As I recall I was jumping all around trying to get it to work.
Might chalk this up to 2XP weekend, been getting all sorts of weird bugs. -
Static Field is a pseudopet, so I believe it will only have a chance to proc once, when you activate the power.

I had a mission on an instance of the King's Row map (the one with the graveyard), specifically Fortunata Hamilton's first mission to rescue a potential Seer. When attempting to leave through the orange "exit square", I got the warning "You are about to exit the zone", but didn't actually exit. I tried leaving and re-entering the square several times to no avail. Of course I was able to leave once the mission completed, but not being able to leave mid-mission is a problem. Has anybody else encountered this, or was it just a one-time fluke?

Quote:That doesn't sound right to me. What about Moral Choice missions? It should also be noted that you can only go undercover for the faction you originally chose (post-tutorial, if you ran it). So Loyalists can get undercover content while running Resistance mishes and vice-versa, but they can't then turn around and call Calvin Scott for undercover content in Loyalist missions after supposedly switching sides. Whichever faction you originally chose is your permanent "real" alignment until you go to Paragon or the Rogue Isles.
-
As a Resistance member, you don't need to be introduced to Loyalist contacts, you can just walk up to them and start doing their missions (and vice versa).
-
So wait, does the character you play have to be between 30-40?
-
Nope. Did 5 tips on Thursday night then another 5 + Morality last night (the Morality actually dropped from defeating the boss of the last tip).
-
...Actual literal craptons? I am not familiar with this unit of measure. And I'm not sure I want to be.
-
I think it sounds more like a reference to this arc, myself, but the devs do seem to have gotten fond of throwing little clues (or misdirections) into tiny things that you don't normally pay attention to.
-
Nope. I don't spend enough time on this forum to know who's a regular and who's a random dude who wandered in asking dumb questions.
Also, I haven't been playing a lot recently so I have no clue what salvage prices are like. Kinda sad that I actually considered that plausible. -
No. The whole point of badges is that you have you earn them somehow. This would cheapen it.

Quote:You certainly wouldn't want to repeat yourself.I can't comment about the specific powers in this thread, but I can comment on the names we picked.
One of my driving goals was to not repeat a "first letter" so players would be able to abbreviate Incarnate Slots without duplication (like we deal with with Skyway City, Steel Canyon and Siren's Call).

Suddenly I'm regretting even entering this thread. I think I'm just gonna stick with "wobbly-wobbly timey-wimey" and call it a day.

Quote:yeah but they already did thatI'd like DC and Marvel to merge into one company, because the multi-issue, multi-arc event they'd come up with to explain it would be one of the most stupid and awesome things in the history of comics

I have a feeling that the NPCs for this may already be placed in-game and are simply waiting to be activated. In Sharkhead there's an Operative Luong standing by the Arbiter at the foot of the Arachnos base; when you talk to him, a blank dialog window opens. I also came across a female NPC in a Train Station in Paragon who seems to serve no purpose, but when I talked to her she just said something in a chat bubble, no dialog window popped up. (Unfortunately I forget her name and what she said.)

IIRC, crossovers like JLA/Avengers and Green Lantern/Silver Surfer took place in the same continuity as Amalgam did (relative to the separate universes, not the merged one).
-
There's no such thing as level 60 mobs and this is a ridiculous idea.

New members to PinnBadges are silenced by default, you will need to send a tell to an op in the channel (denoted by a star next to their name in the member list) requesting that you be unsilenced. While you're there, note the people with white boxes next to their names -- these people are silenced.
As for why things are so silent, two possibilities come to mind: your playtimes coincide with down times for server population, or you're not properly set up for chat and consequently you're not actually sending messages to a global channel, but rather a channel like Local or something. If you want to make sure you're always chatting in your active chat tab, press the "A" above the area where you type. PinnBadges tends to have peaks and valleys of inactivity, but as long as you're not playing during some weird time of the day you should be able to get someone's attention (just keep in mind that idle channel conversation gets a little...weird sometimes). -

Ask someone in Wentworths or on Broadcast to open a portal, jump in and then get the badge which is right at the top of the building -easy on a flyer, but you can walk up the spire if you aren't a flyer.
*snicker* -
Gosh, why not just remove trial accounts altogether?

The state of Rhode Island requires all employers to provide a 30 minute lunch period if you work at least 6 hours.

GM response time is highly variable. Like Dark_0mega said it depends on the time of day, and of course how many people are ahead of you.
As for Broadcast, keep in mind that only people who are in the same zone as you can see what you type in Broadcast. If you happen to be in a zone like, say, Brickstown, there's a good chance you're the only person there. If you type /whoall while in a zone you can get a list of everyone who is in the zone (although some people may be hidden and thus won't appear on this list, but it's a good place to start).
