    Scythe Class!!!

    Could get behind Scythes if they were in a powerset that included the following weapon choices:

    Scythes
    Hockey Sticks
    Boes
    Quaterstaffs
    Halbards
    Bladed Spears
    Vanguard Sword (Double ended)
    Extending Acrobat Staff (DnD TV series)
    Walking Sticks
    Canes

    Anyone else agree?

    But I think the issue the devs have is more to do with the players without SG/VG's

  4. Ok what I see is:

    1. Only the pre live versions of GR (Expansion) will get the option to get the item pack (for a further fee) at GR's live date (July) and early access to the powersets.

    2. The GR (Expansion) from GR's live date will be standard versions.

    3. GR (Complete) will always include the item pack but as it will only be launched at GR's live date there will be no chance of early access, however you will get an additional month of game time for buying it.

    Level 1 to 20 in any of the 3 starting sides and then swap through to the opposite side.
  7. The level 20 EAT's could be refering to two (or more) as yet unknown GR EAT's

    That would leave the existing Hero/Villain EAT's at level 50, and the new ones from level 20, the very same level you have to leave GR and select a side.

    Which would in the sense of GR be the point that you exit into existing (as of now) content, the end of the GR starter arcs too.

    Complete GR starter = Get GR EAT's (Seems logical to me.)

    A Zone Specific Doorway if placed must lead to a zone containing a ferry terminal.
    Or the Ferry Terminal room can not be placed in a base.

    6. Etc...

    Except for on the bugged magic cape. the only other capes from lvl 1 are the valk and SoA ones.


    Devs... FYI there is also a bug difference between Male and Female versions of the Magic High Collar cape.

    I'm only making the suggestion with my idea, what he devs decide to do with it is up to them obviously...

    However as for this being one of the Praetorian unlockable EAT's,
    I agree, it could then have a base DMG and ACC buff on the attacks
    to compensate for the dual weapon selection redraw.

  13. A further breakdown...

    Thugs MM's with Trick Arrow have 3 customizable weapons.

    Shields already have a team based buff, the modified version could also have a mez resist.

    'Enforcement' would have redraw between pistols and mace but it would also have 'Call Reinforcements' aka Gang War Pets.

    Also note that I requested 3 Ranged and 3 Melee attacks, I would assume a good player wouldn't use a Melee weapon for Ranged attacks or a Ranged Weapon for Melee.

    In fact they could have a dual damage modifier depending on range and equipped weapon.

    The main design behind this was as I previously stated due to there being 4 (or 5) security and police groups...

    Paragon PD, Preatorian PD, RIP, Private Security. (And Possibly Crey.)

    Now a police belt (Official) has a police baton and revolver...

    With 'Enforcement' it would potentally be possible to modify hidden copies of this belt with either the holster open or the baton missing depending on which was equipped from the set.

    If 'Enforcement' and the additional belt option was implemented, it could pave the way to have scabbards etc which display the customised sword hilt when it isn't equipped and an empty scabbard when it was.

    (Look at the KoA NPC's for an example of an equipped but empty scabbard.)
  14. Here is an idea of how I think these things up and an extended suggestion:

    I recently had an idea for Defenders and their redside counterparts to get Shield Defence proliferated. (Modified to be more team oriented than self.)

    Then I started thinking about the various Police groups, Paragon PD, Praetorian PD, Rogue Isle Police and Private Security...

    I got thinking that the above Defenders and their counterparts should get a Single Pistol ranged set, but then I recalled some ranged sets also have a few melee attacks...

    Then I recalled that Thugs Masterminds could have 3 customizable weapons, Left Pistol, Right Pistol and Trick Arrow Bow. (Possibly 4 whenever PPP's get customization.)

    So having a Shield and 2 other weapons should be possible...

    So a Single Pistol/Mace Combo Powerset (Enforcement.) and (Team based) Shield for the Defenders and their counterparts would be ideal...

    Yes I know this may make them Offenders (Offensive Defenders.) but that seems to match with their Dark/Dark setup anyway.

    Defenders imho are typically the only Hero AT that is not a squishy Ranged based AT or a hard hitting Melee based AT.



    The Powers I would suggest including would be:
    1. War Mace: Bash, Clobber and Crowd Control.
    2. Dark Miasma: Fearsome Stare or Petrifying Gaze.
      (Less of the skull effects but with a similar result, maybe have the mob use the Surrender emote if held.)
    3. Thugs: Pistols (Snap Shot), Empty Clips (Empty Clip), Call Thugs (Call for Backup).
    4. Archery: Aimed Shot (Same name but using a Pistol.).
    5. Other: Some sort of Build Up, Aim or similar self buff.
    It could possibly get the new ammo selection option along with Masterminds Thugs just to keep Dual Pistols identical across the board...



    I would of course suggest having the backup pets vary from:
    1. Paragon PD on a Hero in Paragon City.
    2. Resistance on a Hero/Vigilante in Praetoria.
    3. Praetorian PD on a Villain/Rogue in Praetoria.
    4. RIP on a Villain in the Rogue Isles.
    5. Generic Thugs would suit Vigilantes and Rogues in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.
    However this could be a selection in the powers customisation which could then also include Arachnos and Longbow Troops.

  17. Erm little tip if the DVD gives issues...

    Goto your Master Account on the NCSoft page, and select your CoH Account.

    You can download the MAC Client ONLINE!

    If your CoH account isn't shown and you are a new player, select enter serial code, and enter your games reg code.
    It should then show in your list of games, where you then go to get the game client.

    (Just incase you don't have a master account either you can register for one there too.)
  18. Doesn't sound like a driver issue to me...

    You didn't specify if the keyboard and mouse are connected to the PC by PS2 (Round) connectors or by USB.

    If they are USB then it's most likely a power issue.

    Possible causes:
    Faulty Power Connector/or not plugged in properly.
    Overloaded/overheating PSU.
    Overheating i5 CPU (Cooling not properly fitted.)
    Faulty Motherboard.
    And a few other options...
  19. Just remember for anyone on a 32 bit version of a PC that the 'artificial' memory cap is 4GB Ram total address space.

    So if you have 4GB ram and add a 1GB Gfx card it will reduce the available Ram to 3GB.

    <Ram Addr 1><Ram Addr 2><Ram Addr 3><Ram Addr 4>

    Becomes

    <Ram Addr 1><Ram Addr 2><Ram Addr 3><Gfx Addr 1>

    Within the 4GB Addressing of 32 Bit PC's.

    NB. Obviously a 512MB gfx card would limit the 4GB memory to 3.5GB.

    I just:
    1. Filter my NCSoft emails into a seperate inbox.
    2. Write down the pack name and last 4 of the packs code from each purchase email.
    3. Cross reference with the store site's listing of packs/perks and the 4 digits of the pack code shown.

    Which is exactly what you just posted... A diference of opinion.

    And shame was only because I like bugs and glitches fixed rather than declared WAI...

    I also ensured that both threads knew that it was under review rather than just posting here and leaving it at that.
