As for what the difference is... Reducing them to aliens makes them less epic. They become a mundane-- albeit otherworldly-- species, instead of primal forces of the universe.

In either case, there aren't that many Pool powers in general, and I would bet dollars to doughnuts that Epic powers already have custom variant, as they're clones of powerset powers that were already customized.

What I fear for is dedicated mobile gaming machines, like the 3DS and PSP. When almost everyone has a tablet and can buy Angry Birds for $5, who's going to to pay $35 for a DS cart or PSP whatever-it-is-they-play? If the quality of games for tablets was equal to the DS and PSP, I wouldn't care, but I don't think we're there yet. Pokemon would be nice on the iPad, though.

We are getting the Vanguard costumes, but YMMV on that. I'm looking forward to that because for me it literally is a brand new costume set.

I need /Rad damn it! At this point I only like two of the MM secondaries (Dark and Thermal) so I need another one that I'll actually play. Or changing the power customization color pools of Snowstorm and Freezing Rain to match the rest of Storm Summoning instead of being limited to light, pastel crap.

from what i recall fluffies carry over the buffs you have when they spawn. so they get some hasten, eclipse etc. for some of their life. -

When translating a story/character from one visual medium to another I expect them to look similar, that includes skin color. Like it or not, but how a comic book character looks is just as important as their personality.
Non-visual medium to a visual medium? Go nuts and use whoever fits (unless the story requires a character to be a certain phenotype or whatever). -
