  1. All I can say about Elec/psi/ice is that its the nastiest combo for elec there is. Mobs have no end to attack and even if they could their powers would not recharge for two months. Its extreme over kill.
  2. I saw go for it. Its not that the mercs are bad pets its just that many other sets are totally overpowered for what they do. I would say ninajs and then mercs need to brought up to the same level as the other pets. Ninjas are way too squishie for the damage they do and merc damage gets resisted way too much. In addition to that the medic is about as retarded as they get. He would work so much better if he did not have a much shorter range on its weapons compared to the others. Essentially to make mercs good you have to proc it out with the -resists proc in all the pets. Eventhough it might not stack its good that its going to be up most of the time helping the damage issues.

The only thing to use inf for at the end game level is the market, and you can't include the market in your assessment without also realizing that the drops from defeating enemies are the major incentive to defeat them at 50.
    This x1000000

Its the main reason why I hate the Apex/Tin man TFs. Fighting 54s is pointless, all it does is draw out the fight longer due to the purple patch. I can some what deal with it on AVs like Recluese and GW because those are supposed to be epic fights but when its every single npc it becomes an exercise of frustration. I dont know whether the devs realize it or not but due to the way the purple patch works it creates a huge inequity on powers. Such that it you see more teams built around getting around this.

For instance if tohit debuffs barely work against +4s you will see more teams built around defense buffs instead. Same thing with -resistance, you just get around it by using +damage. The last thing we need is a repeat of LRSF needing to have specialist teams just to make the newer content easier. Players will always gravitate towards the path of least resistance. That in itself is why that whole + level npc thing is a really bad idea that just needs to just die.
  4. I am ok with this so long as challenge does not = cheating npcs like the Apex/Tin Man TFs. Also the whole +4 enemies thing got really old fast. I dont care to fight mobs that are that high because its a complete waste in terms of reward over time. If we are doomed™ to a fate of fighting mobs that go up to +10 with all the future incarnate stuff then at least make the stuff worth fighting against in terms of drop rates not influence because its just always been faster to kill lower stuff for more inf/drops over time.
  5. I have not had time to test this yet but the trailer looks extremely well done. This is by far the best costume setup you guys have done so far. The only thing thats missing is like lizard and dino stuff. If those could have been in the pack I dont think anything could ever top it.

A very long time ago there used to be tons of ads but in magazines no one is going to bother reading. Now I have no idea as to what they are doing to advertise if they are even doing it at all. Its kind of sad because this game has so much potential but the epic phail job they do on advertisement pretty much grounded the game.
  7. Kind of upset they took the matrix route to do this episode. Its kind of old. Nice seeing Clark fly even if it was fake. Lastly not going to say the name but CoH marketing really needed to see this episode so they can finally know how to advertise for CoH instead of putting it on websites hardly anyone goes to or magazines barely anyone buys or depending on word of mouth. Thats all I am saying. You guys saw it.

OMG no, no, no, please kill it with fire quickly. Another movie down the drain. Why do they not pick Tom Welling for Superman? He has done it longer than anyone else. Just make him a money offer so big he cant refuse it.

As Nightblade said, it would be a hell of a feat of awfulness for this new Thundercats to be worse than the original.
I rather loved the voice acting in Thundercats. It added a dimension to the characters that added more to them than any extra storyline could. I especially loved panthro's voice as well as mum-ra

Thats the problem it could never be done right. I am so against the movie they are trying to do losely based on voltron. If it ever gets to the point where they are filming it I will do everything within my power to see to it that all copies of the film are destroyed before it ever makes it to the theaters.

I'm hard-pressed to think of a single instance where an 80s cartoon property was rebooted and it wasn't handled with care--and, dare I say it, sometimes came out a lot better than the source material. The people who reboot these shows, thus far, obviously have a lot of love for these series and have done right by them.

I say, give 'em more. Reboot Centurions. Reboot Bravestarr. Reboot Bionic Six. Reboot M.A.S.K. Reboot Jem--well okay, no, don't reboot Jem. It's too fantastically 80s and it should be left preserved in all its glitz and glam awesomeness.
Its never been better than the source material in any case. Thats what worries me. They always take the worst possible way in doing it. My biggest gripe in all cases has been voice acting and animation style. I look back on all the good cartoons from the 80's and early 90's and feel sad that one day when I have kids they will never get to experience quality shows like that because its just going to be a twisted rehash that should never have been rebooted. I would have to say out of all the recent cartoons the only one that stuck out above the rest of them has been Avatar. Its how a kids cartoon should be made, its something I could put on the same level as the 80-90's stuff.

