actually some things were changed on the low end.
Some of the old non-standard proprietary code was junked and re-written to, as I understand it, a stricter OpenGL specification adhearence. Theoretically this should have improved and standarized image quality across all OpenGL adhearent API sets (1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 2.0, 2.0 ES, and 3.0), but instead wound up appearently caused issues on certain vendors drivers: e.g. Intel, e.g. Fglrx / Catalyst drivers of a certain age, e.g. Nvidia drivers of a certain age.
Hence the number of Intel users suddenly locked out of the game and finding shader quality wasn't an option, and the known issue with Geforce 4 crashes. -

It was simple curiosity, since adding a space before a punctuation mark is not taught in any school. Not entirely sure why you went off on a tangent. You type too fast, which forces you to add an extra space before every punctuation mark? That just makes no sense...
Although with the desire for negative rep, it may be on purpose just to irritate people. -

In pre-17, I'd go into N64 mode for those, but it doesn't seem we have total crap graphics mode anymore. I think what used to be slider full right is now the second tick on the slider. -

ALSO: If you're downloading a patch, that means the patch server is up, not necessarily that the game is available to play. GENERALLY, yes, the two coincide, but several times it has not. -

Check to see if there's any other kind of hotkey software on your computer. I have an ATI, but the hotkey fix did not work for me. I found yet another hotkey system running that I deleted (Intellitype) and it cleared it all up for me. Not sure if it'll work for you, but worth a look.

Technically base raiding with the IoP the big centerpiece to the CoV advertisement. It would of been end game work cause it would work more of an idea of a raid.
If the CoP trial worked it would of helped base raids increase in popularity and probably brought in more other trinkets to raid for. Although to say it was never significant part is en grossly wrong since it was stuck on every CoV box.

It was a core advertised centerpiece of what CoV was supposed to bring to the game. Clearly the Devs thought SG base raiding was going to be a significant part of the "end game content" of this game. Obviously that didn't happen and what we were left with was a sadly "swept under the rug" scenario of a major game system left buggy and unused. -

Also, if we're talking about all of this from a roleplaying perspective, keep in mind character versus player knowledge. The bios that we're reading on the website are not necessarily representative of what a character in the game may know or their knowledge may be clouded by other factors. For example, perhaps a hero character is a big supporter of law and order. All he hears about Praetoria on Primal Earth is that it is run by the cruel, dictatorial Tyrant that has driven his populace into obedience through fear. This could cloud the characters perception. But what about once they travel to Praetoria and see (on the surface at least) an orderly society, with little to no open crime, everyone living in relative peace and safety? And this all came about because of Emperor Cole. If your character idealizes law and order, what is not to like about this person? The reality you see before yourself is nothing like what you've heard before.

Frankly, I'm not going to host every bad joke pic or reference pic I post. If it's something important or something of mine personally, sure, but a silly "O RLY!" pic or something, yeah I'm "stealing" that bandwidth and I don't care. If it disappears, it disappears.
