I'm going to disagree with this idea for the sake of disagreeing with it.

You people that pre-purchased got months of pistols and demons that the people who really wanted to wait for a box they could hold in their hands won't get. So suck it up.

Quote:Just letting you know.Hunting missions shouldn't be affected if by that you mean "Defeat X Baddies". Only sub-tasks within missions should be affected by this change. If it were to be the case, however, please let us know so we can get it fixed.

Given that LGTF Hami is an encounter than some teams I've been on in the past have been unable to complete, um, I'm not really looking forward to it being made harder.

Quote:...How is a low level AV really going to be *that* exploitable? I mean really. This is lame.Patch notes for build 1800.201003300904.20T5r.
- Removed Koago (of the Minions of Igneous group) from the list of selectable bosses. Any missions that contain this critter may now be invalid.
Quote:Rewards
- Removed the rewards for all ‘errand’ tasks within missions. These small rewards were exploitable with the new mission abandonment feature. Mission completion rewards are not affected, including patrol missions.
Edit: Just tried a variety of missions. The Origin of Power Arc gives no XP for the fed ex missions. The hero Cape mission gives no XP for fed ex missions. Streethunts from Borea give no mission complete XP. This is total bunk. -
Quote:I played the first two of these arcs all the way through. It was fun enough. I got to pick on Hellions in the first one which is always a good time. The second one gave me a horrible oranbega map with a glowie hunt in that 500 foot tall room with the central rock column, not so enjoyable. The third arc I stopped playing when I got a map of Banished Pantheon and mission objectives that looked like another way of saying "Kill All." I might give it another try when I'm not so tired of being lower level and have the patience to fight Storm Summoning enemies without all of my kewl powerz available.<b>Library Restoration Project - Perez Collection (Mission ID 13088)</b>. It's low-level (8-12), dealing with gathering the collection taken from the damaged main branch that was once in Perez. Should go quickly with almost no problems...
<b>Library Restoration Project - Hollows Recovery (Mission ID 328252)</b>. (Levels 15-20) There's been some evidence the Circle of Thorns hired the Trolls to help steal the collection, so you're bound to bump into some Orges and Calibans in some dark forboding caves.
<b>Library Restoration Project - When Astoria Fell (Mission ID 331736). (Levels... 30-40 and 40-50 I think)</b> While the Banished Pantheon were busy creating the darkness that consumed this neighborhood, the Circle raided our branch there and may have been involved in the disappearance of a good friend of mine... Hypathia... If you can find out what happened to her as well as the collection, let me know... -
Did it start yet? How about now? Now? Now? Did it start? Someone tell me if it started. I want extra time. Did it start? Did it star---ack *is murdered*

Okay Smurphy! Like I told you in-game, I've got an arc. KiTTY thinks it's ready for the Smurph-league. I hope you like Rikti, because I've got a whole lot of them. Lots and lots of them. And they mostly want to eat your face because you're going to get right up in theirs and yell NO U. (Hey, you said Rikti kill people at about the right pace, I figured that'd be a good place to start!)
Therefore I give you Shift, aka arc 400487. Run it because the Vanguard needs your help. Run it because you like carnage. Run it because you really want to see your teammates die in horrible ways and then be exploded in a cloud of radiation. Mostly, run it so I have a chance at getting your money.(Yeah, I said it.

I joined when zone PVP was still kinda new and shiny and even back then I wondered why the devs didn't just have one PVP zone that anyone could get into instead of segregating us into four different zones. I can kind of see why they did what they did, each zone has a slightly different meta-game and to some extent they play differently because of the level caps, but making it harder for people who want to punch other people to find each other never made a lot of sense to me.
-
I'm a bad person, I chuckled a little.
-
Frankly, we need to remove rewards from the regular game too to curb all the farming in Peregrine and Grandville. It's sickening that people want to level their characters and get shiny things like purples.
-
Each piece of the story should stand on its own, ideally. I know I don't play multi-part story arcs simply because I don't want to relive the something like Crimson's never ending missions without getting some merits or something out of the deal.

http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Excelsior
Given the tubes and stuff you see on freak tanks filled with green fluid and its origin as super soldier serum, I'd guess Excelsior is meant to be purely intravenous.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Superadine
It specifically talks about Superadine being injected, but also talks about pills, so it probably comes in multiple (liquid) forms for different markets.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Maria_...e_the_Fixadine
There's also a Praetorian Superadine called Fixadine, which has some small undisclosed differences.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Rage
Rage seems to come in ampoules for injection, but it also seems to come made to look like Superadine, so maybe it comes in multiple preparations too.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Eliza_...the_drug_Shift
There's also a drug called Shift, which I'd guess is related to the Outbreak drug since both are manufactured by the Lost and are hallucinagenic.
I don't remember if there are other (super)drugs mentioned in the game. -
Probably.
If I were trying to make a mission like that, this is what I'd probably do:
1) Pick an indoor map.
2) Put an ally that betrays at the beginning, with the enemy group set to "Single" so they spawn alone and get rescued when you get near.
3) Put the glowie you need to lead him to at the rear of the map.
(Alternate) Put the ally and said glowie in the rear of the map for a shorter walk, and possibly better writing (and I guess 2 and 3 need to be reversed since the glowie should exist before you can tell the ally to betray at it)
4) Populate map with other glowies to click with awesome clues
5) Fill all the map spawns with otherwise non-hostile characters
6) Profit!
It's not exactly what you want, but it should work well enough. -

Quote:They probably liked it then. The oddest one I've ever gotten was, "Needs more cowbell."
Weirdest comment I ever had was from right after the MA came out. I got a comment that I couldn't parse. I got other people to try to parse it, and three or four days later my subconcious had finally figured it out. He'd taken a level 50 and a level (something low) in a mission and was killing level (something low) enemies with his un-exemped level 50 and complaining about the lack of XP. I was kind of dumbstruck for a little bit, because that was the last thing I would ever have expected to get downrated for. So chalk this one up as my only experience with an AE baby.
Oh, here it is, I did save it afterall:
[Tell] 2009-05-15 03: 32:09 Message From [redacted] : Feedback on Architect Mission Ambush City: Or how I learned to stop worrying and love the ambush.: Alright, for one, there were absolutely NO bosses. 2, with every single one level 12, some people (such as myself) waste several hours to kill everything and have nothing to show for it, zip xp. None, it was a total rip off. -
In the four or however many years I've been playing I've done the abandoned sewer trial 3 times: Failed, suceeded before they fixed the auto-exemping, suceeded the legit way.
-
So when do enemies get fixed so they can't target you while you rez? Because if we can't hit Freaks when they rez, why can they target a player when he pops an Awaken - or during said player's stun following the awaken? Fair is fair.

How are all the other temporary solutions that are going to replaced with permanent ones working out? That Cathedral of Pain sure is a whopping success!
