  1. I'd like to see a lot more of Galaxy City in the game, maybe add some stuff there that draws people to it for the next issue.

It could be interesting to lower the recharge to 300 seconds for defenders and corruptors but 240 seconds for blasters.
    Totally agree with you.

I'm in the military and I take 5 minute showers when I'm rushing. If I had the time I would take 20 minute showers.

Basic training was probably 60 seconds though. You can definitely get yourself clean in under 60 seconds, but you have to change and all that biz which adds time on.
  4. Because Taxibots request does nothing to harm anyone else and would do nothing but increase the happiness of other individuals, I would tend to agree with him. Having a lot of prestige looks impressive to new players who desire to reach those amounts of prestige. It also can be very symbolic depending on how you play the game or how your SG is run.

Bill you're just being pretentious and it's not very classy. There's no reason to belittle an idea because you don't agree with it. If the idea was implemented it wouldn't hurt you at all. If an option popped up every time you re-joined an SG asking "Would you like to start from scratch or continue your previous prestige progress" there wouldn't be any complaints either way.

This system isn't as bad of a fail as PvP2.0 is, but still it's pretty dang bad. If they don't make it totally random I'm going to be pretty pissed, I've been working my butt off for Very Rares and Rares and am getting diddly 40-50 trials in....

No matter what they do to make it "participation based" it will never be fair because there are too many variables. With random drops you only have leechers as a variable as getting drops when they shouldn't. I guess that's what the kick button was made for. The Devs have definitely overcomplicated this issue and it's killing me.

They will never be happy because it will always have problems and it's going to take a ton of wasted manpower/time always coming up with the next "fix". A purely random drop rate would be much better. Just IMO of course.

I've played around 40-50 trials already on my 53 Fort, buffing, killing bots, destroying everything with no mercy and have yet to see a Very Rare and have only seen 2 rares. Literally, out of 40-50 trials. Other people have been getting virtually nothing but Very Rares & Rares it seems. Make it random so at least it's fair. A leecher can be kicked and most people are making their own teams anyway.

    Lack of acid

I don't recommend giving all the temps to one player for two reasons. 1. Grieving. 2. Player DC's with all the temps. That happened to me and I was the player with the temps. Very unfortunate. Maybe when all the bugs are fixed it won't be an issue. But once people know what to do, it shouldn't be a problem.

Frankly i think they should put more containment cells inside so we get more than the 10 doors. Just sayin'.
  8. Signed x 10000000.

I'd also like clear guidance on the mechanics behind the pool drops. Is it totally random or is the same mechanic that is screwing everyone for iXP in place?

I've run Lambda a few times today, both of the times as a PUG, and failed both times. I know that the reason we isn't any persons fault, but rather a part of the learning curve.

Something to keep in mind with Marauder, his adds (or his legion) spawn periodically from the portals and are meant to be a test of your groups coordination. Some sage words of advice after stage 2 (where everyone runs around gathering grenades/acid) are to pause shortly, remind folks to check their temp power tray, and then venture forth, taking out the portals.

Remember, not everyone reads guides, not everyone checks the forums regularly and not everyone learns new content at the same pace. Be patient with each other, help each other rather than chastise each other, be a team player and listen to instructions and most importantly, have fun!

The problem with this line of thinking is that you expect the PUG to listen when we repeatedly make statements in chat about the Acid Temps. I'm 0-8 I think on Lambda with PUGs and it all comes down to someone not using the Acid temps, we will sit there and beat the crap out of the canister and no one pipes up about having the temp and sure doesn't use it. By the time it's too late there is about 100 baddies hanging out with Marauder who are unstoppable.

BAF is doable with a PUG (although please check into the rez bug I witnessed tonight where Nightstar was rezzed by a dead Siege), but Lambda is not doable with a PUG with any amount of people if people who get temps don't pay attention or just cannot be taught. Give out more of the Acid Temps at least so if there are people being shoddy there's a greater likely hood of someone else having the temp and being able to pick up the slack. If there are 10 portals, have 15-20 temps available during the in house cleaning. Just sayin'

Overall, excellent work on end game content though, this stuff could last forever.

That being said, we're currently investigating the issue.

