Some good has come out of servers downtime...

So, since the ATI driver update 10.8, I have lost my cursor when I move it over the clock on the right of my taskbar which happens to be where my travel power button is located in-game. Since the servers are down for maintenance, I have checked my drivers and 10.9 is available. So, naturally, I downloaded it and it immediately fixed my cursor problems! This is a pointless post for most everyone unless they had similar problems and I just wanted to shout it out. I am just excited right now. Please don't make fun of me.

I cleaned out my keyboard and flipped over my mousepad (which is just a folder I put my mice on)

I didn't even know the servers are down. I'm bogged down with translating a godawful biology textbook without actually knowing the first thing about molecular biology. Eh...

Translating from what language?

From English to Bulgarian. Be much easier if I didn't have to deal with things like "retroviral oncogene v-erb-B." I don't know what that even is, let alone what, if anything, it translates to.

The good news is that practically no one knows what that means, so you don't have to worry about most people catching your mistakes.

You need to be careful with something like that though.
I had bought my friend the complete Hokoto No Ken series one year for a Birthday/Christmas present. Unfortunately it was translated from Japanese to Chinese to English. so simple lines like "Smash him flat!!" became "Take a hammer to hit his body!!"

Many lols were had and it's an in joke we have now, but still.

Most science terminology does not need to be translated it's sort of universal.

My whole high school wrestling team got staff infections one year from not keeping the mats clean. The coaches and administrators were so embarrassed they wouldn't call it staff. They used some weird super sciency term like "retroviral oncogene v-erb-B" to explain why our team had to miss the last 2 meets of the year.

Staph, or Staphylococcus, the usual culprit in Staphylococcal infections is S. Aureus, bit of a nasty bug, especially in it's Incarnate form where it caps out in resistance to Methicillin.

Well, maybe it turned them all into janitors and teaching assistants and that wasn't a typo at all! You never know!
