  1. Not trolling. I'd honestly like to know why you want the AT?

It's kinda like tipping your hand for those that have super sekrit dueling toons.
  2. keep in mind also. If you ever went free 2 play you wouldn't be able to access Exalted (and any toons there)
  3. well, since you ahve positional defense (melee, ranged, aoe), you wont need the sm/leth def from Kinetic Combats (expensive).

A generic Healing IO in Health will give more regen than the RegenTissue.

Really don't need to go past 45% defense (soft-cap).

    • (A) Lockdown - Chance for +2 Mag Hold
    • (3) Ghost Widow's Embrace - Chance of Damage(Psionic)
    • (37) Neuronic Shutdown - Chance of Damage(Psionic)

the above slotting has a average damage of 84 (0~142)

replace proc's with Damage IO's and the average damage is 86

slotting for damage for this power is more effective than proc's, only for the first 2 slots tho...if you had 3 damage procs it would be better than 3 Damage IO's (ED).

but ideally you'd want to get damage close to 80% before adding dam proc's

my math is rusty, think its accurate..

3 Devastation's would be my vote

the pvp uniques are over 2 bill each right?

alot of people dont like AP.

It's really not that big a deal.

Odds are the enemy doesn't even see you, so you basically have to watch for splash damage.

As long as you're not pulling hella agro, and have some sort of stealth/invis you should be good.

you could always pop a Luck/Sturdy after AP'ing if you think a mob is looking at ya.

    Emp/Rad

Defender heals are better than trollers, BUT controllers have a "better" Power Boost. When Power Boost is activated you'll actually heal more than a defender with Power Build-Up.

Power Boost and Power Build-Up both increase the efficiency of secondary powers like mez, debuff's, buff's, and heals.

Power Build-Up (hero defender epic power) is like a Power Boost plus a "build up".
Power Boost (hero controller epic power) doesnt give a acc/dam boost, but the secondary's are boosted more than PBU.

You can always unlock the villian Epics to get Power Boost on a defender.

all this to say you don't HAVE to play a defender to be "the best of the best for healing"

to give you a idea of the number's... my ill/emp has 45% global recharge
plus 70% from Hasten. My PB has a recharge of 40sec. the duration is 15 sec.
So..about a third of the time my healz are better than a defender's.

even a defender's heals with the villian PB is < a troller with PB (about equal actually)

again, I'm not suggesting you should do one or the other, just that you have more options for the "ultimate he4Lzor"

If you dont want a epic pool with power boost then ignore everything above.

also the base rech on PBU is 4mins. PB is 2mins.

Depending on your play style, it could be counter productive to generate alot of agro with AOE's n such.
  9. you've got tons of control. I don't think you need 2 single target holds, so I dropped Paralytic Poison.

    something like this?

  10. opening with SoC or Poison Trap makes this build pretty safe to play. I think ranged AND s/l defense is overkill. Anything left to attack you will be severly "weakened"

I'd Proc tha chit out of yer aoe's.
  11. micro's are 100~300mil btw.

You can try to bid 35~40mil and let it sit for a week.

(I haven't checked the price in awhile, but this seems to be the standard)
  12. Well, for a single target build maybe +2/1 with Bosses-While-Solo turned on?

Lightning Field is terrible, but alot of people take it for the cool factor..and a damage aura would have some synergy with Beam Rifle.

I gather, with Beam Rifle, you'll want to use your primary non stop to keep Disintegration up/going. That's what I've read anyway..

The end draining probably won't be terribly affective btw.
  13. Hindenburg

    Ice/kin

Personally, I prefer my kins to be more offensive.

I usually make recharge my first priority and worry about survivalbility later.

Defense is great don't get me wrong. It just that kin's are so good at destroying all in it's path, I like to feed the beast.

I'm not as good with numbers as the above poster's, but I took a stab at yer build.

I didn't take tough/weave cause you shouldn't need it, but mainly to save endurance.

power picks in no particular order
  16. yeah, the minus rech is 65%..basically negating Hasten (70%)

    damage is reduced by 30%

You could try a brute instead? You'd still be tough and fury would help with the damage.

Stone is a fun and unique set definitely worth trying out.

I've seen people slot a handful of +run speed bonuses to help out with movement. It won't make a ton of difference so I wouldn't sacrifice anything for it. You could slot a few gift of the ancients, PerfShift, Aegis, and Gaussian's...maybe Winter's Gift.

Does momentum only affect animation time?

    anyways, gl.
  17. are you familiar with Granite? the minus recharge might suck with TW not sure though. Momentum might counteract it

once Granite is toggled it shuts off the other sheilds, so if you plan to stay in granite most the time you won't technically need the other sheilds.

There should be plenty of Stone Armor builds laying around that you could look at. I'm awaiting Mids to update also, so I can check out the TW numbers.
  18. ok! I'll nitpick

more HP basically (and some movement increase!)

I'd put the Dam/Rng in Frost Breath instead of Dam/End

I played a elec/elec blapper to 42 and I would just pop 1-2 purples each mob.

    you'll want Tough and Acrobatics.

    pretty much. OG is 0.08/s

(in comparison to yer average sheild 0.21 ~ 0.26/s)
  22. TW looks fancy. I want it but plan to wait for Mid's so I can see the number's.

I plan to take Fire Armor for more offensive goodness.
  23. at least now we can start kb'ing again! >.>
  24. for all the reason's you mentioned Kat, I agree it was (for the most part) inevitable.

but I have a problem disbanding before game day.

In all likelihood 3 people would've shown and then fine..we disband, but if by chance we had 6 show..I would have defintely played a 6v8..

meh, its all my fault for never getting on vent to discuss.

It's possible if they scaled the damage super high to deal with that, it could be OK, but I would imagine those long-*** animations will make it pretty terrible.
well, animation time shouldn't matter if yer playing the role of a KM or a Stalker.

in fact, the longer the better! (assuming the damage scales with the animation).

can't wait to find out what the damage is. Hurry up Mids!.
