I think I'll just throw my wallet at you so-n-so's. This is what I've been waiting for!

EDIT: Okay, one of the things I've been waiting for.

The ultimate thing I'm waiting for is a for-pay AT respec. If you're reading DEV's I am willing to give you monies for this. I tried it on a competitor's and OMG...

    Please? Make it expensive. I...don't...care.

    Prometheus

    Saw it in IMAX 3D...Magnificent.

Shaw was my POV character and through her experiences, I really enjoyed the movie, especially after her world went toes up and suddenly she was under the looking glass.
  3. I think I'd like Storm's American father to be acknowledged more period.

She was born in the U.S. her mother is from Kenya. Her parents were killed while her father was on assignment in Egypt.

    American...dangit.

I don't know why it annoys me so much, but it does.
  4. I team a lot more, and as a result I'm willing to try things I've avoided...like Defenders.
  5. Warners should give Dini and Timm the budget to make a Wonder Woman movie.

    It would be AWESOME.
  6. I say we shave him, put him in a bow tie and a snow-white thong and have him serve me drinks.
  7. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAH!!!!

Time to make a sonic blaster tribute character.
  8. I think the success of the Avengers, is a positive sign for Superman. If Batman does well this summer, it will be a four star indicator that a larger than life hero can thrive at the box office as long as the story is good.

Avengers had four color action and a story with progression and heart and did not sacrifice story for "heart."
  9. On Virtue:

    Blackstick for a fire/staff tank.
    Canain for a stalker.
  10. This can't happen until water blast goes live:

The Revenge of MC Pee Pants.
  11. I would make the whole team go see The Avengers, call a meeting and say...

"That last battle...it's going to be a raid...make it happen."
  12. Bought 2. USed one each on two Praetorian concepts that I had been avoiding because of percieved leveling slowness.

Got one to 42 on an 8 hour

Got another to 28 on the other 8 hour.

Pretty satisfied with the purchases. Would have bought more, but there was something else on sale I wanted.
  13. They are ugly. I can't stand that backpack. I prefer my Fortunata. He's a defense build but he has everything I've wanted in a psi blaster: high defense, status protection, and boomgasms and no arms sticking out the back.
  14. I move around a lot. I think I have jousting-type activations down on my most favored characters, especially when it comes to breaking line of sight. When available, I also tend to move up and down a lot, going up out of range and dipping down to splat things.

The main exception to this has been my staff characters, I'm still learning the set, but there I times while the set is blurring through animations I'm pounding the keyboard and yelling at the computer, "Go go go go go go!" because I need to switch positions before releasing another cone attack.

    Hecatomb!

    Double XP temp powers!

Hecatomb is discounted! Are the other purple sets there? If so...

I don't have the Fry gif so I'll just throw my wallet at the computer.

    Dang you Paragon!

    *I don't mean it...*
  16. I want to add another "love."

Playing a Fire/Staff tank and at level 29, it's a rather glorious tornado of burning destruction.
  17. Hqnk

    STAFF you all!

    I want a hammerhead staff.
  18. Hqnk

    STAFF you all!

Hrm...so according to the description in game, Serpent's Strike is a targeted aoe for tanks. Is that a typo?
  19. Hqnk

    STAFF you all!

I was fully prepared to dismiss Staff Fighting...then I went to Paragon Wiki and read the power list.

    It has a ranged attack.

I went back and read it again...yep, wasn't hallucinating.

There's another melee set for Tanks that doesn't have a ground only ranged attack (KM was the first I believe).

I'm in. The only question is Tank, Broot, or Scrapper.
  20. My biggest problem with the current run of Wonder Woman is just how annihilative the run is towards Wonder Woman's roots.

Amazons: Periodically go out and sex up sailors, murder them and then sell boy children for weapons (considered a good thing since they used to just drown or expose them).

Sorry, I prefer the whole "reincarnated spirits of women thing." Apparently, Marsten wrote that all Amazons are formed of clay and animated by spirits, not just Wonder Woman. It was retconned to make her special.

JLU flirted with the whole father thing with hyppy saying that Hades helped her craft the clay pre-WW. NOw it's Zeus, and she's just like Hercules, Kratos, Wonder Girl and any other demi-god.

In some ways it seems that the goal of this series is to "take her down a peg." If she's a suffering outcast, she's more relatable. The sales probably bear it out though. No room for shiny.

    YMMV
All of the successful TPN's I've been on ignored the telepathists and bum rushed the trial, didn't stop me from getting pelted a couple of times while travelling between buildings. Except I don't freak out about it. The point is that it isn't the rock that causes the problem. It is the debuff. The most common point of the complaint seems to be "It's just more psychologically fulfilling to get shot at by tanks for massive damage," when the whole point of the debuff is to demoralize.

    Working as intended.

And no, I haven't been killed by civilians even when on my squishies. I'm just tired of a mechanic that's been explained to death being constantly brought up and taken massively out of context of the trial. Especially when it apparently doesn't even have particular impact on most runs.

EDIT: Make that some runs. I've never done a TPN and not been +3 shifted. It probably makes a huge difference.
  22. It's not the rocks that kill you. It's the Well-juiced incarnate-nuking telepathist debuff that kills you.

This isn't news, it isn't the rocks. If you kill the telepathists, the rocks can't kill you. If you leave the telepathists out there, you eat what you sew and deal with it. Seriously, let it go, your god peen is not being stomped on maliciously when you don't do what it takes to take it out from under the damned boot. You are doing it to yourself.
