110, single heal for about 220 or so. Heals are slotted (1xHeal, Recharge, End Cost), minions are slotted (2xDamage, 2xAccuracy, 1x End Cost). All three Leadership Auras(1x End Cost), the +Regen Aura(1x heal, 1xend cost)...Wish I could buff my or my minion's HP somehow. I've gotten her to <50% one time, <25% the next. Maybe I should add +heal to them. Maybe it could make the difference.
Serafina is normally a Hero-class entity, but I assume you're fighting her at Elite Boss-class. Elite Bosses are generally significantly tougher than Boss-class entities. A melee archetype with damage reduction might use inspirations to be on the same side when fighting Elite Bosses. As a MM, being in bodyguard mode and having EVERYONE including yourself hit at the same time is bad news. If you have a means to taunt (like the Provoke power from Presence pool, for example), stand a little away from your henchmen in bodyguard mode, and have her focus on you while your henchmen attack her from behind, for example. Use your secondary and Inspirations to keep yourself alive. Alternatively, go into Bloody Bay and grab a set of Shivans which are Elite Boss temporary pets (set of five, lasts for like 4 minutes?).

It's odd, but I'm looking forward to 50 a little, even knowing I can't really progress after that.
The game is well renown for 'Alts'. Might I suggest creating a new character, perhaps blue side? Try out a Melee archetype character such as a Scrapper or a Brute, or even the Stalker with their new fangled out-of-Hide Assassin's Strike?

IM sorry but forming a trial on top of another one already forming and then telling the people who are +1 sorry out of luck, sorry we took most of your team, oh well too bad.

    That is JUST WRONG.

I have no problem with asking for +2 or +3, but taking all the +2's and gutting another persons trial, then telling them they cant come on yours is about as bad and antisocial as it gets.
There isn't just 16 players on a server. If someone is forming a Trial, why would people be barred from starting another one? I would suggest joining more channels on your server to recruit from if you're struggling with finding players.

I would admit that taking other players and then saying they're not able to do the trial is in a bit of bad taste, so that would be that person's fault for not advertising properly (i.e. "We need +2 or +3 level shifted people only please for DD")

Also, DD is new content and thus shiny. You'll have to expect people to be running it at the start of i22, and with how DD requires high level shifts and almost any mix of ATs, people will be wanting to try it out.
  16. If they don't actually appear in your Pets window, I don't think there is a way of dismissing them unless you're defeated, and even then, that's not always the case for all of them.

But I mean what I said. It's quite obvious that you're going to disregard what we say and create your possibly offensive character anyway. I'm just saying if it does get generic'd, don't complain about it since you knew what you were getting into when you go make it.

    Moving Catalysts

I just wish either Catalysts were account-bound and not character-bound, OR, you could use Catalysts on ATOs from your enhancement bar instead of requiring it to be slotted first.
  20. Feel free to make what you want, but if you get generic'd over something blatently offensive (even if you can't see it), don't come crying on the forums about it.

I could go either way. I think the OP has merit, and I wouldn't mind seeing more variety, but I find my opinions of humans in the high level game aligning with Samuel_Tow and I think he makes a good case.
I'm only asking for the return of the ones in suits, not the wimpy scientists and security force. To me, they have the enigma and face of Crey as a super corporation. Higher level, heck, for all we know, they could even be undisguised Paragon Protectors who's powers didn't get far enough to be worthy, or genetically modified super loyal agents. It wouldn't be a first, the Countess herself has undergone genetic therapy to get psi powers.

And then their weapons - Crey Industries is made up of multiple divisions, one of which is Crey Technologies. If they didn't design and build it themselves, they brought or... acquired the means to build it anyway.

Due to 'balance', they should do more damage than melee assassin strike due to having a 7.33sec or 8sec animation time (Soul/Mu have 7.33sec, Mace has 8sec). :3 Cut the animation by a few seconds and then they deserve to do less damage, haha.
  23. I've been trying to find a power to put the proc into my Inv/SS tanker, and been seriously thinking about having Jab as the power of choice. I spam it often to keep bruising on a target (even if it only stacks once), so would it work here, or should I look to slotting it in something with longer recharge time like Haymaker or even Knockout Blow?
  24. I think the biggest change I want if alternate pet appearance and AI fix isn't doable is to have the 'Supremacy Incarnate Shifts' Minion and Lieutenant pets get in Incarnate Trials to be made appliable to the entire game.

Just because you now get two minions instead of one, they both drop a level, and it gets worse when you have three, as they drop two levels. They're still minion class, so it's not like they're completely overpowered or anything. As it is, they can literally become useless in higher level content due to being underlevelled (even more so if you yourself is lower level than enemies you're fighting). Same goes for the lieutenants, they drop a level when you get two of them. They're still lieutenant class, meaning they have less HP than a standard Pet-class (controller and dominator pets).

Alternatively, look at the three attack powers a Mastermind gets. Wonder why nobody ever takes them? Because they do pathetic and pitiful damage! They only have three attacks, a minor, moderate and a cone, so adjusting the damage level so it's about the same level as say a Corruptor wouldn't be gamebreaking and stepping on their toes. They only have three attacks anyway!
  25. Regarding Sniper fixes, I hope it goes to all ATs who have a snipe and not just Blasters. You haven't sniped until you've experienced a Stalker using a snipe

    Snipers for Stalkers:
    Mace Beam - 8sec cast
    Zapp - 7.33sec cast
    Moonbeam - 7.33sec cast

At the very least for Stalkers and Scrappers, please half the animation time so it's on par with other Sniper attacks, haha.
