DW, your powers are slipping!
It's Fenton, not Benton, it was confirmed by the guy who filmed it -
Hey all
At the risk of cross-posting, I wanted to mention this here as well as it's waayyyy more on-topic for this forum
Just wanted to let everyone know I have a new kind of show tonight on Rogues Radio at 10pm UK time.
Instead of the usual DJ Coin's Rock Zone show, I'll be doing a special chat show all about our favourite geek subjects! Be it comics, movies, science-fiction, science fact, computer games, books, whatever takes my fancy, if it's geeky, I'll be talking about it!
Joining me tonight is a my first co-host, The Fish, who will be joining me on air, and those of you who are regular listeners to the station will know, The Fish ain't that knowledgeable about the finer points of geekdom, so it should an interesting few hours
And if you consider yourself more versed in geekdom than us (which, to be honest, most people will be!) then you can even join us on air via Skype to join in the fun! Simply add us to your contacts, we're on there under roguesradio, and you can join in the chat with us live on the radio!
I'm looking forward to it, I hope you can join us in all the usual places, in game, in our chat room or on air with us as it should be........fascinating -

I think you need to be English of a certain age range for this to really hit home. I'm in that age range of 35-45 and the list of stuff he did on Wikipedia is amazing, so much of my childhood cartoons are in it.
Chorlton and the Wheelies.
Count Duckula
Jamie and the Magic Torch ( a series hated by my friend Jamie growing up)
Alias The Jester
The BFG
Truckers
Cockleshell bay
not to mention Captain Kremmen when I was a little older
Even recently, for my own kids, with the likes of the Andy Pandy and Bill and Ben remakes, and Fifi, all stuff my daughters loved when they were little.
Very sad to hear about this one going, he helped give me so many childhood tv memories -
Needles, specifically hypodermic needles, but this can be traced back to an incident in my childhood when I was in hospital, so I at least know what it stems from.
Sooner they get hyposprays in general usage, the better for me -
I'm just glad nothing from Fifth Element was in that list.

Very much do not want to lose knockback! I love Knockback! It's what makes playing Coin so much fun! it's half the skill of the set, learning how to use knockback effectively, using it to push a villain into the wall to make things better for the scrappers, using it to push the attacker away from the defender who's being hit, flying above to knock them down.......great fun!!
Saying that, if it's made optional, that's cool as well, least people can decide for themselves. -
I've been trying to do this for many years now, ever since I heard about it, but I do have legitimate reasons for failing every time, namely my work
It's a bit of a cop out, I know, but I work in toy retail, so I'm coming up on the busiest time of the year for me, with longer days, higher stress levels and I'm working harder, so by the time I get home from work, I'm shattered and just want to relax and spend time with my family.
I've attempted NaNoWriMo a few times and failed it every time for the same reason, I'm just too tired by mid-november to have the energy to do it.
If this was in April or May or something, i'd have a much greater chance.
But one day......one day. -
The Barman says "Sorry, we don't serve time travellers here."
The Doctor walks into a bar. -

OK, first off, this thread is NOT about the new game! I know we're not allowed to talk about that, so I won't.....much as I desperately want to and it's amazingly on topic for the forum, but I'll respect the rules.
This thread is about this....
FX Lab create costume in RL from the game model!!
Seriously, this thing is freaking amazing!! It could easily appear in a TV series, movie, whatever, or just simply be bought a million hard core fans!
Would love to know how much it cost! -
Bah!
Any chance of that Gem Keeper game being released on Android?
Cos, ya know, there's more Android Phones then there are the gods awful Apple rubbish.
I do like me a good tower defense game! -
-
Shatner is God. Nuff Said.
Has Been was a freaking masterpeice, srsly, and this new album looks just as good.
I've no doubt I'll play some of these songs over the next few weeks on my Rock Zone show -
So many people slagging off Justice league, but I'm really enjoying it! Proper old fashioned superhero fighting amongst themselves, classic stuff!
Batman was good as well, interesting which way it's going. Not had chance to read any others yet, will post back later! -
Yeah, I got that, a warning about malware being installed and wouldn't let me go on it?
-
Huzzah!
I can confirm I got my bonus points, was 160, 560
Hopefully this will go smoother next month! -
The Visitor.
Best marriage of sci-fi and characterization I've ever seen done in Star Trek. Ever. -
Annoyingly, e-book version isn't out for 2 days either!!
-
Yup, same. Billing date the 4th for me, all paid fine, still no bloody points.

Indeed, I think the issue will be more in how it's scored, really. No system will ever please everybody, so these things are often heavily debated, and it's always a matter of taste, really.
I've no doubt not many would place Supergirl above Iron Man, but enough people have a high enough love to for it to place it highly and this it scores highly as a result. Iron man 2 had enough detractors that didn't vote for it to make it lower down, I guess.
I'd be interested to see how it was scored and how close the numbers were to each other. -
Bear in mind these were voted for by SF fans, it's not SFX fault if people prefered other films!
I was a little shocked at how low Iron man 2 was though, tbf. Saying that, Whiplash was a crappy villain. -
Sorry dude, but I agree with that!
Batman 3 wasn't perfect, but it was far better than that crap emo-fest of Spiderman 3!
I always enjoyed Jim Carrey as the Riddler! -
Voted for by the fans as well
Actually a damn good list with some nice additions I never thought of, nothing really I'd argue, except maybe to swap 2 and 3
