Nobody rolled a StJ/FA brute? Its a weird combo? Because works fine...

I posted my build looking for advice in the brutes, build workshop and even scrappers forums, because Im looking for advice, specially with all those new Alphas...
But nobody replied, makes me think this combo is weird and I dont get it.
It works fine, love mine. No redraw, good AoE, some mitigation in form on knockdown, self-heal and self rezz, and awesome damage and endurance control.
Fire embrace, combat readiness for combo:3, then spinning strike with knockdown then burn, while fire aura is active and ending with fireball deals TONS of damage.
Anyone can comment this build then?

Heavy Blow, Sweeping Cross, Blazing Aura, Rib Cracker, and to a lesser extent Fire Blast are all pretty low for accuracy. Turn off Combat Readiness to see true to-hit numbers. (On further review, most attacks are lower than I'd be happy with for accuracy. If you seldom fight uplevel baddies, it may not bother you much. A kismet and a sprinkling of +Acc bonuses would go a long way.)

You have an odd mix of S/L (kin combats) and melee (ToD) defense bonuses.

Temperature Protection is overslotted, the 3rd Rect Reticle in Combat Readiness isn't doing you much good, Fiery Embrace needs more recharge, and there's little that 8pts of kb protection helps against that 4 doesn't cover- with a few exceptions, kb comes in mag3 or mag10 (or magHolyCow). You could push it up to 12pts with a BotZ in Super Jump. Swap the Dam/Range piece in the posi sets for the proc, you'll still get to the ED dmg cap. Replace the def/rech LotG in weave with a def/end.

Personally, I really like hasten on my /FA builds to bring up the heal and fiery embrace faster. Also, you might consider using Soul Mastery instead of Fire to free up a power pick (I'm guessing that you're not planning to use the immob, as it's unslotted).

Been considering rolling one myself actually - I gather both sets work better on brutes, as the bonus damage from combo finishers and fiery embrace benefit from fury but are completely ignored by crits.

Heres my 2 cents. I don't know street justice very well but I do know FA. this build will softcap slash/lethal and gives you the ever important gloom and dark oblit. dark oblit is almost a must have for me on a /FA as an opener to lower enemies to-hit. taking agility will soft cap you, or you can move the kismet to maneuvers and add another defense in there to get to 45%. Enjoy.

I tweaked the build from the first post just a little. It matches up with a lot of what EJI was saying. You want either 4 points of KB or 12 points, 8 won't cover much more than the 4 will under 99.9% of the game. Sweeping cross has the damage enhancement swapped with an acc/rech one and you still are ED capped on that power. fire blast and ball have some slight changes, and that BU proc will be very nice if you use fire blast often. All of your ST attacks have been given KC sets and a Mako's to even out the acc/end/rech values. And last but not least, you are one small purple away from s/l soft cap,

I have updated the build a bit, I think im softcapped for S/L now.
I hate Blazing aura FX so much, now I got Re-active T3 Im thinking about switching Blazing aura for Spring attack, with same sets and slots (6 Obliterations).
What do you guys think?

I wouldn't advise this. Blazing aura isn't just about damage, it is also your taunt aura. With a bunch of ST focused attacks in StJ, you might find that you aren't the aggro magnet you want to be. Of course, you might find this good or preferential at times. I think there is a way to downgrade or disable FX when you are closeby, but I am not sure if this applies to your own toon's FX. I personally would never NOT have Blazing aura on a /FA toon.

You are at 41.6% s/l this build is not soft capped, which is 45%. Fire blast is under slotted for the bonus you are getting from it, as is fiery embrace which is a HUGE bonus to damage. Small nitpick I would put a straight recharge in ROTP.