I'm diggin' it. It's kinda hard to screw up a show that wasn't all that great in the first place anyhow *damn you nostalgia warping things*
OMG no, do not want, stop it now before they screw it up. Why cant folks just be original? Why do they always have to butcher childhood memories like this. The shows artwork was fine the way it was. Voice acting will be terrible compared to the original, it always happens like this. Some classics should remain just that.
  13. At this point in time defragging does not help much unless your running old hardware and running windows xp. Vista/Windows 7 automatically defrags your system when its idle and even then with todays hard drives seek times you will never really notice a difference in speed once defragged.

I broke down all the information and have it listed so you can figure out the path of least resistance.
I didnt see an option for upgrading an uncommon to a rare. If thats the case then I totally screwed up when making uncommons. Maybe I am just reading it wrong.
  15. I am actually shocked to see this on the test server so soon. I do have some questions. If you are already at the uncommon level whats the most cost effective way to do this to get a very rare doing the fewest TFs possible? Dont get me wrong I love the kill all TFs and intend on doing more of them. Lastly aside from the sexy ninja run icon what else is there in this patch?
  16. I was going to say thermals. Mostly due to grimlins being squishie so the shields help there. I dont recommend kin for any troller ever since the pet recharge nerf. While you do have fulcrum shift for damage in order to leverage it you would have to set the missions for more people to get at least 10 targets all the time. That can get to be overwhelming at times. Cold would work ok but I hate how long the good powers in the set take to recharge. I would have to entirely build the character around recharge to get around that. With thermals you can sap a bit with its single target sap power but its not like thermals needs any more sapping though. To me that set is what sapping should have been for all the other sets that can do it instead of the half ***** sapping we have on some powersets.

OMG please change the color there is no way to read that without highlighting it.
  18. You dont play dual blades on stalkers for the combos you do it for the aoe. Basically build up 1,000 cuts from hide every minion dead. The set was butchered alot for stalkers making the combos not worth the time. Its just best to leverage the aoe the set has.
  19. For shards has anyone tried this doing this instead? How about a team with 1 level 50 incarnate and the rest lowbies. Do a regular mission map set for 8 with 7 lowbies. Currently what I been hearing on the complaints is that the solo drop rate on shards is drastically different than whats on teams. Well what happens if you team but there is only 1 valid person who can get shards. This would be a nice test to run if I had 7 pcs and 8 accounts.
  20. I was thinking about changing my build on my kat/wp scrapper. I have a lot of sets I could slot that give +dam on them. But I needed to know how much extra +dam would kat have to slot to be equal to an ED capped BS scrapper?
  21. With all the folks leaving its got me wondering if thats what they are going to announce at some point.

^^^^This x 100000. Its like the only attack in the game that can hit stuff behind you when its supposed to be a forward cone.
  23. Aside from little tidbits about issue 20, I am really hoping they go in a direction to address alot of the older long standing issues that refuse to get looked at. What do you guys think they will talk about?
  24. I think alot of people are missing the point of the alpha slot. Its not to make you that much stronger by building on your strengths directly but to do that indirectly. Instead of ED capping yourself stop short of 1 slot if you can on a few powers. Allow the alpha slot to make up the difference. For instance on a SR toon you can 2 slot the passives and go with a defense alpha slot to make up the difference, or if using resistance set like invulnerability you can 2 slot the passive resists there. In those cases those slots can be used on another power where you previously didnt have the slots for. The only thing right now I dont like about the alpha slot is that it doesnt help all ATs the same. Its for the most part worthless on masterminds. Maybe once we get to the very rares it might make a difference when more of the bonus bypasses ED.
  25. Not a good combo at all. You have virtually no real way to mitigate damage. True enough there is the defense shield but that doesnt do much unless the pets could be soft capped. Ninjas are ALWAYS going to need healing, no matter how much buffing or debuffing you have. They are the most fragile of the pets. Which doesnt make sense since they are melee. In order to get the most out of the pets so they live to do the damage they are supposed to do you need to pair it with a healing set. While Pain might have the best healing I recommend thermal over anything else due to layering with the shields so you dont have to heal as much. I have done ninjas with every possible combination so far and thermals was the easiest to level them. If your looking for a challenge then go Ninja/Poison instead, thats a real mans powerset combo for a mastermind. Anyone who can take that to 50 I have much respect for them as I know their pain.
