No and I never will. My mains are both the first hero and villain (respectively) that I ever created, they're staying put until the game goes away.
When Time came out I decided to roll another character based on my villain main (Bots/Dark) because Bots/Time fit the character much better (and time travel is a handy excuse for such things). I actually rolled a third one also that is a Beam/Time. -
Last week I got 2 purples within 30 seconds of one another.
Random. Move along.
EDIT: I think accuracy has been nerfed again though... -
I've been playing this game since I4/5 (mostly continuously) and I never knew this was an available command. Learn something new every day!

Pretty sure it works the same way, yeah. I tested it in the TH before making my post just to be sure, so I'd be surprised if the Power Suppression Room in AE works any differently.

Quote:??? This isn't true at all. You're referring to the Praetorian Trading House, but toggles that get disabled when you enter remain disabled when you leave.Another vote for suppression, the code already exists for this IIRC from one of the buildings in praetoria. Your toggles don't work or animate while on the rocket board, but are still there when you get off.
This was actually how I thought it was going to work, I wouldn't have bought the hover board had I realised. -
I'd like a Big Red Ball travel power, but only if I can use Footstomp while bouncing around on it.

Quote:You understand this is just the forum and not the actual server, right? ;]Now if Pinnacle is such a kosher server why trepse over to championland with your little quip parade.
;]
Quote:Uman makes a valid point often repeated in the general section that not everyone wants to participate in incarnate trials, and given that teams made up of just two players (or fewer) have thrashed through every tf maybe it's time to lower the minimum requirement with a warning that your chances of success will be lower if you start with the least number.
Quote:I'd suggest you should repost this in the suggestions area but that's a wastleland of bitter gatekeepers who've opposed virtually every innovation that's tampered with the original game (or cov expansalone), but if you repost I'll lend a post in support, also it couldn't hurt to send Synapse your idea and link to the thread. -
Try harder. Dunno about you folks on Champion but Pinnacle has zero issues forming TFs along with Incarnate Trials. Plenty of people have plenty of alts that need plenty of XP, and TFs are the best place to get it (assuming you're not just PLing).
Why just the LGTF though? It's far from the only TF that requires 8 people. Also, have fun defeating Weakened Hamidon with a team of 4 on a PUG. -
And here I thought Kirk vs. Picard and Joel vs. Mike were the nerdiest arguments around. Wow. Doctor Who wins again, I guess.

You need to be full Villain (or Rogue), but the Patrons arcs that unlock their powers are 35-50, so you should be able to get introduced to one of them through Arbiter Rein.
EDIT: Scooped while writing! -
Quote:Secretly embittered dev maybe? While copying files now and then I'll trip a false alarm like this because a file looks similar to that of what the current protection software has knowledge of. I'm quite sure that there's not going to be malware out there just 'hoping' that you're going to install the launcher. Well, unless of course it's someone who Really hates the game for whatever reason, but then they'd have to distribute it somehow. ;-)

There's way more content than DFB, you should explore it. Next step is usually Kings Row, when you enter the zone a Detective will be added to your contacts, go talk to him to get a Police Radio that will give you repeatable mission content. Do enough missions and the Detective will send you to stop a bank robbery (a Safeguard mission). Complete that and he'll introduce you to a new contact. There are Detectives in all (?) the main city zones. The zone listing on the tram will give you level ranges so you know which zones you should move to next (they're not level-locked but you're asking for trouble if you go somewhere beyond your level).
And yeah, a travel power is a must. Fly or Super Jump would be good ones for a new player.
EDIT: Also, as a point of order, people generally don't list origin when describing their characters. It has virtually no effect on any meaningful gameplay. -
90%* of the time when an actor is talking about how much longer they're going to be on a show, it's just because their contract hasn't been renewed so they don't want to push it and be like "hell yeah I'm doing another 5 years!". He also may not want to jinx it, which is not really rational but something a lot of people do.
*lol statistics -
I love when someone has been proven so completely and irrevocably wrong yet they insist on digging their heels in anyway.
Don't make statements about what should be "easy" to code. The devs have specifically stated that these powers work this way because of the amount of time that it would take to create new animations (and yes, they would be new animations). Beast/Ninja Run aren't the same because while they are animations themselves like the Flying Carpet and Hover Board, you don't maintain the positions when your powers animate. Instead you just play a different animation, then return to your previous animation. That won't work quite as well for an animation involving something that is meant to be another object (the board/carpet would just vanish while your power animates, then reappear when it's done), hence the requirement of a metric pantload of new animations. It has nothing to do with the devs' magical fantasyworld of "intent" where everyone shall play the game as They demand (and that is certainly an issue in some areas of the game), it's purely a matter of practicality.
You're wrong. Sorry. This is where you go "oh well" and let it die.
Oh but that's right, I'm just being "snarky", so it doesn't matter what I say, because it's impossible to be correct and derisively mock someone's ridiculously wrong opinions at the same time. -
AVG and Ad-Aware say it's fine. Since the forum isn't currently flooded with questions/angry posts about this, I think it's reasonably safe to assume that it's just you.

Quote:http://digitaljournal.com/article/309767Did he? Do you have more to go on? After his first series, he'd periodically mention that he wants to do movies, too, so the expectation is that he'll relinquish the role in a year or two - or who knows? He's definitely sticking around for the 50th anniversary.
Quote:"Making Doctor Who can be a long, painstaking process, it can be tough work, but I wouldnt have any other job in the world," the Northhampton, Nothhamptonshire native actor confesses. "I love the actors I work with, the brilliant words and jokes I get the chance to say, the fun of making a series like this...I mean, we are making Doctor Who, how could you not have a better acting job? Im shooting for the title of the actor who played the Doctor the longest. Now, thats a title Id be proud to have." -
Quote:Apart from not realizing that Walk and Hover Board are working as intended, and not realizing that Hover Board + powers would require dozens (hundreds?) of new animations, you have also posted a petition thread, which is very against forum rules. This is why it acts as a petition, I'm -deeply sorry- I ever posted this on Suggestions and Ideas. But this is not the time for arguments, thank you for your feedback.
This thread has everything! ...all wrong. -

Quote:Didn't he originally say, before he started, that he wanted to out"live" Tom Baker as the longest-running Doctor? He'll repay your efforts - he and Karen Gillan just won their respective categories in the National Television Awards for acting. Incidentally, Smith confirms that he won't be leaving soon (contrary to rumor).

Watch The Pandorica Opens, and then -- and then -- tell us how "small" you think Smith's Doctor seems.

No, characters who were left logged out in Outbreak/Breakout prior to Freedom remain there, unlike characters in Galaxy or pre-revamp Faultline (or, with all likelihood, pre-revamp Dark Astoria).
