Okay, well, I'm still getting game crashes. Seems I can't stay logged in unless I play in Safe Mode all the time. So, could it be my drivers, since I can't update them, or could it be some bad memory? This really sucks.

I don't like the look unless it's a ninja or some other kind of sword wielder using it. Otherwise it just looks silly.

Well, my 8 yr old fixed my comp. I don't know what she did, and neither does she, but it seems everything is back to normal.

I have one creation that will go from red to blue, and one creation that will walk the 'grey area'. Other than that, hadn't thought that far ahead.

Okay, something happened yesterday to my comp, and I have no idea what. I left my comp in the hands of my cousin to do homework on, went to do some errands, and when I came back, my DVD/CD burner didn't work, and my CoH/CoV was gone from my comp. I tried to reinstall from the DVD's, but the drive didn't work. So now, I'm having to download from the FTP site, but I'm STUCK on the download around the 24 hr mark, and the downloader isn't moving. Anyone got any suggestions, or know how I can get an up to the minute version of the game? I really have no clue what to do. I'm afraid my drive has been reformatted, and I don't know why the downloader isn't moving.

Well, got to play about 15 min. this time before crashing. I thought it might be my drivers, so I tried updating to the newest Nvidia ones, 197.13 whql, but my computer wouldn't install them so I got rolled back to the 186.18 drivers. I still have 202GB of memory left, so I don't think that's it either. Anyone got any ideas?

Hey everyone. I was wondering if there was some patch or some changes to the game recently that would cause random crashes during the game? I've looked over the patch notes for March, and other than the DP patch, the other two have been changes to the AE system. Between 8:00 pm & 8:30 pm this evening, I crashed three times just standing in Blyde Square RP'ing with about 7 other folks. So uninstalled, and did a frest installation. I logged back onto a different creation. I was in Croatoa, and got to run from the University to the Tram before I crashed again. An SG mate said she'd been crashing in the evenings lately as well, so I figured I'd ask if this was something others were experiencing, or if it was just my machine. Any help is appreciated.

I enjoy City of Heroes, as a new player (my main is only lvl 38); however, despite having pre-ordered GR (for the dual pistols), I'm not really all that excited about this power. I joined City of Heroes to get away from fantasy MMOs. But that hope was soon blasted when I began to see zombies, mages, elementals, and other fantasy creatures littered throughout the game. Not to mentioned the myriads of magic-themed dressed "super heroes". Now we'll have demon summoning characters running around everywhere too.
As a long time comic book reader, with a modest collection of my own, this type of stuff is normally uncommon in the comic book hero world. I'm not saying it never happens, but the ratio is low. Most comic book heroes are aliens, mutants, or simply naturally endowed in some way (good with guns, bows, batarangs, etc.) Sure, sometimes superheroes fight magical beasts, or undead, or whatever, but what I'm getting at is that its very uncommon.
All I am saying is that I hope in future expansions we see some more true blue super hero stuff added, rather than magical powers, magical monsters, etc. If I wanted fantasy powers or to fight fantasy monsters, I'd go play any number of the myriad fantasy MMOs, a few of which do already have demon summoning classes.
Otherwise, the class looks cool, and I'm sure many people will enjoy playing it. It's just not my idea of a good addition to a super hero themed MMO. I very much enjoy the dual pistols class (very Punisher like), and I am looking forward to the graphics update, which I believe will breath new life into the dated graphics.
Paragon City even has a dept. for magically inclined Heroes, M.A.G.I. All you have to do is ignore all the mages, demons, and the like. I don't know if you're an RP'er or not, so it shouldn't be that hard. And if you are, just let everyone know you're leary of dealing with everything magic. I'm sure they'll get your drift. -

Just remember, the Devs love to pull a believable gag on April Fool's Day, so no matter what they post, take it tongue in cheek. Unless, you know, a patch comes down the pipe, and it actually happens. Then I'm, like, totally wrong.

Apex should be the one to introduce us to Praetoria. I liked him in the comic book.
I'd like to see more Wyvern patrolling Paragon City, instead of Longbow. -
