I rolled my eyes when Harvey Maylor sent me to talk to Maria Jenkins to find out the location of a secret Midnighter library, while I was playing my controller... who has been a Midnighter librarian for several decades. I mean, you'd think he would already know. Or at least that Maria wouldn't be quite so displeased about telling someone with every Midnight Squad badge there is.

I'm an officer in an RPSG. I do that.

What I want more than anything else is an alternate animation for Tough.
I mean, come on - I play a top-hatted, suit-wearing gentleman who is simply absurdly hard to kill, not friggin' Tarzan. -
Oh right, he is the avatar of Zeus, isn't he?
From now on I will no longer call anyone on Mary-Sue-ism for stating their character is States's illegitimate child -
Quote:DO WANT.purchasable defeat emotes
robots could do the power down
ninja's could disappear in a puff of smoke
jedi could just leave a cloak behind
Ninja one would have to leave something behind for targeting by teammates with rez/veng though. Robots could also maybe explode, leaving behind a targetable soot patch. -

Oh, I have plenty, all on Virtue and grabbed long after I would expect them to be gone based on their being puns, single words, or in one case generic-bait...
Unstar
Plasmette
Illumineer
Paindemic
Cordyceps - originally I missed it by like 30 seconds (free when I checked, gone by the time I got through character gen) but I checked it again on a whim a month or two ago, and lo and behold it had been released!
Silverwing Sentinel - I later found out that the Silverwing Sentinels are a faction in the Warcraft universe; this name is apparently more desirable than I knew
Zoombie
Jotunheimer
Argent Provocateur
Atomsmash
Power Balladeer
Spaceman Spiff - honest to god, this one was free on Virtue as of two weeks ago, even in the face of the upcoming retro sci-fi pack.
I also have some on Exalted, but these are less impressive because I scrambled for them as soon as Freedom launched:
Rumble Bee
Geiger Countess
Roman Candle
Caffeind (formerly on Virtue)
Old Hickory
Criminal Scum
Captain Slow
Macavity and Great Rumpuscat
Punchline
Roman Candle -

I think then, in that case, I propose a counter-challenge to Hitback: Find any depiction at all of a woman wearing a space suit like that from a sci-fi comic book or B-movie made between the 1930s and 1960s.
Also, just to be clear, I am not even slightly against the idea of the chunkier, flat-heeled male boot styles being given to the female character models. All I'm saying is that for god's sake, if this pack were released without any go-go boots in it, that would be a complete travesty. -
-
Really? Shows up in pulp comics and B-movies all the time (with allowances for what passes for a space suit, of course).
-
Hitback... this pack is not about astronauts.

Quote:You can also use this to check whether a name is taken without logging out to the character select screen. Say I'm in the middle of a mission and it occurs to me that I would like the name "Stupendous Man:" I can type /getglobalname Stupendous Man, and receive one of three responses:/getglobalname can tell you more than just the player's global name, it also tells you the character they're currently playing.
Let's say you met a character named "Fool's Golden Girl", and you wonder if that player's online. If you do "/getglobalname Fool's Golden Girl" you may get back:
"Arby Drab's player has the global name of @Statsman"
That tells you that "Fool's Golden Girl" is played by "@Statsman", and said player is currently playing a character named "Arby Drab".
This doesn't work if they're offline, or correctly hidden, naturally.
1) "Stupendous Man has the global handle: BillW" or "Spaceman Spiff has the global handle: BillW" - indicating that Stupendous Man is taken and the player, @BillW, is currently online.
2) "Chat handle '@BillW' is not online, hidden, or does not exist" - indicating that the name is taken by a player who is not presently online
3) "Chat handle '@Stupendous Man' is not online, hidden, or does not exist" - indicating that if this name is taken, it is the same as the player's global, or more likely that the name isn't taken at all. It's not 100% foolproof in theory, but I've never encountered a situation where the name was taken and the same as the global; it was always free. -

Yep. He's an Ill/Kin with Staff as a second primary. Cheating like this is not unprecedented in the Midnight Squad - Kadabra Kill is Grav/Kin/Emp.

Really? I didn't know I was a WWII veteran. Or maybe I'm a multi-eyed Cthulhubeast?
