Mission Architect Question
Better to change names.
Ambush City, Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Ambush - Arc #1043
Strife of the Grave - Arc #3409
Shift - Arc #529411
Technically, I believe even "satire" is frowned upon if its acorn doesn't fall far enough away from the tree - not that that's stopped anyone before. This has to do with copyright matters and as usual they're pretty strident about such things (not that I blame them). But I'm sure with a little thought you could still pull off a good satire without breaking any obvious rules.
I didn't change the names much in act III of "Why We Fight" (#253990)....

I would be leery of doing what you did. It's a single critter in a single mission so that's probably why you got away with it, but I would suggest erring on the side of caution.

It isn't necessary to use the names either; if you create an angst-ridden vampire with a sparkle aura and nothing to angst about, everyone will know what you're mocking.

Is there a way to add auras to custom characters in AE?? I haven't stumbled across a way to do that, but it would really be helpful if there is!

Thanks!
Yer darn tootin' there is! You should find a bar for "auras" down at the bottom of the column ("Head", "Upper Body", etc.) in the costume editor. I believe you do have to pay some tickets to unlock them however, so if you don't see it there, that may be why.
Oh thank you!! I will have to go buy that, because this will be soooooo much better with sparkly auras!!! Thank you, again!!!
Forgive me if this is the wrong place for this question, but I'm wondering something.
I want to create a mission arc that pokes fun at the godawful Twilight novels. Do I have to change names and such, or can I do straight out satire?
Thanks!
