If I had to guess - And this is only a guess - I would say it's the multiple core processor. Limiting your processor cores to 1 or 2 in BIOS might help.

I don't have the time to go into a huge amount of detail or even phrase things properly, but hopefully I can get the basics across... At least, how I accomplish light stairs.
First, I use hanging lamps to 'stack down' from the ceiling over the spot where I want the starting point to be. From there, you can stick a fluorescent light to the bottom of one of those. After that, if you use the large fluorescent light, you can just stack them below each other by careful positioning. If you still can't quite figure it out I'll see about making some pictures and diagrams to clear it up. -
It'll work. You can have five luck of the gambler recharges and five basilisks/kinetic crashes and you'll get the recharge bonus from all ten.
It was discussed before in a few places, give it a read if you're interested.

I'd settle for the shields just affecting the whole team in one cast, with increased endurance cost to match.

I love having Force Fielders on my team - I refer to them as a recipe for success. I love it when the more fragile members on the team don't have to worry about getting hit or mezzed and can continue to do what they do best.

Slash the price of this horse armor and I'll probably pick it up.

On my few characters without stamina, it will be a welcome buff. On the characters with, even if I were to take three new powers and NEVER USE THEM THE ENTIRE GAME, I'm still no worse off than I was before. I am completely fine with this change.

Option 1. Scrolling through some costume sections is already getting to the point of ridiculousness. You can't please everyone and I'm all for the 'greater good' aspect.

Don't you ruin this for me. I'm looking forward to having both Hurdle and Swift for my running around like a ninja.

So far most of the vigilante missions I've done make you out more like a comically inept Punisher than anything else. You go in ready to crack some heads and get to the root of the problem, but you end up never solving anything - Neighborhoods destroyed, the real villains were elsewhere... Heck, I think in one of them you end up just beating up an innocent scientist that ended up being coerced and transformed.

Quote:...Yes?I see - the fact that the devs changed their minds about something logically implies that they will change their minds about everything. Brilliant.
And I'm the one that's arrogant?
Actually, them changing their minds about something they adamantly opposed at one point means they are capable about changing their mind about other things as well. I do like this whole 'my way or the highway' thing you have going, though. Different opinions? NOT IN MY GAME, SIR. -
While perhaps not maliciously so, he's still the enemy of every living creature. Make him a villain.

I haven't run into -too- much trouble with my scrapper, but I'll admit there have been more close calls concerning ambushes than I've been used to. On the plus side, it leads to some fun screen shots.

Yeah, I ended up stuck in there, too. Wish I could be more specific, but all I know is a friend of mine mentioned that the exit door isn't too far from the place you find the badge on the island.

Quote:Be... Because it wasn't nerfed because of IO's. The damage modifier wasn't set to where it should have been. It was much, much stronger than it was supposed to be, IO's or not.I havent played mine yet (busy with GR) but i cant asy i agree with the nerf. Ill tell you why.
The game is suppose to be balanced around SO's. IF that is the case, then why nerf powers (not just SD) because IO's make them stronger? Isn't that the point of IO's? Especially purples, since they offer such big gains in %'s.
I think the DEVS need to take in alot more consideration of the effects of IO's and instead of nerfing everything AFTER the time and money is spent on them and make the weaker from the start of just let them be. If the game is truely based around SO's, then accept the fact that IO's are goning to make toons stronger. If people don't want to IO toons, then they shouldn't complain about powers being "overpowered" because that's teh whole point of IO's. (IMO) -
They were probably referencing how long it would take to buy a purple recipe using alignment merits.

I have 300 gigs of free space and received the same error. It's still doing stuff, so I haven't been able to see what's effected - But if it finishes up and there's a problem, I'm leaning more towards the permission issue than the lack of space issue.

It'd probably make more sense for you to drop the leaping power pool and take flight as opposed to dropping the fitness pool. Just sayin'.

I vaguely remember a game where every time you made a team, there was a separate XP bar for 'party level.' The more things you killed as a group, the more XP went into that bar. When it went up in level, I believe the team got more XP per kill or something to that effect.
It'd be a nice little thing to see implemented. If not an experience bonus, then other little random tidbits that feel rewarding for having played on a team. -

Yeah, that's true. It's just an unfortunate byproduct. The same thing happened in the past whenever the store crashed, one time for several days. I wouldn't be adverse to them updating how they track who has how many character slots, that's for sure.
