Command for dismissing Haunt pets?

I was using the same macro (releasepets) that I use on my MM, but that only dismiss Umbra Beast and not the haunts. Is there any other ocmmand I can use for it?

Haunt isn't really a pet. Not like Umbra Beast is.

Haunt is a long duration distraction power, much like Illusion's Phantom Army. And just like Phantom Army, you can't prematurely dismiss them.

On the plus side, they only last 60 seconds, so you don't have to wait long for them to go away on their own.

One thing I noticed yesterday after I was defeated is that Haunt pets don't disappear when the summoner is defeated. Kind of odd and I'm not sure if it's WAI or not.

A couple of pets do that. Spirits from Necromancy and the Warshade pets for example.

Yeah, I use /releasepets all the time for PA and it works.


Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

Haha, I generally use dismiss when it comes to Mastermind pets so they dismiss without dying. XD Phantoms, don't care so much since they immediately do hit animation and fade.

what i think would be funny is if you died but the baddy had such low health and your shades finished him off which in turn caused you to level rez lol

Well, if they do show up, then dismiss or release command should work. I wouldn't know, since I've not got a Dark Control character, haha.

OK, I've just tested it. You can dismiss them using 'Dismiss' from the pet window, but /releasepets doesn't work.
