Stun protection is more variable than you'd think. Most sets get the mag 10.38 toggle; the exceptions of Shield, SR and Nin can stack the clicky with enough recharge. In addition to that baseline all resistance based tier 9s (including Granite, SoW, MoG and OwtS) grant mag 17.3 and Regen gets a mag 5.19 auto power in Resilience.

With SoW being so readily usable Willpower is actually one of the better protected sets.

If everyone playing this game could run at 30mph you wouldn't get any medals unless you could hit at least 50. Syndrome's Law.

Even in game what feels slow varies; in a CoT cave anything faster than a brisk jog will have you impaled on a random lump of crystal or embedding your face into a torch in seconds; going the length of Nerva even maxed superspeed is too slow.

    Supers need throttles.

Considering that using unslotted hover you can meet the Olympic qualifying time for the 100 metres 'punitive' is faster than 'slow'.

Playing every AT as though it has a fury bar is a lot of fun.

Judging from how the brute one works I think these are less standard damage procs and closer to being IO interface. That is very rare even if not unique.
  8. Hence '+Max flyspeed'; the +defence is a nice touch, though it makes hovering on afterburners a rather big survivability bonus for being completely stationary 6" above the ground.

Are there any details on the jump attack?

    So take Air Superiority.

Boxing/Kick are useful in the early levels if you don't have a full attack chain and at higher levels as mules, between that and the Weave prerequisites I cant see my use of the fighting pool being affected beyond the order in which the powers are taken. Aid Self/Aid Other is going to cause a fair few changes, but less than before Rebirth replaced it on half my characters. Hopefully I'll be able to fit Pounce (or whatever the attack in super jump is called) in in its place.
  10. I disagree with your analysis of the comparative worth of set bonuses. +HP/Regen are not worth more to your survivability than defence/resistance; increasing the duration of all controls on a character that's primary purpose is control is not worthless. The only item I do agree on is the relative worthlessness of a damage bonus in a set not only locked to Brutes, but that explicitly recognises the AT has Fury.

That's the starting requirement. This is a more like random spot checks throughout the ride.

  15. Only if it hits a target in the area of effect when the 10s proc cycle comes round. So almost never.

Something like this, using the semi-transparent blue tinted humanoids from the dual pistols animations would be snazzy and hopefully non-frame-rate breaking.

AAO detoggles because it has a damage debuff.

That doesn't work, the recipes rolled are delivered at either the level cap of the set or the character's level, whichever is lowest.

Not all SSDs are that fast, but given the option, if I had to chose, I would even rather put the OS on a regular 7200 or even 10k rpm drive than the page file. The page file should always, always be on the fastest drive in the system period.
Unless it's a DRAM based SSD that would significantly reduce its longevity. Flash based SSDs suffer from performance degradation with prolonged use; it would be interesting to know how old the drive is.
  19. The AT is "Corruptors" with an 'o'.

This is not the suggestions forum.

Epic Pools have 5 powers now.

Epic shields provide ~20% resistance to smashing/lethal and 10-15% flavour resistance to another type; divide by 2 for defence numbers. Frozen Armour is the Ice Mastery version, giving defence to s/l, resistance to cold and token resistance to fire.

You are not going to get a mag 100+ hold into an epic pool. Holding Lieutenants is the best you are goign to do without stacking outside of actual control sets. The gradual slowing prior to the hold sounds like an interesting mechanic, but slows only have a noticeable control effect over prolonged periods, so actually all you are doing is delaying the hold. You can always attack held foes, and holds suppress defensive toggles instead of detoggling. Outside of PvP there is no reason one would ask to change this behaviour.

Corruptors are an AT with a blasting primary and a buff/debuff secondary. A high damage ranged attack with a recharge debuff is already outside the scope of the Epic pools for the AT. Adding a random +damage buff to it in no way makes this sound more balanced.

A damage aura doing superior damage? In an epic pool?

Granted; this would 'add incentive' to people picking an AT on the basis of whether it has a broken epic pool.

    Amusing read though.

    Nice try.

  21. If you get up to 4 slots it's best to use Performance Shifters: End Mod, End/Rech, End/Acc, Chance for +End proc. Slightly better recovery than three generic end mods plus the 0.2% average from the proc. 1.88% HP and 5% speed increase as a bonus
  22. Damage Per Arcanatime. The server works on 0.132s intervals and you can only activate another power after the server has registered that the previous one is over.

    DPA = [Damage] / (0.132 * (1 + roundup([Animation Time] / 0.132))

Psi-nado is a slowish cast, but extremely effective control for an AoE blast power.

IMO this is one of more exciting prolifs this round.
    Indeed.

4 single target blasts: 1 high chance sleep, 1 high chance immob and 1 with fairly reliable knockback.
2 ranged AoEs: 1 long cone, 1 targeted with a 20' radius and decent chance for knockup; both do significant -recharge (-80% between them).
    1 guaranteed stun.
    1 snipe.
    1 nuke.

With the long cast times (2.67/2.37s) on the AoEs and the DoT nature of psinado you wouldn't win any awards for spike damage even with aim. You are however getting a very nice mix of damage, control and mitigation.

My only concern is that as a primary you will be forced to take either both the initial blasts or the snipe.
