Background & Structure:
The Militia was first established as a small crime-fighting group but has now grown to become the much celebrated team known today. They are an organised civil force, a team of powerful heroes dedicated to maintaining order, preventing and detecting crime, and enforcing the laws. Their mission is to make Paragon City a safe place to live and work.
On a Thursday, they appear en mass to patrol the city but can also be found on duty as individually licensed heroes every other day. Some of them have even been seen working with other heroes and super-groups in the on-going effort to improve the city.
Structure: Commander > Team Leader > Active > Dragons > Reserve
To quote the great Crimson Archer, "I wanted with these new ranks and permissions to try and make sure that we are getting the best out of all of our members, and at the same time giving them the best back. Our members can know that they don't have to consern themselves with how things work, while being assured that they will be getting the best support from the SG for their gaming and creativity."
Admission Notes/Requirements:
There are no restrictions or requirements to join except the common expectation to be play nice and have fun. -
Quote from Forum FAQ: Users can edit their own posts up to 6 hours after they are made. Where the change is substantive, you should mark the post as edited so as to alert viewers to the changed content. For cosmetic changes it's better not to do so. Hope that helps.

Pistol, you talk too much. If we get nerf'd I am going to smack you. Very hard.
-
In my experience, you can survive two even con energy assassin strikes in bodyguard mode.

((Yes, it is going to be a real battle in Sirens Call so get your earplugs out, cram in your false teeth and bring it on grandpa.
))

I nominate Pious for his Dragon Sabre stories posted this November, either of parts 1 - 7. Although I'm probably the only one who enjoys reading them. Just realised only the first linked submission counts so heres my fav.

"The Gang will be there to reclaim Sirens Call as Mafia turf, tell Wu Long to just stay close to Pistol" The young girl spun on her heel. The majestic flow of the tail stretching off her deep black trenchcoat emphasised the power of her presence alone. "The name's Blitz. See you on the wargrounds."

I liked this one when I first read it, I think the tension is built up well leading into the main story. KIU.

Got a few hints and tips for those without the fitness pool:
1. do all the bonus challenges 'cos its faster and you get to use any of your special powers if you have em.
2. on the [u]obstacle at plant 3[u] that last roof might be too high to get onto, but if you run around to the back of that big cylinder you will find two sloping cylindrical vents to jump across. -
Good writing. The dialogue is good and you have an eye for description. Yes, the issue is quite emotionally moving I think.
-
I agree there. Its a different way of telling storyplots, thats certain.
Icicles. -
((Mass murder in the Hollows? Evil, barbaric, brutal, monsterous, villainous.. but not heroic.))

MILITIA, YOURE UNDER ARREST! Icicles hollered, hovering high enough in the courtroom, to pick out individual gunmen. He pelted liquid nitrogen at several armed targets. Always wanted to say that
Icicles watched as Derek clothes-lined the last gunman. "Oww, thats gotta hurt. Man, this is more like it. Militia... kicking ars at last."
At the corner of his eyes, he could make out Haley Carpenter's body.
Oh man. Oh god! Is Mer'de dead? he thought.
Several other heroes from the Jury had attended to her. He swooped down to inspect. The public audience were struggling through the exit, pushing and shoving in panic, blocking entrance for the Police.
