So, how, exactly, does making it easier to respec hurt the game at all, again?
-
1) Not very. You only have to do one of the two offered to you at 40 to actually unlock the patron powerset. Lengthwise it's comparable to a regular story arc.
2) I'm pretty sure they all have a fight against an EB (or AV depending on your difficulty settings) in the end. If you can handle one of those you're okay.
3) Each has its ups and downs. Water Spout from Mako's Leviathan Mastery is popular for PvP as far as Stalkers go. Same goes for Web Envelope from Scorpion's Mace Mastery. If you're not a PvP type of person, I don't think it makes much difference. Go for what fits thematically - red lightning, souls, a bane spider mace or freakin' sharks? -
Heh. Would the stronger, 20s portion of Fiery Embrace affect Volcanic Gasses, I wonder?
-
There was another version in some thread which I liked better, actually. Let me see if I can dig it up.

Not sure if this is QoL, but could we get the option to change character height after character creation if at all possible? If it is impossible to do this for each costume slot seperately, could we get a bar somewhere that affects it for the character as a whole, anyway?

A /petstuck command for whenever my two Arachnobot Disruptors and Arachnobot Blaster all attempt to exit an elevator at the same time and end up burying themself inside the walls with no way out.
Useable by both MMs and non-MMs, of course. -

And certainly, there are no melee attacks in any APP, because extra melee attacks are available in the regular pools.

I see some of the suggestions here about Io's and enhancements. you guys do know you can bin any slotted enhancement any time you want by dragging it to the bin icon?
[/ QUOTE ]Why would anyone want to do that? -

If permadom's are considered a problem surely the most sensible solution is to stop people achieving it?
For the dual AT feel I still think the best idea is to grant a damage buff against non held targets.
[/ QUOTE ]If you want Inherents that discourage proper use of the AT's primary, we already have Defenders for that. Don't need any more. -
I currently have everything from my primary except Taunt and Lightning Clap.
I currently have everything from my secondary except Conserve Power.
I also have Hasten, Super Speed, Hurdle, Health, Stamina, Boxing, Tough, Mu Lightning and Ball Lightning.
Works well for me. I don't actually use Boxing and have no slots or enhancements in it, though. I have a full attack chain without it. -
For the sake of easing frustration and for parity with Heroside challenge levels, give the Thorn Tree in the Villain Respec Trial an "Only Affecting Self" debuff for as long as any Vines are still alive and keeping it invulnerable.

well, lets just screw all the Defenders who cant heal then ^^
A Defender who can heal can be a MUST for a teams survival, ofcouse a bubbler or TA can too, but it's mainly healing that will be required...
[/ QUOTE ]Turbo facepalm. -
Was just wondering if a team-support power has a place on a Blaster - it's usually self-buffs only, unless I'm just failing to remember something.
That's just me, though. -
Not gonna happen because of too many potential (and rather obvious, if you think about it) problems.
Religion-drawn powers, and magical creatures like angels and demons fall under the Magic origin in CoX currently. -
I prefer Tough to Aid Self. Sure, you could get both, but I couldn't fit both in and I like Tough better.

Would've been nice to link us to whichever post it is in here that actually details the changes being made... *searches the thread*
[Edit] Holy [censored]. You know, this might sound subtle but it's actually a pretty huge change.
Still, as was stated in that thread already, it would be tricky to balance between high-damage combos (Fire/Psi?) and high-control combos (Plant/Ice?) without making one more favorable than the next.
It's a litle drastic for my taste so I hope they roll some more ideas around - sounds like they will, thankfully. -
Everyone needs accuracies in their attacks. Two at least, eventually.
Remember not to put more than 3 of the same type (damage, resistance, accuracy) of enhancement into the same power or you'll be wasting slots because of diminishing returns. Brutes can lay off Damage enhancements in the early game because Fury handles that just fine.
And yes, the KB (and other effects) protection toggle is a must have. -

b. It takes the same amount of time to attack when you draw the weapon as when it's already drawn.
[/ QUOTE ]I'm rather certain this is no longer the case. -

2. Scrappers can crit on a regular basis (not having to wait until hidden or the target is held/mezzed)
5.If played in a team enviroment (especially on a LGTF or ITF where there is a higher chance of getting a troller or a dom in the team) the stalker might have a higher DPS due to the amount of crits he/she can pull off *IF* the enemy is mezzed.
[/ QUOTE ]Where have you been? Stalkers don't crit against held/slept targets outside of Hide in PvE anymore, they crit on a regular basis of 10% outside of Hide when soloing (more than Scrappers already), and up to 31% when in a full 8-man team. -
You make it sound as if /Regen has more than one toggle.
It does have 5 clicky powers though. Granted, only 3 of those have healing components.
As for +acc in Healing sets, it wouldn't really be that restricted - both Dark Miasma and Kinetics are very popular powersets. -
Currently players only have access to the Web Master backpack. A friend of mine was making a melee-oriented Crab and mentioned that he'd prefer if they looked less like guns. I then noticed that Crab Spider Slicers (NPCs enemies) have backpack limbs that only look like blades - dunno where they fire Longfang out of - and Crab Spider Longfangs have something that looks somewhere in between the Slicer and Web Master limbs.
So, could we get Backpack models for the Slicer and Longfang limbs as costume options for Crab Spiders as well?
I'll post screenshots later. -
Yeah CI got fixed. Jump damage now counts as done by you, and it jumps a lot faster.

You're not meant to have as much freedom in deciding an EAT's background. It's already in the in-game storyline.
