An appropriate time?
Generally I find teams via the global channels and not the (newly funky-fied and overly complex) team search window.
Channel's I use on Virtue are:
Virtue
Virtue TFs 2010
VirtueUnited
There are others; just do a channel search. Some require you to be unsilenced but you can read and send tells to people forming teams.
As for times, Virtue seems pretty active most of the time. Certainly by mid morning. Often stuff comes in waves. Nothing for a while and then four TFs together. Like buses.

Man now I'm disappointed I thought this was a discussion about my favorite book as a child by Madeline L'Engle "An Appropriate Time" : pouts:
The best time to run a respec trial is...wait, people still run respec trials?
"You must never imagine, that just because something is funny, it is not also dangerous." - Neil Gaiman
"You know what I love? People who respond with aggression and belligerence thinking it replaces logic." - Blue Mourning
Yup. I've seen people setting up Respec runs fairly reecently on the global channels. (Both Blue and Red)
Generally the most active times seem to be in the afternoon EST during the week, and any time during the day/afternoon EST on the weekend. However, there are plenty of PST centered players like myself or folks from other time zones on a server that's as popular as this one.
If you're looking to broadcast for a respec trial team outside of the (exceptional) channels already listed, try to hit up Peregrine Island, Talos, Independence Port, Founder's Falls, and Steel Canyon. Between Ouroboros and Midnighter Club access you've got people of all levels hopping through these hubs.
Chances are good that if you broadcast in the VirtueTF channel during the afternoon EST or PST, you'll get your team filled. I might even be one of the teammates who answers the call.

What would be the best time to be searching for a respec team? Peak hours? Or some of the off hours? And where would be the best place to find people who wish to do the trials? Sorry for bringing up these questions - I'm sure there are several people who are like "Darn it use the search button to find that thread which has the answer you are looking for!" you say. But I'm ne-"That's no excuse! You can still search for the appropriate terms! Even if you are new!"
Actually it is an excuse - I'm so new I don't even know for what terms to search for D: but anyway could someone please answer my question? Regardless of the forum fanatic's rantings? |
