Drugs in CoH

Now, it's strongly suggested that excelsior is taken intravenously. The Freaks and their pumps support that.

But what about superadyne? Is it a pill, is it taken via IV? Or is it one of those multi-form drugs like heroine?

In game, they have "labs" so it's obviously a manufactured drug of some sort, but what form does it come in? What do you think?

I'm thinking injection, maybe because of the way Supa Trolls look like steroid freaks.

Could also be added to drinks, hence why they have all those raves.

So that would explain those vats in the superdyne lab skull mission then. I'm seeking this info because I wanna write something and possibly do a short film.

I believe there is also reference to dyne coming in a black pill form too.

edit: The wiki has this to say.

"The drug itself is described as a green liquid, and is distributed in small doses in elegant black capsules, to make it appealing to those who are always looking for the latest designer drug."

Sounds like a gelcap for small doses, or perhaps ingested for larger ones. Supports the rave theory also.

It can be swallowed, like in a pill. It can be directly injected. It can be mixed with drinks. Supatrolls I think injected it into themselves.

I think Rage is a pill too, but I can't remember the source for that.

Since Supradyne gives you tough skin, often to the point of growing stony growths on it (Calibans), I imagine pills would be much more convenient than injections for the habitual user.

Not necessarily. It could be seen as a direct allegory for heroin addicts searching for new injection sites.

Or perhaps I'm being a little dark there.

Given the tubes and stuff you see on freak tanks filled with green fluid and its origin as super soldier serum, I'd guess Excelsior is meant to be purely intravenous.

http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Superadine
It specifically talks about Superadine being injected, but also talks about pills, so it probably comes in multiple (liquid) forms for different markets.

There's also a Praetorian Superadine called Fixadine, which has some small undisclosed differences.

Rage seems to come in ampoules for injection, but it also seems to come made to look like Superadine, so maybe it comes in multiple preparations too.

There's also a drug called Shift, which I'd guess is related to the Outbreak drug since both are manufactured by the Lost and are hallucinagenic.

I don't remember if there are other (super)drugs mentioned in the game.
