If all you care about is badges then yes you can skip it, however it's not "just" another scripted invasion since the spawns are dev-controlled.

My highest level Defender is level 19 and moved off the server in favor of a potential Dominator reroll. Sorry.

Quote:It's a lot easier to pull that off in an animated medium versus live action.West and Bale represent the two ends of the spectrum. West was super, extreme campy while Bale went for microscopic to non-existent levels of camp. The animated series, I think, struck the happy balance. Capturing Batman's dark, moody tone and themes while still utilizing his full entourage and history.
Heck, they put Ace the Bathound in Batman Beyond. To me, THAT shows an understanding and love of the character. Much more than just sweeping anything you don't like under the rug. -
It just says Sharkhead because you're a Rogue and the map is getting confused.
-
So do Malta Gunslingers, so it's not exactly new tech, it's just a matter of attaching it to player-generated models, which I'm sure is quite non-trivial.

No we didn't, the devs despawned the head along with all remaining tentacles. Then after people started leaving they respawned the tentacles, because they are jerks.*
Quote:We also broke Zwillinger's computer, we rocked so hard.
*Disclaimer: Not seriously calling the devs jerks, please don't mod me! -
So much for new actual shark costume pieces, instead we get repeats that will be back in 2 months anyway.
Might as well not have even bothered with Mako Week. The players arent always right, devs. -
You did this on purpose, there's no way that was a fluke.
-
If we don't get some shark-themed costume pieces then Mako Week will be a complete failure.

Posting a question in Player Questions? Absurd!

Quote:My theory for the Hacked Teleporters is that the devs actually had to hack together code in order to make them work, hence the name.Oh yeah for sure! No I did not mean anything huge the name change was a joke
. I was remembering In I22 we got the hacked teleporters, So new things are not entirely impossible.
Impossible, no, but sadly quite improbable. -
Nothing announced for I24, and I wouldn't count on anything for the foreseeable (and unforseeable) future. The code for bases is a tangled mess and poorly documented, any time the devs have tried to make changes to it or add things it breaks it entirely.

Quote:The difference is that Kheldians were designed as an archetype to be buildable in different ways and still be viable (human only, Nova, Dwarf, tri-form). The same can't be said of Masterminds. The fundamental attributes of the archetype (HP, damage, etc.) are based on the fact that you'll have anywhere from 1-6 pets with you. The best a petless Mastermind might hope for is "quasi-viable", playable in a basic sense but not really worth the effort to get there.I play a Peacebringer without Nova or Dwarf form because I frankly don't like how they look or how they work. Sure there's probably plenty of evidence to suggest that I'm gimping myself by doing that, but I've still had years of fun with the character regardless. *shrugs*
I honestly don't know how playable a petless Mastermind is or could ever be. The only real "problem" with it is that some teams might not be willing to tolerate someone playing something that gimp by design. A petless Mastermind player has to be willing to understand that some people won't want him/her on a team. But if you can get past that then I don't have a big deal with someone trying this as sort of fun semi-serious experiment. -
I got 2+ levels (45->47) on a ship raid last night. It definitely applies there.

Quote:All 4 powers in Fitness are now inherent and will be granted to characters upon reaching level 2.I was at the Arbiter and was in the middle of a "test" respec to pull out a ton of currently unneeded IO's and I noticed that the "Fitness" Power set is no longer available. So I cannot select my "Health" and "Stamina" powers now. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Ninja'd, Forbin! -
Quote:Plenty of people still call it CoX, which bothers me to no end (it bothered me even when CoH and CoV were separate games, now it's just silly).Welcome back!
Just FYI: No one calls it 'CoX' any more. City of Villains has been completely subsumed into City of Heroes. The other expansion called "Going Rogue" is now also completely subsumed into the game for anyone who is subscribed. The new moniker of the game is "City of Heroes: FREEDOM" which means that everyone just calls it "City of Heroes," or, "CoH." -
Quote:Wow, so is the original costume creator. You know what's funny? That screenshot that I called the "death star" shot is actually still in use on the official company website.

I can't speak for the other non-Freedom/Virtue servers, but Pinnacle has zero problem with forming iTrials and just had its first successful RHW run last week with more to come. Sure, maybe you can't go to Atlas Broadcast and immediately get a full 8-person team like on Freedom, but I wouldn't consider that the definition of a "ghost server".

Quote:Except I did. I defeated Snow Maiden long before I found that last stupid box.The mission DarkGob mentions failed to show the last glowie because he didn't defeat the named boss.
You are correct about the "hidden objectives" thing, but sometimes the feature fails even despite that. -
Quote:If you think that's scary...It would only work for me if it was:
Bill & Ted 3: Bill and Ted's Excellent Matrix
It's scary how many similarities those 2 movies have -

It depends on the mission, and it's always been pretty unreliable. Last night I had a hell of a time finding the last drop point for Drop off the canisters of Outbreak because of this so-called "feature". However, it seems to work consistently on paper/radio missions.
