You don't get all the rewards that are available in COH as you do in COV. No drug bust or mugging rescues to gain extra infamy in COV like there is in COH so no it is not the same rewards.

If you can do that... then you are kind of acknowledging that currency in CoV IS Infamy. Thus, why the same ol' infamy rewards for heist missions where you are supposedly robbing a bank,casino, etc. ???
I'd rather see Hesit missions be bumped up substantially in infamy payout over hunting buried treasure. Hell, I'd sacrifice XP for triple infamy bonuses for heists!!! They are short enough as it is that I won't see the XP hit... plus since you have to BUILD your broker to a new heist, it makes it more worthwhile.

It would be a nice offset if we could get triple infamy rewards from heists... I mean, we ARE robbing a bank/casino/etc.
It would offset the fact that we don't have random civies running up to us and giving us inf when we save them.
But infamy is definitely a problem in CoV, and it doesn't look like rednames want to address it. Sure, you may be on the same "table" as CoH, but that means jack when your ways of earning infamy are less than those in COH when gaining influence.

Sooo... as some sort of carrot to players in lieu of the philosophy of Enhancement Diversification, you offer an END discount to all powers... yet, in doing so, you take away the need to diversify effects on powers as far as ENDurance is concerned... :boggle:
I suggest you start looking at bumping up the "other" effects of powers in addition to this. For instance, I'm more than willing to take one of my Defender Elect blasts and slot: 1acc, 2dmg, 3drain... yet.. that would mean I took a mediocre power and made it crap. End drain is bolox and defender elec damage is even WORSE.
Oh and speaking of Defenders and their new inherent power... what do we get? This "END" discount is realy only going to benefit us when not teamed... whereas the main focus of most defender powers is to be on a team...

Speaking as a emp/elec defender, and echoing others, PVP for defenders is very limited.
I spent all the time respecing my elec stuff to ROCK at END drain in PVE, only to find that in PVP, the end drain is about as effective on players as it is on AVs - ROTTEN.
Clear Mind is a great power, but has the longest animation time of the entire set: 4secs. This is horrible because many times you are forced to make a decision on whether to save someone with a heal or save someone else with Clear Mind.
Agreed- Ressurect NEEDS to have something more to it. Perhaps giving it similar attributes to Adrenaline Boost but scaled back, would be a good start.
In order for Defenders to stop having a giant CROSSHAIR on them in PVP, their secondary has to be bumped up in power so as to even be able to keep would be assassins at bay. My elec blasts do NOTHING in PVP. I've slotted them for drain and dmg... the results are both laughable. I have tesla cage and it's "OK" against anything but a tank, scrapper, blaster using Unstoppable, Kheldian using Light-Form...
How come defenders don't get de-toggle powers (other than brawl)? If they do, what are they and what sets are they in.
Also, the activation time for Short Circuit is suicide. You jump into to us it, and if you haven't had aggro managed for you- you are toastmore times than not. -

PLEASE!!! PLEASE look at END cost for human form powers. A reduction would be a welcome adjustment. As a scranker-PB, I have 6 slotted Stamina and END reducers in Shining Shield and my 3 melee attacks... sucking wind EASILY against 3 foes. VERY dependant on CoBs and Conserve Power to keep a moderate pace.
Also, some kind of Stasis protection or even just KNOCKBACK protection would be HEAVENLY for PBs.
Worst thing about my scranker build is the friggin' knockback that MANY foe groups have. -
This kind of explanation and basically "sit down" with the players is what we need to see more of Positron. Thank you.
Now, if you might do the same for all the plenty of unpleasant changes in i5... I believe a lot of the piss and vinegar on the forums might become less acidic.

Since we never tracked Shield Generators before, it begins tracking it as soon as the update goes up. Previous Sheild Generators are not counted.

So healing, damage taken, influence earn, debt, etc.... all that stuff is currently being tracked on your characters, so when the new badges go in, you will have a head start on them. No datamine required.

Odd that doesn't fit with the TaskForces Badges. You already reward badges for TFs, so shouldnt there be something in the system that tracks and marks a character that completed XXX TaskForce if it was already done?
If there is nothing the tags a character that completed a TF when the badge is not working, I think there should be.

You devs are constantly going to have to fight this battle UNLESS you do something about tracking ALL TFs (especially new ones that don't get badges right off the bat.)

This is pretty damn poor. If you wanted people to DO the TFs again because you are all to lazy to datamine (or figure out why it's a hard thing to do in the first place), then at LEAST rethink the TFs so they are INTERESTING and WORTH DOING AGAIN. Hess TF ANYONE?!?! The Shard TFs are about as fun as watching paint dry. They are similar to Hamidon in that they aren't exactly TOUGH, the hardest part is having the patience or stubbornness to stick out the huge time sink that they are.
So now you tell all these stubborn/patient people that they get nothing for their pain except a pat on the back???

INdeed- the SG system as a whole is SO limiting, this idea is damn laughable. In Lone STAR, we have 5 SGs all of which have members that use the SG colors till level 20 and then BOOM, SG uniform time. The limitations of the SG color scheme and emblem restriction are sad and should be altered if they plan on doing something this insane.
Sidebar- why the hell can you STILL not change your colors or emblem??? For a game with SOO much customization in costume creation, the SG system is down right fascist!

Assuming there are even 50 of the badges available.
I know PRE-i5 there are 35ish. -
Related note- how about a "badge page?" A page where you can look at all the badges together. You can click on the badge, it enlarges, and you can read more info- inlcuding what you did to achieve it. You could make it another listing like ID is, you go to a screen similar to the enhancement screen and can really check out the badges. Allow others to do the same.
The current system with the little window and inability to see your own badges is weak and feels rushed. Take some more time and devise a better way. You guys put effort into these things for art, design, achievement, placement, etc and all this work is getting glossed over with a some rapid clicks.

The sounds are weak and irritating.
The graphics of the buffs is HORRIBLE, not to mention that it causes graphic lag. But it just looks like a mistake.
It's essentially another bubble set. Can't you come up with something different? Maybe buff different things? Provide protection not available or partially available in other sets.
And once again you are hurting yourself to not be able to build an all sonic blaster. -
Of course... those level 22+ training enhancements ROCK!!
COme on seriously states... we use the drops, when they are useable. The problem is that MOST of the time we get DOs, Training, or some off origin SO... so we filter out our 10tray locker until we next hit a store. On the rare occassion I get an SO to my origin that I can use, I do a jig!
People would be less inclined to sell so many enhancements if you had enhancements dropping that were WORTH a damn.
TRAINING ENHANCEMENT FILTER SYSTEM for Quality of LIfe is a start. But the ultimate question is WHY certain enhancements drop after certain levels.
Find me a level 40 hero that has anything but SOs and I will show you a Developer doing obscure testing, OR a player who DESPERATELY needs to read the mysterious manual.
Personally, I believe that if you had MUCH less frequent, but much more VALUABLE drops... trading would be a viable option. AS it stands now, people fill their trays per mission and hit the stores in between because 90% of the drops are worthless other than influence or just get deleted. So if a hero visits the store to sell one or two... might as well sell nearly all of the ones I got. He sure as hell won't be using them. -

Then what kind of data mining have you done that is showing the SS and SJ are bad for PvE in their current Live versions???? Yeah sure, they may be the most popular travel powers, but is that REALLY a BAD thing???
I'm real curious to see SOMETHING on why the SS SJ changes have come about... what data is showing these powers as problematic, imbalancing powers??? -
