    My birthday

Uh, what? Have you started your celebration early (or possibly continuing from last night)?

    EDIT: Oh, and Happy Birthday!

That is not what I am insinuating, I am insinuating that it could be both an incentive and reward.
You want an incentive program, suggest an incentive program. Trying to shoehorn it into Vet Rewards doesn't work.

    Ghost Widow!

I'm pretty sure suggesting that the people who love him would like to have sex with him will get you burned at the stake.
Well, there is always Rule 34.
  4. Good point! Brings back to mind all those comic debates about "If Thor is bulletproof, why does he spin them away with his hammer? Or Wonder Woman block them with her bracelets?"

But when I tried to create Thor as an AE character (I wrote a story about Ragnarok happening in Paraon City), it came up as unavailable because of it's association with Marvel Comics, even though they have zero claim on the name.
I assume it just came up as unavailable. They don't tell you why, do they?

Besides, Thor has a gajillion names, just use one of those others.
  6. Ha! And conversely, such reminiscence just makes me glad I didn't start til I6 (although I still enjoy hearing the stories).

Oh, yeah, I got what you were saying. The confusion arose because I should have quoted Daemodand for clarity as to where I was referring.

And I tried Dungeon Runners. Dull as dishwater.

I was referring more to "all games lose their population when they go to free". Sorry for the confusion (which I can see now). And it may not even fit, as FreeRealms didn't "go" free, they always were (with an option for more if you pay).
  9. I'd bet this just falls under "we reserve that for us, not you". It may not make sense to us, but I'll bet there's an underlying software reason somewhere.
  10. I'm still convinced our nuclear weaponry did something horrible to the Japanese genetic structure. Witness Katamari Damacy.
  11. Yeah, then give 'em a chance to get to you on a weekday. If this is happening to more than a few people (and I've seen other reports), they may be a little swamped.
  12. Apologies for assumptions, but I did say it wasn't efficient. I didn't specifically say you were doing that. But sorry anyway.

EDIT: Oh, and using the search can be problematic sometimes these days. Lots of people out there on search hide to avoid bad PUGery and blind invites that might join if they see you on the server's channel, if you haven't tried that already.

Did you suggest that CoX do it or the player base individually? Official or viral?

At one point you could simply hover over the enhancement in the store and it'd tell you what it did, without having to right click. For the life of me I've no idea why that handy little feature was removed.
The return of this would solve all the mentioned problems for anyone but the most clueless. I too was baffled as to the reason for this disappearance.

You throw your gun at Superman. It doesn't work, but they try it every time.
You beat me to it. That is just so dumb, but yeah, they do it all the time. "Bullets didn't hurt you, but maybe this 2-3 lb. blunt piece of steel will!"

    SpittingTrashcan gets one addition:

Dressing as a gang member is not a crime. However, if you approach these loiterers, they will pull weapons on you and attack - and assault is a crime. Attacking before they attack you is questionable, though.
While dressing as a member of a known criminal organization is not illegal per se, it's certainly cause for "investigation". And as you note, when you "investigate", they attack.

    Samuel_Tow thinks too hard:

For no reason and with no authority to do so?
In the comics, the majority of super-heroes have no authority at all. They're masked vigilantes. And EEEEVIL corporations are EEEVIL so that makes it all right. But even Superman and Capt. America have done it from time to time. And there's always a reason, even in the case you're talking about, although often a flimsy reason.

    Quote:
Makes me glad I don't read comic books, then.
Well, that certainly sheds some light to me on why you've seemingly not understood some common comic book tropes in the past. Noted for future reference.

And I never ever see anyone over in FreeRealms.

If it was left in canon history that Captain America or the Justice Society had used a perjorative term for the Japanese people during World War II would it make them any less heroic today if it's shown they had grown beyond their initial prejudices?
To some people. Some never forgive or see the context. I know several people that will never ever touch anything by the great Will Eisner because they consider Ebony White in The Spirit to be proof that he was an evil evil racist. **shakes head sadly**
  20. It probably has to do with screen resolution size.
  21. I don't know if I'd describe John Lydon as a "real person". He's pretty much been a cartoon his whole life.

I've never been a fan of the mountain of HP for AVs in general. Felt very anti-climatic when I first reached AVs waaay back when. Reichman is just a bigger stack.

Still, the rest of the TF make it fun for me. I also really like the unique roles for ATs and countless waves of ambushes they put in villainside.

It'd be nice if he wasn't just a bigger stack of AV HP, but oh well, if it annoys you enough to not make it fun, just run the other TFs and avoid this one like the plague like some people do.
I haven't even done this one yet. I was out of the game for six months and since I came back in January, I've never seen the call go out to do it on our server channels. I may just be missing it, but yeah, I think people are avoiding it (and I can see why from this thread). I'll probably have to make it an SG event to do it.

. . . how about you just don't post in this thread then?

Oh, and sorry for feeding the troll, everyone. Sometimes I have a moment of weakness and think I'll actually get through to her.
You people have the weirdest troll definition I've seen on any message board.

GG's not a troll. She's stubborn and hidebound and sometimes a bit of an attention ***** (no offense meant. I am, too, that's how I know), but a troll? Trolling is about an attempt to disrupt for no reason. I've never seen GG intend to disrupt, she just gives her opinions where some people don't think she should, which is baloney.

Now Graystar....THAT'S a troll (I was actually surprised to see him post some normal posts lately).
