Okay then - How about giving Patron/Ancillary Shields (along with Tough) the PVP treatment, so I don't get smacked for 900 damage because I didn't side swap with my Controller for Mu Mastery?
-
...Unless you're a Dominator looking for more 6.25% Recharge - Heck, you even 6 slot the taunt!
-
I really hope not - Cimerora's enough of a pain as it is.
-
Quote:I just checked - you can't.Did you test that? Because I just went on beta and tried to boost an ATIO, and wasn't given the option to do so. I tried it with one that hadn't been catalyzed and one that had, just to be sure. And I was able to boost other IOs just fine.
I'd thought I remembered these not being boostable. It does change things if you can boost them, but I don't believe you can. -
The other problem is that all iTrials give the same reward - a random uncommon salvage component, or an astral for the basic badges, with a random rare for the Mo - even in lambda, this isn't suitable for big three badges (synch is okay, I guess), let alone Keyes, UGT, etc. etc. - It's like they want to make a whole BUNCH of anniversary badges that only those who have a LOT of free time after launch can get - the reward certainly wont encourage others to give the new badges a try.
-
This - I did it before and after the changes - The three times we had to beat him were CAKE compared to when he went 100% Smashing/Lethal resistant.
-
Basically, though Enzymes are still miles ahead for defense powers (I'm gonna put a level 50+5 Dark Watcher's Despair ToHit Debuff/End in darkest night on my Brute and maybe Widow).

B recipes are usually based on your own level unless its a lowbie arc like Twinshot's. If you're 50, you'll get level 50 recipes for pool B unless the recipe caps below - most of the time, you'll only get level 50 recipes from Citadel due to weighting (I think - all my recipes from that TF were my own level).

Quote:First, Ion isn't torpedoed by a dead target anymore- unless the target explodes or disappears upon death, leaving no corpse behind. Second, Vorpal is insanely frustrating for me to use - 9 times out of 10 I get hit by a lag spike and fire it in the wrong direction. But Vorpal isn't terrible if you can line up perfectly (which is a problem if I want to fire it from afar).Seems to me that the selling point of ion, aside from the fact that it is way cool, is its ease of use. All you have to do is target something that won't die in the next two and a half seconds and you're golden. The only easier judgements than that are pyronic, where it doesn't even matter if the target dies, and void which of course requires you to be in the middle of things. So actually, ion is sort of in the middle in terms of ease of use, heh. But it is easy to use and it is fun to use.
The other consideration would be secondary effect. Ion drains endurance, eh, that can be pretty good. Void is better, that damage debuff is massive. Pyronic... well it animates fast and is easy to use! The only judgement that actually seems like a comparative stinker to me is cryonic, and mainly because there is a radically better cone-based judgement out now. -

Quote:The explore - my point was that the devs have the ability to relocate badges - not whether it would be appropriate.Which number 2? The plaque or exploration point? And would it even make sense to place a Galaxy City explorer badge in another section of the city if we assumed that they could be moved? Would these badges make sense if they appeared in Atlas Park, Steel Canyon, or King's Row?
-
Quote:Try getting atlas tour guide nowadays with a PRE-I21 Map pack - The Number 2 Badge was moved a SIGNIFICANT distance - so far I needed to open up the website to find it.But can a map badge also be moved? Furthermore, a lot of the plaques were tied to events occuring at where they were located, so the rationale still doesn't work.
-
Without the echo, no Hero rolled after I21 would ever earn the Atlas Medallion without sideswapping - So I'm pretty happy it's there.
-
Only time I ever used a Geometry Hole was in I6 for the Sweet Tooth Badge (it was the only way to get that explore for like a month after launch).
-
Didn`t read but if they ``fix`` PVP farming they should fix PVP and make it worthwhile - as in rewards that drop more than 1/100 times you manage to get a kill.

Quote:After 35 your storyarc Bonuses start to skyrocket - when my Bane finished Gaussian`s Arc at level 46 it was worth 550K exp - or nearly two bars right there. There`s actually a bigger problem with getting TO 35, than to 40.And this avoided the RWZ and Cimerora? Did this include the Patron arcs?
Granted I haven't leveled a new villain in a while so things may be different now. But when I was leveling him there wasn't enough content to get from 35-40 without extensive use of papers and repeat runs of Ice Mistral -
I doubt it was a coincidence - MOI bosses show up in the first mission of SSA 1.1.

Quote:...Wait. Isn't there a gigantic gulf between the two sewers? Don't the regular sewers cap out at 12 or 13, and Abandoned Sewers don't kick in until level 35? How exactly were you going to fix that? The sad part is that my character Sewer Ratty, who was designed to go from 1-50 in the sewers, is kind of redundant now... I mean it's no big deal anymore, people actually ARE using DFB to level up well past 10 or so.
I've used it to go to 22, but that gets pretty old.
OT: Maybe an hour or so - usually don't bother after level 12-18 depending on AT, I'll usually join a posi or PuG Scanner team at that point. -
Theres an outdoor contact in Imperial City ("Going Rouge" explore badge) that I *think* counts for it if you log out right next to her.
-
Wait, so they're giving heroes a way to get Gangbuster that's MORE painful than the regular fashion?
*FACEPALMDESK* -
And my memory says that I can't since I'm only affecting self (gotten caught more than once on my Ill/Time since Afterburner provides me with in mission flight control).
-
I went for ELA for a few reasons:
1: Damage Aura - my TW/WP toon on beta found that he was always JUST shy of defeating massive numbers of minions, requiring me to waste another AoE where Lightning Field would've sufficed.
2: Tanking potential: Electric Armor is FANTASTIC for iTrials - capped energy, massive S/L, Psi Resistance, the whole 9.
3: End Management - TW is monstrous on the blue bar, so this is a no-brainer.
4: End Drain Resistance - To prevent Carnies and the like from ruining my fun.
That said, I haven't ruled out a TW/Fire for farming purposes, but the elec is going to be my new project. -
Quote:You can't click a glowie if Afterburner is on - Only affecting select prevents you from clicking them.I've tried the crafted Temporary Power: Smoke Flash, and the results seemed a bit haphazard to me; if I need to click a glowie in a hostile environment, I've had better luck under Cloaking Device by turning on Hover and Afterburner and doing it temporarily defense soft-capped and hoping there aren't any lucky interrupting hits.