    Thanks!

Keeps happening to me too, thanks for looking out.

Also, ran a BAF tonight and killed Nightstar and within 5 seconds dropped siege. Siege proceeded to rez Nightstar and then she rezzed him while they were both dead. /Help.
  11. BAF is definitely the easier of the two IMO. Except when you get to Nightstar & Seige at the end, and you drop Nightstar and kill Seige within 5 seconds and she respawns while he is dead and then respawns him. Just want to give a shout out and a thanks for that bug.

You do realize that the current aggro-cap, which is 17 enemies, is just one over the maximum number of enemies that can be targeted by any single attack: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Limits#Aggro http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Limits#AoE_target_limits

So... then... you do realize that raising the aggro cap would also require significant changes to the number of enemies any single attack can hit?

I'm sorry, you might not like the aggro cap, but it's designed the way it is for a reason, and it isn't likely that the developers would ever consider changing that balance.

Technically all that could be changed and ATs could have individual caps, so there is no need to be pretentious with a guy who does have a valid albeit understated concern.

Trying to come off like an internet badass just makes you look like a jerk who has nothing better to do but troll forums.
  13. Nothing is worse than the Zombie attack happening while you are on a Numinas Task Force and you have to wait for it to end so you can finally get your zone kills.

The worst part about that was that the Zombie attack followed us to 3 zones. It was the longest Numinas ever.

I find most zone events to be an annoyance more than anything, but that's just me. If people like them great that's fine, just not for me. You can park someone AFK somewhere and come back and your toon is dead. More of a nuisance really. As long as they let NPCs still spawn during that zombie crap I wouldn't have a problem.
  14. Yea, and a week ok half the servers were dead and in two months they will be dead again. Those green servers are in a world of pain (yes yes except for the unsocial people who like to solo and not be bothered and want to be on their private little doom server)
  15. Yea, same problem here, I even bought two extra slots and I can't use them...

Modified the Brute Fury Formula so that there is a more gradual degradation of Fury Build Up while attacking/being attacked instead of a sharp fall off at 80%. The fall off begins at 30%.

Reduced Fury Decay Rate from 2 points per second to 0.75 points per second.

The overall result of these two changes to Fury Generation is that it will be easier to maintain low levels of Fury, while gaining very high levels of Fury will be more difficult.

Fiery Aura has been BUFFED IMO. Now the damage modifier applies to mostly all damage for 20 seconds, that's a huge buff.

The fury "nerf" as you call it can be seen as a buff as well. At lvl 8 my KM/FA runs around with 200-300% Fury no problem....
  17. I played it with Stone and Fiery Aura and love both. On live I ended up going with Fiery due to the awesome Fiery Aura changes.
  18. Fire/Kin Controller or SS/Fire Brute.

With IOs pretty much anything can be an excellent farmer, but those two in particular shine.
  19. Buying more slots on Freedom and moving everything there.
  20. Think you meant FM/SD in your title bud.

  22. Probably mentioned before, but I think every blast (ice, fire, psy, energy etc) set in this game needs to have a Wand/Staff/Orb/Gun animation set. Basically you just choose your weapon like a Archery would and your blasts come out of your object.

I think that would be very fitting for magicesque characters or tech characters who shoot ice beams out of their weapons etc.

I would be hard pressed to consider "hasten" "indom will" and "rage" as "botting" powers. Having an unlimited amount of self effecting powers on auto and one critter effecting power on auto doesn't seem very inappropriate. Multiple attacks I can understand, but things like the before mention? Not hardly.

    That's a pretty ignorant statement.

Indeed skill is an extremely measurable trait in PvP, and a skilled player with common IOs can beat a total n00b with a billion influence build, but generally speaking how many n00bs go out of their way to throw 6billion into a build? Have fun not having KB IOs.

And time has nothing to do the limitation of the build, that's just ridiculous.

Before i13 people could go into zones with SOd out toons and if they were skilled could crush 2-3 other players easy at the same time. With the new system that is virtually impossible to do with most toons. Skill could make up for the non FoTM build you rolled with, but now it doesn't. You aren't killing something that has more recharge, more def, more res, more recov, more regen, more dam and more procs then you.
