This.
I log in, see the new LFG interface, click on it and see two choices, both of which sound dull. I choose the first available and get told that nobody is running either. -
I think that the real annoyance is that in the old launcher you would click on the same button twice, whereas now you don't get to see where the agreement button will be until after you've clicked and waited. The waiting is also an annoyance. Time moves slower while you're waiting for a window to open.

Quote:Oh, hell, I had completely forgotten that I had one of them too. I clicked the wrong button sometime about 3 years ago and it created me a new trial account with the same login details but on the US servers. This!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have an american account i have never even logged into (trial) it needs to die before this happens
Also never logged into. Hopefully they'll figure out the need for this to be fixed. -
I would settle for some claws with no obvious joining to my hands. The two long hooks would be perfect but for the little metal box at the base where they become undeniably something worn.

The ability to get missions any time. None of this "Oh sorry, you've done all the available missions and are still too low level to get any more, why not go and kill dogs to level up?"
Seriously, from the start the newspaper hooked me. -
I don't buy small bottles of it.
I was working on a price of £1.50 (around US$2) for a 2 litre bottle. Things like the Magic pack cost £6 so a saving of £3 is 4 litres of caffeinated goodness, or enough to see me through a typical monday morning (j/k - it takes much more than that)
-
So let me see if I understand this.
If I wait until next Monday I can save the price of two bottles of diet coke, because I'll only be able to buy something costing the price of four and then I'll be locked out. -
I was going to say March of Cambreadth for brutes, but it might fit tankers better.
Sound the horn and call the cry
How many of them can we make die? -
Somebody is planning to play a character based on Blade Bunny?
-
and some of us are using powersets that rely heavily on pbaoe and cone effects, where not being able to pinpoint position yourself reduces your effectiveness far more than the speed boost increase in recovery and recharge makes up for it.
-
Quote:The ten minutes of Dev time that it would take to copy Walk and change the speed multiplier on it? Hell, yes. I mean, people who don't want Swift will not be slotting it so you'll just need a speed multiplier of 1 divided by the swift multiplier.... but in this case, do you REALLY see so many people "opting out" of your plan that it's really worth the resources expended developing such an 'opt' system, knowing that those resources are pulled from other tasks?
I have quit groups before because Kineticists could not get the message that some people do not want speed boosting. They also could not understand that going faster isn't automatically a bonus in a game where positioning is so important. -
Quote:The Wentworth teleporter doesn't blow away your blueside tips. And back again; the elevator there is hero-only both ways. If you get ported down, the only way to get back on your own is to use one of the teleport special powers -- Pocket D Gold Card, Ouroboros Portal, base teleporter, or mission teleporter. I haven't tried the last one yet, but the other three blow away your accumulated tips. Which seems to me to be broken, at least for going to Pocket D. Leaving Pocket D to either side I can see blowing away your tips for the other side, but not going there, nor exiting to the same side you earned the tips on.

I can't see any good reason not to be able to turn off Swift if you want to. I have enough trouble outrunning escorted npcs on characters without it.

Thanks for the tip. I guess having to take time to summon and enhance every pet is better than nothing.

My reformed Mastermind got her first hero contact, one Unai Kemen. Her first mission for him required her to go all round a big map filled with Banished Pantheon and close 20 dimensional ruptures.
Her minions would not move or respond to any commands on the map. I would guess that this is an issue caused by the map not being designed for villains. That is probably the worst thing compared to the fact that, while she has no damage dealing powers whatsoever she completed the mission with barely any incident. -
Oh, Hi.
I just play now and then. Let my account lapse in the meantime. Level 46 main. It's not the end of the world going without CoH for a month or two. -
Out of interest, does Maneuvers stack with Tactical Training: Maneuvers?
-
Well, my Mastermind has confirmed after extensive investigation that Longbow did not in fact commit the crime against her homeworld which led her to be sent to Primal Earth in the first place and if Longbow had cooperated with her investigation then she would have had to kill far fewer of them and their allies.
-
Robin Hood would be a Resistance Warden. If there are powerful people standing up for justice for all there cannot be a Robin Hood, so he won't exist on Primal. He was as much a product of his setting as anything.
-
My Mastermind main is an alien who wrongly accused Paragon City of being behind certain attacks on her home. Mostly because I had to choose to get CoH or CoV and at the time CoV had more content.

I wouldn't say remove it, but it could stand to be less. The decision to press on at 80% health is a good part of the game, besides which you're not going to be resting every ten seconds.
I'd say a base time of 2 minutes instead of the current 3. Add a recharge reduction, or two if you really need them and how quickly are you getting badly beaten anyway? -
I just did a very good Vigilante mission. To prevent a jury being intimidated, I volunteered to guard the villain who was having them intimidated and persuaded him that if any more jurors in his case got hurt then the beatdown I gave him would be a fond memory.
The challenge was leaving afterwards since he was in police custody when I beat him up. He pleaded guilty. -
There has been some discussion over in the GR forum about a tip day job. Possibly a journalist day job which helps you get tips (One per mission? Higher drop rate? One tip for 18 hours logged out? Something else?)
Quote:Hrm, the Rogue Isles have WSPDR and Praetoria has TPN as highly visible media outlets. Add one to Paragon and bam! Journalist Dayjob. Combine Journalist and Law Enforcement and you get the Super Sleuth badge, and you charge up a temp power which puts mission objectives up on your minimap.
