it's not as simple as applying a bonus to your final totals. The Alpha Slot is a global enhancement which affects every power capable of taking that type of enhancement(in this instance, Resistance and Endurance Reduction); for those powers already at the ED cap for enhancements, a portion of the Alpha bypasses ED.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to crunch the numbers but I'm sure someone else here can. -
Yes yes dear god yes. And while we're at it, how about we make some of these contacts a little more interesting besides "random Joe Schmuck on the street"? If you read the bios you see that some of them are former superheroes but you'd never know it otherwise.

Quote:Sorry but you're wrong. At best, Going Rogue was meant to include a preview of the Incarnate System; everything that was meant to be included got pushed back to I19, along with actual stuff to do with the Alpha Slot (Apex and Tin Mage) since those wouldn't have been released with Going Rogue. (No, it wasn't pushed back because it "wasn't ready". It was part of I18 Closed Beta. Aside from how you earn shards, the slot itself is unchanged from that time.)I'm also worried that Going Rogue is going to be released over the next year and a half or longer... I feel that when they sold the Incarnate system as part of Going Rogue that there was an implicit agreement that it would be available when that was released.
So even if you assume that Going Rogue's release was somehow "incomplete" because they pushed something back in order to make it more fun, I19 has "completed" Going Rogue. The Incarnate System was always going to be released over time. -

AHHHHHHHHHH UNCANNY VALLEY AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Marcus Cole looks a little like Julian McMahon there, which is funny since he actually played a character named Cole. -
We don't know, but that would be a cool idea, despite your ridiculous sig demand.

If the sun moves across the sky fast, the enemies in the mission need to move faster too.

I'll let Elizabeth Taylor field this one. Liz?
Now I'm gonna howl. AH-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO -
Quote:More info: This is evidently not a persistent bug, since I ran a Posi Pt. 1 the other day and didn't have any issues with the final mission. Also IIRC this is an old bug.Yet ANOTHER problem: Looks like missions that are of the "board train" variaty are f'ed up. Yesterday while on a Kahn TF we repeatedly had to all log off and switch team leaders around (to reset the mission) on almost every mission to be able to actually zone inside the mission. Worst was on the last mission, tooks us almost two rounds of fully rotating team leader to be able to access it, by the time we actually managed to two people have already given up and quit the TF.

One detail you left out, from the description for the Stormwatcher badge in Firebase Zulu:
Quote:Could be a red herring, though. It was here that Earth's explorers first encountered the mysterious entities of the Shadow Shard. Their threat was implicit and the need to keep them contained became a driving force in the establishment of Tempest Sector. As a representative of Paragon City, you have joined the fight to prevent the denizens of the Shadow Shard from extending their range into your home dimension. Some see their discovery of Primal Earth's dimension as inevitable; a "coming storm" which could rival the Rikti Invasion in destructive potential. -
I had a really hard time playing my Crab Spider because he was so tight for power picks. Just respecced him last night, his build comes together a lot sooner now and hopefully he'll run better.

It should be pointed out that if you won't be able to afford purples, you definitely aren't going to be able to afford PvP sets like Gladiator's Javelin, not unless you plan on doing lots and lots of PvPing.

This sounds really overly-complicated, especially for level 20. From what little we've seen of the Incarnate System past the Alpha Slot, they might be using it to implement a signature power system. The next Incarnate Slot is, per the official Going Rogue site:
Judgement: Grants new upgradeable area of effect (AOE) powers. -
Quote:People in the Issue 20 Closed Beta probably know, but they can't say due to the actual NDA they had to sign for it.No one knows, as no players have tested the level shift mechanics before. But with everything we know about the way these critters work, I would personally imagine that they will still con exactly the same as they do now after a level shift.
(And no, this is not an implicit admission of being in I20 CB. I barely even have time to play on the Live servers.) -
They certainly look nice, but I've already encountered one or two rooms that crashed my framerate. That was pretty disappointing given that I don't have this kind of trouble in Praetoria.

When I saw this thread title I immediately imagined Hamidon wearing a giant Santa hat.

Quote:Clearly you're not "forced" to team as a squishy since many squishies have completed the mission on their own. What conclusion do you suppose one should draw from this? That mission isn't hard, it's a flat out cheap zergfest both EB's do cheat beyond belief, and frankly if I as a squishy fan wanted to be forced to team to take on a mission that melee players or certain build do with ease, well I could go play that "other" mmo out there.
The way I finally ended up defeating the Honoree (once I had killed everything else in the room) was to dogfight him in the air with Hover, keeping my distance as much as I could. This meant that I couldn't use some of my most damaging attacks, but it also kept him from doing very much damage -- he certainly couldn't hit me with Total Focus.
Use your accolade powers, use your inspirations. Hit the portals first so you aren't swarmed by Rikti, take out Holtz while using AoEs to whittle down the remaining Rikti, then fight the Honoree at a distance. You might die. Fortunately death is not the end in this game -- use an Awaken, use a rez, or hit a hospital and come back. -
This is a bug, not a feature, and will be back.
-
Didn't find it that hard on my Blaster to be honest. Mission set at -1, liberal use of insps, accolades and a temp or two. Yeah, I died once or twice, but so what. It should be that hard.

FYI, a good number of those 50s were probably spawned during the latest (and as of today defunct) AE exploit.

Logged in but can't connect to a server.
Leaving for work in 15 minutes, then working for the next 5 hours.

you can buy as many as you want. I picked up the Cyborg and Super Science Boosters.

I used the freespec I already had along with a few Veteran respecs to start my DB/WP's complete overhaul (6-slotted Analyze Weakness in Ablating Strike? WHAT???), so that allowed me to strip everything out. Tomorrow's respec will complete the process.

At least GMs. It's irritating to chase a GM around half the map just because he happens to have a debuff on him (I'm looking at you, Ghost of Scrapyard and Deathsurge!).
