Looking through my list of unpublished arcs, I found one I'd forgotten about. The seed for creating this arc came from listening to the Pink Floyd song, "Run Like Hell", which was the name of the arc as well. This was before GR, and it starts out with you being accused of murdering a criminal you were apprehending and having to set out to clear your name. The plan for the last story was to somehow use the ability to fail a mission to give the player a way to decide if they were framed or if they actually did the deed.
Of course, there's no point to ever finishing this arc now. -
I'll take some time to run some of them (may not be able to get to all) sometime after Sunday. If I like them you WILL get rated, though so <phtphtphtpht>

Maybe if I have some sort of character concept that could use them, I'd be interested (obviously). But I was actually looking for something feather-y.
I might just have to check out that Valkyrie set.

At least you can run trials. The other night I finally leveled my first 50, unlocked my Alpha slot, and watched the crickets chirp in the channels when I was looking for something to run to get gear for my alpha. Not many people play in the wee hours of the morning when I can play.

I always start new characters in Galaxy, for reasons already stated by others. For the last couple years, its also been to use the AE building there. With about 125 characters, I've run the low level arcs to death, so I prefer starting out with AE story arcs, and the Atlas AE building is often the most annoying part of the whole zone.

The one arc I made 2 years ago was supposed to be the first of 5, one for every 10 level range. The unifying threat behind the arcs, and much of the final plot is worked out, and about half the second arc is written. I can just never sustain an interest in AE writing long enough to do much.

If, including what we can buy with out free points, VIPs are still getting just as much free content as we always have been, then I'm not going to care if every powerset, or every (fill in the blank) is free. As long as I'm getting the same overall value for my money.
If they end up cranking out twice as much content as before, so I have to spend more money than ever on this game if it is all something I want, then I'll still happily take treasure baths in my mounds of new content.
On the other hand, if I have to pay more and get less free than we used to, then I'll have to cancel my subscription so I can pay people to make sure the devs never enjoy spit free take out again! -
I love the redside ATs, in fact, most of my hero concepts fit better into the powers available to redside ATs. The Rogue Isles, though, just...suck. I've never seen the point in playing a villain in a land run by villains.
I've got about 25 or so villains, only one has even made it up to level 20, and most haven't been played for 2 years or more. After Freedom hits, I'll likely delete all bit a couple and reroll some of the others blueside. -
I'll be very surprised if they charge subscribers for new power sets unless they start cranking out a large number of them.

I used to think they hated villains, then the Villain Epic classes came out and when I mentally compared them to Kheldians, I realized that yes it is true, the developers really DO hate heroes, not villains.
Was on a team not too long ago with someone who said they were playing their first Kheldian, and any time a Void Stalker showed up on the map he would scream "VOID! GET IT PLZ!" like we were honor-bound to save him from death. And if he died it was our fault.
Nope, whoever thought up Kheldians didn't love heroes, if you ask me. Which you didnt, just sayin'.

I know CoH is the only program I've run that does not like the wheel click. I didn't have any problem setting it, but CoH was rarely able to register it being clicked.

In my opinion, you'd be better off creating a custom EB/AV that you can tweak to balance against a solo player. I've yet to run a mission that included an EB helper where I wasn't left feeling like some guy who decided to throw a towel around my neck and go out and play super-hero in comparison.

The Magic pack has the most costume pieces I actually use in it. Other than that, I've used the costumes and powers in the other packs very rarely (except, of course, for Ninja Run which I could not live without now).

My first was Mr. Fate, an FF/Eng defender. Also my highest level when I first quit the game, and only a few levels higher than that in the 4 years I've been back. Though I do have Mr. Fates of all ATs (except Warshade) on other servers now.

The game has been out for 7 years. Alot of ppl like to play lowbies true, but also alot of ppl dont, Hence Powerleveling and and now END GAME content. Sure you have to grind ( and i use the term loosley compared to ALOT of other MMOs this one is a laugh) a bit for the Merits to gain access to the costumes that once unlocked are ACCOUNT WIDE. Do you realize how big that is? Imagine having to unlock the costume parts for each toon, as you would have to do for gear in another game.
The Devs know this is a game of Alts. The Devs know there has been an outcry for more end content in the game for years now. You respond like a 3 year old in a Toys 'r Us screaming that she wants her Barbie NOW.
Earn your reward and be happy. You dont want to earn it and have everything handed to you be it free addition in the costume creator or new Paragon Store? Tough.
Take your tears elsewhere noone really wants to hear it.
Its one thing to put a costume set that says "I did incarnate content" behind the trials. Its another thing entirely to put the ability to get capes at level 1, or path auras, or emotes that have nothing to do with being an incarnate behind them.
You don't like that I and others think this is wrong? Tough. Take your hyperbole elsewhere no one really wants to hear it.
