either go for 4 or 11 kb protection, 8 is a wasted slot. 4 kb and a /fire is to little imo. some of the bonuses you are chasing wont do you much good with some of the slotting you have used.
here is an expensive build softcapped s/l +5 def on weave and maneuvers and better slotting on attacks, if anything you might get some ideas from it. This makes me want to make on of these =)

One thing that should be mentioned is you have no kb protection with this build. 4 would help but you need 11 or 12 to keep from being thrown around by avs with FA

Yeah I know you get footstomp at 32. You said the toon was level 30. It all comes down to if you can handle the rage crash, some cant. Fire will do more consistant damage becuase there isn't a period of no damage. But ss will do more damage overall.

Side note, if the ss seems lackluster its because you don't have footstomp yet at 30.

I'll pm u later tonight or tommorrow when I get on ukase, I can test this for you but Yoshima doesn't have that mission. My initial thought would be no its not worth the time since you already have the tank, however a well built ss/fa is such a beast once it gets rolling, anyway worth testing as I'm curious to how much faster a brute is than a tank.

I'll throw my vote out there for anything/anything stalker above everything else. You just never see them.

You are at 41.6% s/l this build is not soft capped, which is 45%. Fire blast is under slotted for the bonus you are getting from it, as is fiery embrace which is a HUGE bonus to damage. Small nitpick I would put a straight recharge in ROTP.

Heres my 2 cents. I don't know street justice very well but I do know FA. this build will softcap slash/lethal and gives you the ever important gloom and dark oblit. dark oblit is almost a must have for me on a /FA as an opener to lower enemies to-hit. taking agility will soft cap you, or you can move the kismet to maneuvers and add another defense in there to get to 45%. Enjoy.

Mine is softcapped to s/l. It is a very sturdy toon. I have been the only brute or tank on sucsessful baf runs. One of my favorite tions. Also tanked stf lady grey and itf with it.

could I get some feedback on this PVE build.. wasnt quite sure what to build for so I went with soft cap with as much recharge as i could get. First attempt at this thanks! trying to shy away from purples and PVP ios if I can

you can see them at the tailor in your powers window. don't pick storm elementals.. the hurricane is highly obnoxious you cant see anything.

FYI you can see all the pets at the tailor even if you hanvt bought them yet

If its a ranged toon go with ranged. It's not feasible to build for this on some ats. Really depends on what the toon is your rebuilding

I agree something isn't right with this.. you found other players in a pvp zone?

Random is random. I had all my tier 4 but 1. Ran about 30 trials getting nothing but uncommon. Then bam I got 3 very rares in row. This was on a ss/fa brute doing baf last weekend. It is random but I still think aoes matter in my experience. not sure if it makes a difference but for me it seemed I got better drops after I moved the toon into slot 1 on the character select screen. Good luck keep trying they will come.

12 points of kb on fire armor. You'll also want combat jumping as it has no immobile protection except
for burn which only works when you use the power. -
I like it a lot. shuffle a few powers around.. you don't need the extra slot in rage unless you like the extra crashes its still perma. took temp protect to free up another slot. not sure this build needs cardiac id go spiritual instead then you can drop a slot off hasten and it would only be down 7 seconds. throw a purple set in gloom and it would make up for the loss of vengeance recharge. took taunt because well, its nice to have and with this toon you will be able to tank.

One thing I did notice on those other builds is that they only had 4 points of kb. I'm on my phone so no mids but I will tell you I tried running this way and found on ss/fa that wasn't enough I was still getting knocked down in some av fights (which can lead to disaster if you are the main tank). Being softcapped is the way to go imo, plus my build still gets good melee def. I gave up some st damage as I dont have gloom but i can still take down a pylon in under 4 minutes. It really depends on your playstyle and who you normally team with. I mostly pug so softcap is better for me.

I've been using a modified version of thedarkeone's build. It has become my favorite toon by far.. I like having ROTP, ss for stealth, and fiery embrace so its hard to fit all of what you want in a build and also get in what you need. Also while soul is nice its not 100% necessary for non farming IMO. This build is softcapped with 60% recharge and no pvp IO. I regularly am the only one of the team to tank and it works very well. On pug Tfs I am usually doing more damage than anyone else due to burn and footstomp alone. throw in ageless and spiritual for more recharge and diamagnetic for the -tohit (although for now I run reactive because of the extra damage its currently doing) and this toon is an absolute beast.

If I had to take one it would be combat jumping just for the ease of battle movement it gives. Plus it is awesome with super speed. Maneuvers offers more defense though if you are close to the soft cap.

excellent build dark one.. does the -res proc in blaze aura help much? how would a damage proc work instead?
I have another question also, why 12 points of KB? what actually can hit through that? is 8 enough? -
Mind fire when perma Dom is great. But so is any Dom. Mind/fire mostly single target. Your aoe will come from terrorize or the patron pool. Personally I took fire for the fireball. Breath of fire is decent at lower levels not so much at higher ones because of the time it takes to position for the cone. I can't comment on fire/ as I only have a mind/ but it's great at control as you can take out any boss in a second with confuse.
