Wow this is so obvious. Do they even play the game they make? Or maybe they don't bid at the BM or Wentworths then chat with someone. Or maybe they don't use the keyboard to move then chat with someone.
So silly. -
elec/shield on a scrapper will be nice but one of the largest holes is the no heal. I have an elec/shield brute all pimped out that I love but when it comes down to it my pimped out dm/shield scrapper is more survivable in most cases.
A lightning rod crit would be nice though. Oops I just peed a little. -
Hi all,
I'm going to build out my thugs/storm for PVE and PVP. A few points and questions:
- I am taking empty clips just for looks. Crazy Lou needs empty clips. I think it'd also be neat to get a kill with it. I know I don't have anything useful slotted in it but he needs empty clips!
- Freezing Rain and Tornado have so many slotting options I got a bit dizzy. What's the general recommendation for them? I went for a nice mix of procs and debuffs (for FR anyway).
- I went for HP as the main focus. What's the max? Is it 1200?
- I'm lacking accuracy bonusses but a lot of this stuff is autohit or near autohit so should I be worried about it?
- End usage / End recovery stinks on ice. How bad will it be?
- I have all of my accolades
- Power boost is buggy at best. Can anyone confirm if it works well with /storm? Knockback, Knockdown, slows, etc.
- The recharge numbers are off on the powers. It seems that mids assumes the Force Feedback procs are always hitting.
- I don't care if I get defeated in PVP and I won't be pvping a lot so that's why no phase.

I just finished building out the offensive portion of my spines/fire with melee defense at close to 39%.
I take too much of a beating and it's kind of disappointing.
I'll keep it for now.
What I love about it is the heal comes back quick. I can also deal a boatload of damage with caltrops, build up, burn, spine burst, ripper and throw spines. Huzzah.
What I don't like about it is that the S/L resists are only at 52% and 40% isn't good enough even against +1 lieuts. If I want to play it safe I pop a purple and an orange.
I was just hoping he'd perform better.

Softcapped ranged defense is awesome on a lot of corruptors. The softcap number is 45%. Just get hover and fly and you're all set.

I don't think they'll be deleting any more toons. They [censored] up. Apparently they were deleting valid level pacted toons because the unplayed level pacted toon leveled up from 1 to 50 within minutes, an hour, whatever.
I can get 1-50 in about 10 hours thanks to the auto sk. So level 50 in 5 hours during double XP? Sweet! Maybe 7 hours for a lvl pact to go from 1-50... awesome!
I'm looking forward to it and I'm not worried one bit that any of my toons will be deleted. If they do then I'll sue!

We Bugged and Petitioned this, and got a GM in pretty short order, but it's still a bug.
We ran the Manticore TF the other day. The team was capped at 35 and so were most of the bad guys. All but those darn level 40 Paragon Protector Elites. It was only those foes, and only in a few of the missions.

yeah, it was interesting (but do-able) last week I think it was. I was 30 at the start of the TF, and so those PPEs were +10 at first.

Yeah my team hit this last week. It's not an exploit so it won't get fixed anytime soon.
It took us a minute or so to figure out why our team was getting wiped out on a Heroic run of it. Nothing a little pill popping couldn't fix but it was very annoying. -
I went for End Recovery and Melee Defense myself. I'm not sure I'm going to like it but I'm going to give it a shot. I also dropped Impale for Caltrops. I think burn will do a lot more than Impale but some play testing will confirm this. I could always just drop Temperature Protection and pickup Impale as well.
EDIT: But that may [censored] up my slotting so it'd probably be Caltrops or Impale anyway.
The +rech and +acc that came out of this build aren't too bad either.

I thought it was interesting and funny.
It's easy to make people mad. -
The most survivable scrapper I have is my MA/INV. Invuln rocks because it has the best of both worlds with softcapped S/L defense numbers thanks to Invincibility and IOs as well as 70% S/L resists. And perma dull pain.
It's a beautiful thing.
I'd have to imagine a /WP will do real well too.
I recently IO'd out my DM/SD but since the resists are so low he'll take a bit of a beating from time to time depending on what he's facing. It's still fun but not as super as my MA/INV. -
I read the 21 page paper a while ago.
I think it's neat. Even on a small server like Liberty it doesn't take long at all to make someone crack in RV. -

Just get that Warshade temp teleport power and call it a day. You'll have to refresh it whenever it runs out but at least you'll have teleport.
I think it only lasts 3 hours or something. -
Well those were examples. It doesn't only appear to be successful hits.
Champion Smasher MISSES! Cybernetic Hammer power had a 50.00%% chance to hit, but rolled a 55.20.
I looked back at the combat log and I don't see any damage being reported after the Champion Smasher hits me. It just appears to be the swipers that are rolling better than 6.33.
Like this:
Champion Swiper HITS you! Cybernetic Blades power had a 6.33%% chance to hit and rolled a 2.12.
Champion Swiper MISSES! Sawblade power had a 9.33%% chance to hit, but rolled a 88.26.
Shadow Maul is recharged.
Champion Swiper slashes you for 261.37 points of lethal damage!

I have melee defense softcapped, ranged defense very close to softcapped and AOE defense right now at around 38% on my dark/shield scrapper. I am not defense debuffed, this is while running a straightforward Freak farm in MA.
Checkout the following:
Champion Smasher HITS you! Cybernetic Hammer power had a 50.00%% chance to hit and rolled a 44.58.
Champion Smasher HITS you! Hammer Clap power had a 50.00%% chance to hit and rolled a 36.59.
Most times it shows a much lower and expected to hit number for the same exact attacks:
Champion Smasher MISSES! Hammer Clap power had a 11.29%% chance to hit, but rolled a 21.92.
Champion Smasher MISSES! Cybernetic Hammers power had a 6.33%% chance to hit, but rolled a 80.18.

I verified that my friend on his spines/invuln scrapper was seeing the same thing. He just didn't feel the pain as much since he has much higher resistence numbers. -
Yeah I made the mistake of making a Ninjitsu stalker.
Outside of hide my numbers are:
PVE:
Melee: 48%
Ranged: 43%
AOE: 29%
PVP:
Melee: 34%
Ranged: 31%
AOE: 23%
Inside hide:
PVE:
Melee: 57%
Ranged: 51%
AOE: 92%
PVP:
Melee: 38%
Ranged: 36%
AOE: 48%
At least I get a little resistence in RV, but then again everyone does. -
I hate the new PVP rules. What is it, 2 or 3 of the same set bonus now? I pimped out my stalker so he has softcapped ranged and melee defense. I go into RV and the numbers are a lot lower.
They should've never changed the rules.

That MIGHT be referring to the bug where people can invite others to a TF after the TF gets screwed up by someone still on an AE arc. It had the chance of being a huge exploit.

It might have been tied to the mission bug where players who ad active MA missions were being invited to MA teams and it caused problems.

Right but this appears to have been fixed separately by catching it with the initial invite.
I liked the ability to be able to invite others after an MA arc had started.
Now if we want to get someone else in we'll have to reform the team or complete the mission first before inviting.
Just a tad inconvenient I suppose. -
2 slotted hover is good for 2 blesisng of the zephyrs. It helps to get to soft capped ranged defense. Add one more slot in for an LOTG +Rech.
The same 2 blessing of the Zephyrs can go into Fly as well.
The only reason to take hasten is to get the powers up more quickly and I've taken it on my kins for that reason. -
