Fighting a single target (No soul drain fodder) Which primary is going to put out more dps? And which chain is going to accomplish this? Gloom not included.

Everytime I hear about the hunger games, all I think of is this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Long_Walk
Of course, I've read everything that Stephen King has written
Maybe I should look into Battle Royal. -
I was going through my toons today, and found one I haven't played in a long time. I mean since the "changes" to EM. He was always a fun toon to play, but with the changes, it just seemed his damage potential went down. Way down. So I was curious, with the way that tanks now debuff with their tier1 attack, and the advent of Incarnate powers, could he be retuned to a semi decent damage dealer?
I was thinking adding reactive interface and muscular alpha might help?
Am I wrong? -
Thanks CBeet. Minimal changes and fixed what needed to be fixed.

Quote:See, the problem is, I like to hear things when I play, like the music that I may have in the background, or my friends on Vent.
Heaven forbid you turn your sound down cause an SG mate wants to play with demons.
Demon MM's, and that damnable Beam Rifle set make it hard to do so. -

It's a nerd culture forum.
No, it's not. If it does I don't know how. Would you care to enlighten me?
This isn't a nerd culture forum. If it is please petition the Mods to change the name of the forum to that. I come to this section of the forums to read about heroes and villains. Not DVR's. And by that logic, what do DVRs have to do with nerd culture.
Unlocking human potential is how we got Captain America.
The Matrix had a hero that could fly and bend his reality to his whims. You know, super powers.
Doomsday scenarios could be in reference to nearly any comic crossover, or if we're talking comics, The Walking Dead comes to mind. Or Marvel Zombies.
Why not just start another Wolverine Vs. Rapheal thread? At least that pertained to Comics. -
So, like quite a few of Dur's threads, I have to wonder what this has to do with comic hero and vilain culture? This entire thread is off topic.

The other day I decided to give WM a shot. At first, I decided to go Strong/Pretty. I worked my way up to 20. I did Posi and Synapse, no problems. On my Sister Psyche TF, I realized that I was having an issue stealthing, thanks to the stealth toggle also being the taunt aura. I had not originally considered this. Since stealth is a big part of this toons background, I had to reroll.
Enter my Wm/Sr Scrapper!!
I started by running three DFB's so I could get to a comfortable lvl to start the TF's. I did all of them except for Numina in one day. The next day, upon waking, I did Numina. In 25 hours I completed all of the Freedom Phalanx TF's, and got the Atlas Medallion. That is how much stinking fun this is!
Seriously!
Now even though there were brutes and tanks on the teams, I always wound up as lead melee man.
With all that being said, how does my build look?

Well, it's been 2 and a half months now. I only bump this because I am interested in it myself.

Quote:Thanks for the "tip" lol. I'll have to look into that.
OP - there's a Rogue Tip Morality mission involving Silent Blade and a group that apparently splintered off the KoA, and this group actually includes males (using the Tsoo models). Maybe you should check that out, it might work for your blade-wielding toon.
Really meow, and where would one find this information? -
-
Only problem is, it's a male toon.
He's already lvl 37 to and halfway IO'ed.
I found the entry on the KoA in paragonwiki, and this did catch my eye.
The Knives of Artemis is an all-female mercenary group, and has a reputation as one of the deadliest paramilitary groups in the world. The Knives are often seen as an extension of the Malta Group, and are enlisted for high-level security functions, or to engage in surgical strike operations.
I think I can work the Malta angle in there somehow and still have a connection with the KoA. -
Well, he is supposed to be a deep cover FBSA agent. I suppose I could work in Chimeras group.
Btw, thanks, I could not remember his name to save my freakin life. -
SO I am working on a backstory for my neweset scrapper, but there is something I am unsure of.
Is the group "Knives of Artemis" all female? Is there no male counterparts? What about Praetoria? I seem to remember Manticores evil twin having a group of ninjas, but can't remember anything about them.
Had to update the OP. Changing the toon to a female is a definite no-go.
F.B.S.A. Profile: D.A.T.A. Operative Codename: Excelerate was originally a "Special Operative" for the U.S military when he was contacted by the F.B.S.A. to infiltrate Arachnos. Starting as a grunt and working his way through the ranks, he became a Bane Spider and is directly responsible for the release of Hugo Figure. Since his return from the Rogue Isles he has been very busy infiltrating the Malta Corps and gathering more information on the mysterious Knives of Artemis. -
Personally, I like to pair SS and SJ, you can jump far and run fast. Great for traveling around.
J/K
Personally, I haven't gotten a StJ past lvl 18 yet, but both my StJ/WP, and StJ/Inv brutes are fun as hell. -
Now I'm debating whether or not to reroll my Fm/Wp as a Fm/Inv

Quote:Not exactly like Green Latern. His source of power is the chunks of meteor he absorbed. After extending himself for an extended period of time his powers start to fade, unless he comes into contact with more of the meteor. Which comes in the form of a rather large chunk carried by Bill Cosby.
Brief exposure to this chunk seems to revitalize his powers fully for some time. However it's suggested that it is indeed temporary and, without the chunk to recharge with...
Doesn't help that an ensuing struggle ends up causing the remainder of the chunk to be absorbed either.
While true that he isn't very skilled with his powers, it is due to the limited nature of it, making it not something you can practice with much. That and the fact that Jeff really wasn't into comics at all. Still far more useful than Blankman's skill set.
(Meteor Man sits proudly in my DvD collection, one of my favorites growing up.)
Kind of reminiscent of how Supreme got his powers. Not exactly sure which came first though, and my head hurts to much to bother looking.
I loved Meteor Man as a kid. I haven't seen it in a looong time though. I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere. -
So, Batman or Superman?
I'm goin with Supes here. -
2 attacks? I thought that FS was the only AoE that SS had, Did something change in the last week?

This certainly looks interesting. I'm liking all of the "Adult" fairy tales that have been coming out lately. -
Yeah, thats how I have my claws/sr scrapper built, but he's mostly used for AV soloing.
So, with the new Alphas out there, which would you suggest? I have Cardiac on my ss/inv brute. -
I saw this and immediately, i http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLnWf1sQkjY&ob=av3e
