  1. Knockback would be epic if it caused extra damage and environmental destruction.

Of course when the game runs worse and doesn't look nearly as nice there's big optimization problems in the code.
  3. I'm not sure they can fix the seams. A ton of older stuff in game has the same problem with seams.

Everyone in the game who uses tights or regular clothes is like that to me.

Her settings looked the same, but the culprit seems to have been the shadow settings. Like Coulomb reported above, the patch reset her shadows from the once-available "stencil shadows" to a high-quality shadow.
While that may be the problem for those that used the non-ultra mode settings, there is still a huge performance decrease for those of us who had the shadow settings at max before the patch. Even setting the new ultra-mode shadow settings at the bare minimum doesn't yield pre-patch FPS levels for me.
  6. Same thing has happened to me. Previously with every Ultra mode option at max (aside from AO set at High Performance) Blueside in Atlas would never dip below 35FPS and had highs of 50FPS. Now with the same settings it never goes higher than 35FPS and spends a lot of the time at 20FPS. It's performing as bad as Redside now.

Which is why the Mutant origin is redundant. Natural and Science covers all the themes in Mutant.

I like this pack because it makes up for the Science pack hosing those of us with scientific experiment characters rather than scientist characters.

Too bad that costume requires a character to be at least lvl 35.
  9. Subjective: Both look good, but I'm leaning toward the Organic Armor due to the new model geometry. And on that note, it feels like something is missing in the waits/thigh area. Really could use some of that thorny armor as a belt option.

    Energy Aura?

The stealth is counter-intuitive to Brutes and the repel is counter-intuitive to both Brutes and Stalkers. Plus the typed defense.

That would require re-coding every damage power a Blaster has access to.

You know what else is a furry? This. Here is another. Getting into things I didn't draw myself, we have this and this. I fail to see anything creepy about these characters, and I curse the very loud minority of furries who give a bad name to all fans of the subset of anthropomorphic art - and a quick search on Google will get you just as much creepy stuff, plenty of it creepier than that picture by a large margin, of human superheroes (a search for Sue Storm yesterday, to get ideas on how to render partial invisibility, brought up some stuff that was downright disturbing... with Safe Search ON).

For the record, I dig humans.
Frankly all but the silly looking dragon guy are creepy looking to me.
  17. I completely ignore the Mutant Origin in the game as I feel it's an unnecessary subdivision of the Natural Origin.
  18. I'm in favor of whatever removes the movement penalties from Rooted and raises the performance of Stone Armor outside of Granite.
  19. A Peacebringer may be consistent, but the performance level of said consistency is too low for me. The average performance of a Warshade is much higher and more fun.

Smooth is relative though. What FPS do you get looking out over Mercy Island from just beyond the base portal?
  22. That really just highlights how poorly optimized the Cryptic engine is. It seems like the old Redside performance issues that never got fixed (but went away due to people upgrading their hardware) have reared their ugly heads again due to the increased graphical load.

The thing is that we don't know what you mean by beautifully.

Considering how well the cards do outside of CoH, I'm gonna have to say that the problem is with CoH's engine. Specifically where it's rendering a ton of non-visible geometry and shadow maps.

Only if the secondary is a Ranged/Armor set that uses the PPD Shell/Hardsuit. That's the whole reason why I want a PPD Epic AT (well that and the chance for the Awakened branch to do Peacebringers differently).
