Quote:The market is at most 2 minutes away from wherever you happen to be. It is a convenience and does not add any additional functionality. It is an appropriate award, though it is one that I will probably never reach. My only suggestion is to not make something as incredibly useful as the market slash command a vet reward.
And that's fine because I can just fly to the freakin' market if I need to sell anything. -
If you think that AE broke the game then you probably weren't around for the constant broadcast spam for farm teams in PI or Grandville. People are going to power level one way or another, AE has nothing to do with it.
-
You know, maybe some people don't really use A-merits. Maybe not everything needs to be reward driven.
Or I might just be too stricken with altitis to really grind out enough A-merits to get something worthwhile <.< -
The sooner Brand New Day ends, the better.

This could have been either terrible or epic. There is no inbetween

I like how people were complaining about how redside couldn't let you be terribly evil and now that we have tip missions that do let you be terrible and evil, people complain that it's too evil.

I'd just like to be able to switch all my VEAT's costume slots between the Arachnos costume or the default costume creator.

Quote:This would be a pretty interesting idea to explore.Idea time.
How about a mission to an alternate Earth where they did try to give everyone a Medi-Port beacon, but there was a citywide disaster that triggered a mass teleport and the overload caused a malfunction, fusing half the people into freakish monstrosities.
Nightmare fuel.

BAB had a solution to the redraw problem, but apparently shields didn't want to play nice with the solution.

I look forward to it finally ending.

Quote:I think I'm the only person who actually likes the Faultline/Fusionette pairing. You stop that. Jimmy's mine (just as soon as I manage to actually permanently get rid of that Fusionette chick.)
But then I never really understood the appeal of Shipping or Die For Our Ship. -
A White Dwarf spawned due to the Kheld on the team. The rest of the paragraph broke my sarcasm meter.

Seeing as my Dark/Dark Brute has gotten frequent flier miles from the hospital due to how often she faceplants, and the fact that I utterly loathe the way she plays, I'm going to say DM/DA for worst set.
I await the ensuing mass of people telling me that I need to learn to play or some such. -
My BS/SR is both a relatively rare powerset combo and one of my favorite characters to play since he's hard to kill and packs a punch.

There is no fast track. It is not implemented, it never will be implemented. It is merely an plot contrivance to separate the player's incarnates from NPC incarnates such as Statesman.
The 9 other incarnate slots have not been implemented yet, the rare and ultra rare tiers have not been implemented, challenges for fully incarnatized characters have not been implemented beyond Apex and Tin Mage.
The only part of the system that currently exists is the Alpha slot and the first 2 tiers of it. There is currently no other part of the incarnate system and no fast track to gain all 10 slots, that again, have not been implemented yet.
The choice in the story arc was a false choice, a fake choice, there was never a choice and never will be a choice as the inevitable and only outcome to it is to gain just the Alpha Slot. -
DM/DA brutes/scrappers/tanks. I don't see why people keep bragging about how strong they are. My DM/DA brute's level 30 and trying to play the character is like pulling teeth. barely any survivability even with Dark Regen and Siphon Life, barely kills anything even with Soul Drain, Smite, and Shadow Punch, and a major end hog on top of that. True I don't have either of the Disorient or Fear auras yet, but I can't see either making that big of a difference in effectiveness.
Every other Scrapper, Tank, and Brute, even the DB/ELA Brute, I have was easier and less painful to level. -
Revamp the old Paragon City story arcs I agree with completely.
They are old and not terribly interesting compared to newer content. -
This would require adjusting every player attack animation in the game to have a shield variant.
Its probably not going to happen due to the time investment required. -
Warmace/EA, people keep saying that its strong and pretty.
Lies. -
Quote:The irony is that I've been accused of having a really big ego. I don't. I generally recognize my strengths and my talents, but I also have major self-esteem issues, usually bottoming out somewhere about the level of whale poo. Plus I have the damnedest time accepting compliments with any modicum of grace.

Yes. Streamline the contacts, spruce up the character models, and remake the arcs to be more in line with newer content.
Especially do this for the higher level arcs from way back when arcs were filled with tons of filler because that's all that you had to do at that point.
If you take a level 1 Praetorian arc and compare it to one of the level 1 arcs in Atlas....the comparison is not very favorable to the 6 year old content. -
