i say aye. more epics of any sort means something else to timesink. its real easy bring up the argument "the devs dont like farming for anything under any circumstances" when you are one of the ones who has already completed the badges which require @$$loads of farming/afkFARMING.
i would go further as to reset any requirements a player may already have to prevent retro-achieiving. Any EPIC should take a considerable amount of time...unless its EPIC enhancements...which are aquired easiest how?

w/o something to farm, nobody would play this game. farming is what keeps you playing when you cant find a team late at night early in the morning or when you DONT feel like teaming.
this game is all about farming. enchancements, badges, merits, monies, salvage, tickets, lvls. teaming is pretty much the only activity i do anymore for the love of the game, b/c teaming is counterproductive in CoX. -

Well bosses also have a chance to drop Pool C recipes, which are the ones you otherwise need merits to get. So some people like to farm them for that reason.

I run with no bosses so that may change things, though of course there still are the Fakes and Warhulks, they just are lieutenants.

Hey gang. Forum lurker here. However, after due consideration, I think it should be mentioned (probably for the umpteenth time) that Blasters are begging for a knock off of the Martial Arts scrapper set as a blaster secondary. Some decent punches, good kicks, a stun or 3, a chance for knockdown or disorient on some attacks, and build up would be all it needed to make a viable set that would go well with the "non-super" powers, like Archery, Dual Pistols, or Assault Rifle.
Thoughts? Feedback? Constructive criticism?
I thought it would work well if for Damage Mitigation most of the attacks had a chance for knockdown or disorient, as well as the animations for something like that would be very nice to go with some of the really sweet power sets that are coming into the game.

sweet, if i can fit it, im gonna try it. seriously considering another epic pool. to fit in the purps, i was thinking going 3 slots for most of the defense with LotG's. maybe slotting boxing to fit in Absolute Amazement (in the last 2 days ive gotten 5 of the set to drop already, lol) ive been farming TV like crazy.:P

after another hecatomb dropping, i have come to the point where i am at a loss as to where and how to slot this set once i get the others. should i go 5 or 6 hecatombs? i am thinking haymaker for hecatombs, but ive seen others slot them in Knock-out blow.
i want advice for a fine-tuned build aimed at heavy damage/decent AoE damage.
-leaping,fighting, Mu, and SS(hasten only) are my current pools.
-i have 5 sets LotGs, 3 sets kinetic combat, and most of the extra procs and goodies (minus the +stealth travel and the kismet Proc)
i want to use more purple sets, armageddon/ragnanok whatever in the future...slotting advice on these would be great as well.i like what my build can do so far, im jus curious about what a good Purple IOed build for SS/ENG/Mu would look like.
-no ceiling budget
-50 IOs, exemplaring not important for this one.
-no PVP IOs
also if there is something better for raw AoE damage than Mu, clue me in -

Norma Jean, but only Bless the Matyr and Kiss the Child...Circle takes the Square...The Acacia Strain--hard stuff like that. sometimes its Frank Black or Mazzy Star. sometimes its MIA. lol i listen to music all day, everyday. I only play 1 toon. she is a brute so 9 times outta 10 its something heavy:P

It wouldn't even have to be a blood pool aura, just a dripping water one. We could tint it red. That would get around the 'T' rating. That way your sensitive stomach can handle it.

idc anymore. although i can still farm it to some extent, the constant changes are killing it for me. idc for PLing so i could do w/o the XP. the tickets made up for the "random is random" drop rates that regular content offers. now there isnt even that really. maybe its for the better, but id say different. AE purist should be happy now at least...in addition to most of AE arcs being bad, they are now worthless as well.

farming is good. PLing is bad. unfortunately, they go hand-in-hand here. i only farm solo anymore, whether its AE tix or Purples from content.

I have to agree. I only played the first mission, but I think the arc can be much improved by cleaning up the spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I would also suggest changing the names of some of the bad guys. here is how I could do you better...Good luck!
