I do this constantly.

The heads have been shifted to the left, causing them to clip with hair, glasses, et cetera. You can see a gap between the head and neck on female characters that shows this. Hopefully the devs are aware.
-
Yep. Also noting a gap/disconnect between the head and chest portion of female models. Very noticeable when in the swaying animation after activating some powers. Head seems shifted to the left, which makes it clip through hair and leave a gap at the neck.
-
My understanding is that the contagious confusion proc makes the power quite useful.
-
Problem noted also on female model with Death Goggles. Large gap in the coverage.

Welcome! Please do join some of the more popular public channels:
- Virtue LFG Alpha -- for teaming of most any sort
- VirtueTFs 2010 -- for any sort of strike or task force, also trials
- Virtuebadges09 -- for anything related to badges
- VirtueUnited -- for shenanigans and teaming and chat (PM a mod to be unsilenced!)

No Dark Armor thread should go without a mention of the ToE proc, which will turn Dark Regeneration into an end recovery power rather often, given a spawn worth using it in.
Having played both sets to the top, my vote goes with DA, simply because that which cannot kill me in fifteen seconds will never kill me. Inv is a great set too though, really top shelf and most people would probably prefer it. -
If forcefields are so bad then why do I constantly get asked to alt to my forcefield defender to run TFs?
-
Right click the installer, choose Run As Administrator, wipe hands on pants.

I run this mish all the time and it's one of my favourites. I run it between x1 and x6 difficulty depending on the character. The ambushes make things fun for me. I run it on an AR blaster, a traps/AR fender, a DA scrapper, an SR brute, a fire/dark ruptor, a plants troller, whatever I got, and I don't have an issue. It may be that you need to turn your diff down, or use insps more, or whatever, but the mish is far from unbeatable.

Quote:I'm often amazed at how people can look at the incredibly sparse information provided by the market UI and determine that "flippers" are about their evil games, or that someone is "cornering a market" on a piece of salvage that costs a whopping 50K inf.Sure... they raise it out of the range of the people who have the most complaints against the market already. They prevent the market from working for people who want things quickly and cheaply.
Here's an example of what I mean.Quote:You're missing the fact that there's over 180 bids, and that the price has climbed from 120 million since last week to a peek of 180 million now. Last 5 as of this post:
180M
155M
175M
175M
~151M (all today)
Why can't everyone get it for 151? Because some silly person bought it and relisted it for 175M. The flipper prevented someone else from getting that particular, specific recipe at that lower price. How's that doing the market any good? The only person befitting is the flipper. Even the original seller got shafted, because someone else might have bid a bit more instead of the bare minimum.
I'm about 95% serious here. I cannot understand how people infer "flipper" from the last five sales. I see prices climbing and I infer "weekend" or I look at bids versus number for sale and reason "rare and/or popular" or I see one sale for 20% less than the rest and I think "lucky buyer." -
Gloom is awesome on brutes and DN is pretty great too, so without any experience with pyre mastery I am gonna vote Soul.

Quote:Join Virtuebadges09 and Virtue LFG Alpha, as well as the above, to maximify your searchification! You'll be dying to a tree/dying of boredom waiting for reactor attacks in no time!Generally I find teams via the global channels and not the (newly funky-fied and overly complex) team search window.
Channel's I use on Virtue are:
Virtue
Virtue TFs 2010
VirtueUnited
There are others; just do a channel search. Some require you to be unsilenced but you can read and send tells to people forming teams.
As for times, Virtue seems pretty active most of the time. Certainly by mid morning. Often stuff comes in waves. Nothing for a while and then four TFs together. Like buses. -
Quote:Holy damn this has been driving me NUTS since I upgraded to the 10.8 drivers. Thanks for letting me know about this! So, since the ATI driver update 10.8, I have lost my cursor when I move it over the clock on the right of my taskbar which happens to be where my travel power button is located in-game. Since the servers are down for maintenance, I have checked my drivers and 10.9 is available. So, naturally, I downloaded it and it immediately fixed my cursor problems! This is a pointless post for most everyone unless they had similar problems and I just wanted to shout it out. I am just excited right now. Please don't make fun of me.

Dark Miasma isn't weak in any sense of the word. You've got a fat AoE heal that also debuffs, a toggle that does a hefty -tohit and -damage, a monster fear cone that also does massive -tohit, and a big ol' -resistance patch. That's all before level 16, mind. Later on, you get a pet with a killer -tohit aura that also heals and spams other useful things, which allows you to really focus on the fun bits.
Storm is fun, it has good debuffs and knockback is not as big a deal as forum complainers make it out to be. Those who like it, like it a lot.
Consider Traps too, it's a killer set that pairs super well with lots of things. Don't listen to the fools that think traps is all about setting up and then hoping you can entice something into your mess; it's only as slow as you make it and plays very well with fast teams and soloing. Plus, hey, mez protection, -def, -dam, -resist, -tohit, what's not to like?
If I had to recommend you a set for your first fender, I would say try dark or traps. Rad is great but you knew that alreadyOne last thing: Assault Rifle is a ton of fun on fenders, plenty of AoE and everyone wants to be a gun-toting badass! My own traps/AR solos on x8, has since the early 30s and gives no **** about any drama the mobs think they got.
edit: read you this, Silas prefers ruptors but it's still applicable to fenders and is a GREAT guide to support in general. -
Quote:Came here to post this. This flavour of spawn has had the one runner since launch. This specific thing is WAI, and is relatively well-known.
The runner there was the "buyer". Find other groups that are standing around like this, and you will see that the buyer always runs. They usually say something like he did, too.
edit: keep making videos though because hot damn you have a wonderful voice. -
Basketball? Soccer? No costume parts or powers? More like the Piecemeal Pack. This will be the first thing you guys release that I won't be buying, and I am saddened that NCsoft/PS thinks this is any sort of value.

Building for S/L defence using kinetic combats, obliterations and reactive armors will keep you in the fight. Add in Tough/Weave and you will find your WP brute is quite the tough customer! Adding +HP and/or+regen is another option but I guarantee you will find that you live longer aiming for as much S/L defence as you can get.

I've never been made to feel unwelcome or superfluous on my bubblers. I have been asked to alt to my bubblers more than once. I submit that the problem with forcefielders is that there isn't enough to go around, so I can play my damned scrappers more on task forces >.<
-
I don't see any way to dress this up beyond "Hey I heard you in your home. You play city of heroes. So do I." Gonna be creepy no matter what. Constructing some pretense to make it less creepy is gonna be pretty transparent.
edit: leave a note under their door offering to help with their endurance problems -
Mobs fleeing at the drop of a hat is unfun and sucks. MM pets doing stupid things is unfun and sucks.
